Embark Event Designs was just the best to work with. They were very kind, open and excited about ideas, easy to work with and just really cared about my experience (the bride) as well as my family and all the guests. They really understood what I was looking for and did an amazing job bringing it to life. The weekend of, they were so on top of it and just excellent to work with. On the day of my wedding, i just felt like i was hanging out with a friend(s) the team just made me feel so calm and excited for my wedding.

Sarah is one of the best wedding planners on the Central Coast. She is extremely talented in the planning and execution of special events. She is professional, reliable, friendly, and overall one of our favorite to work with. She has planned many weddings at our venue leaving our clients over the moon. After two minutes of our introductory phone call, there was no doubt that Sarah was the real deal and we needed to work with her. Sarah is the total package - she is beyond thoughtful, organized, a great friend, professional, fun, detail oriented, creative, the list goes on. I feel SO blessed to have gotten to work with her.

My daughter and her fiancé are the ultimate control-freaks (in a good way) and so I can say I worked with Embark as a lead client, but I have to say every time I was involved, the experience was excellent. I met Sarah at the furniture rental shop in San Francisco where she had flown in to help us big rentals for the wedding. She was calm, had done her homework, and really helped us look at multiple options. She had 4 people to handle - the bride, groom, MOB and MOG. I, of course, tried to be flexible and helpful...;) but that's a lot of opinions to handle. I also worked with Sarah on the phone when the bride wanted my input or wanted me involved in various decisions. Again, I felt she was always calm, collected and flexible - willing to do whatever the bride and groom desired. She is very knowledgeable about vendors, set up, take down, alternatives and the like. Finally - the wedding weekend. Of course, there were plenty of snafus that were totally out of Embark's control, but they handled them very, very well and everything went off without a hitch for the most part. When a mistake was made, it was handled with aplomb. No one wants a jumpy, annoying wedding planner crew during their weekend of events...I found Embark to be the complete opposite. I would highly recommend them.

Working with Sarah was the most enjoyable part of wedding planning hands down. Everyone says how important it is to book a wedding planner and we feel like we won the lottery being able to work with Sarah and her incredible team. From the moment we started working with her (a little over a year before our wedding), we knew we were in great hands. We were looking for a modern, timeless and fun vibe and while decision making is not a great skill of mine, she knew exactly what we were looking for and executed flawlessly.

From mood boards to nailing the smallest details, she was never stressed (or at least never showed it) and was so calm and confident throughout the whole process. I looked forward to every planning call we had together and she could not have been more patient with me when I would have endless questions on literally everything. I have never met someone more professional and detail-oriented, which is everything you could ask for in a wedding planner.

During the actual wedding weekend, Sarah and her team were so incredibly prepared. There was not a single detail that Sarah missed and every guest of ours commented on how seamless the whole weekend felt and that not a single thing went wrong. That is 100% thanks to Sarah and her team - I can't imagine what we would've done without them! Thank you thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!
