The best! So talented, and really listens to her clients

Ellen was wonderful! She is so sweet, and was really pleasant to spend my bridal morning with. She did hair/make-up for me, my mom, and my sister. I don’t wear make-up on a daily basis, so I knew I wanted my make-up to be pretty light and natural (for me, that meant no false eyelashes or heavy lip products); Ellen really listened to that, and she made me feel like the best version of myself, but with a light hand, so I didn’t feel like I was wearing too much make-up. The same is true for my mom and my sister. And my hair! I have pretty thin/fine hair, and I didn’t want extensions – so how Ellen gave me the fullest chignon is beyond me, but I was in love with it! I did not want to take it down, or take my make-up off, at the end of the night. I wish I could hire her to do my hair/make-up every day!

Ellen was amazing! From my trial to the day of, she was so responsive and rolled with all of the times I changed my mind or counts changed. Most importantly, she made me look like a really enhanced version of MYSELF, which is exactly what I wanted and had a hard time finding. She does not pile on the makeup and make you look heavy and overdone like a lot of MUAs in the industry. On top of it all, she's a really cool and nice person! I was happy to spend time with her and chat on my big day. I would reccomend her highly if you're looking for a step above the typical look. She is the best!

Ellen Guhin was my makeup artist for my wedding, and she is incredible! She was so attentive and really worked with me to create the exact look I was hoping for. Her talent and skill are exceptional! Ellen is a true professional - cool under pressure, makes everything she does look easy, super efficient, and is gracious, positive, and fun to be around. Ellen is exactly the kind of person you want by your side on your wedding day. Hire her, you won’t be disappointed!

Ellen was attentive, professional, and worked with me to give me the exact look I wanted for my special day. She did a great job communicating with me before the wedding and on the actual day. My mom, sister, sister in law, and best friend were all ecstatic with Ellen’s work. She listened to each of us and gave us exactly what we were looking for! I’ve already recommended her to another friend. Ellen is the perfect match for anyone looking for a top notch, quick, hassle free experience!

Ellen is the most professional, delightful and talented hair + makeup artist I've had the pleasure to work with. I've never felt more beautiful and most importantly, more like myself after she was finished. She listened to what I wanted and how I felt and also had so many ideas to share. She made me feel comfortable and confident and I would recommend her ten times over!

Ellen is the absolute best. I trust her so entirely and know that whatever the occasion, she’s who I need! I am so confident in her work that I wouldn’t even feel the need to check a mirror before heading out (other than to admire her wonderful work). She understands how to make someone look natural and beautiful and enhance and play up what the physical attributes that make each individual special. She is truly the best, and I will be a repeat customer for life! If you’re smart, you’ll hire Ellen for every special occasion you’ve got and you won’t look back!

Ellen did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and from start to finish she was a dream to work with! I was really scared of getting my makeup done, because every time I've had it done professionally in the past, it looked so over-the-top. Ellen created the perfect natural bridal look, and I felt like myself but a glowier, prettier version! She also did my mom's makeup, and she said she'd never felt better. Ellen also did my flower girls' hair - she gave them cute braids, helped secure their flower crowns, and made them feel like princesses! I'm looking for excuses to get my makeup done again soon...

I could not have asked for a better experience than what I had with Ellen Guhin. She was absolutely amazing. Ellen has the ability to keep you relaxed and at ease all while making you look absolutely fantastic. I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. I gave Ellen a few ideas of things I liked and she produced the most brilliant braided hairstyle and natural looking makeup I could have ever imagined. Ellen even made my niece feel extra special and gave her a matching mini braid. A million thank yous, truly.

Ellen is the best, simply put! She is extremely talented, but for me, even more important than that, she really takes the time to get to know her clients and what THEY want. She doesn't try to push her own style and opinions on to them, but will be happy to guide or provide recommendation if needed. She is such an easy going person that is a pleasure to work with. And not to mention, she did a stellar job for my wedding!!

I could not be happier with Ellen as my makeup artist for my wedding!! She was patient, knowledgeable, and affordable. I would definitely set up a trial if you are not sure about your makeup artist. Her extended knowledge of the latest trends, makeup/photo reaction, and humor during the morning of the most amazing day of your life is worth a call!!!
