She made us feel comfortable and really seemed to care about our day. It called for rain and was pretty windy on our wedding day and she made me feel that despite less than stellar weather she would be able to get some gorgeous pictures and she did not disappoint!

First off, Elizabeth is one of the most joyful people I have ever met. From our first meeting, my husband and I knew that this working relationship would be great. We planned our wedding in Virginia Beach from Hawaii, so it was important for us to have good, open communication via phone and email. Elizabeth's business concept is very organized and proactive. She has amazing, well thought out planning material that she sends in order to help you think out your vision for photography. The day of was absolutely painless thanks to her. She quietly worked and captured such beautiful moments throughout the day. Every guest we spoke with raved about how accommodating she was to take certain group pics. We only have a few snapshots of the day, but so far, they have captured the love and happiness throughout the day. I HIGHLY recommend her and my husband would second my statement, too! Elizabeth captured our engagement in real time, our engagement photos and our wedding! She went above and beyond in all these instances - she dressed camouflaged and hid in shrubbery on the beach so I wouldn’t see her and ruin the surprise on our engagement day, she stopped at ALL of the many spots in which I requested photos during our engagement session (and let me change outfits several times) and the day of our 11am wedding an hour from her, she arrived earlier than her 8am start time and stayed with us til the very end- she even gave me her shoes off her feet when we decided to climb some rocks on our beach shoot! Elizabeth is relaxed, fun creative and always willing to find a way to give you the shots you want! She is professional and quick to respond to emails and calls, finds time to make personal meetings in her busy schedule and provides the edited photos in more than an efficient time. I chose Elizabeth after reviewing her work product on her blog and meeting with her to discuss my vision. Her photography style is natural and classic and really captures what she is shooting. My husband and I felt so natural and confident with Elizabeth as our photographer, from our beach engagement session to our wedding day. I will treasure her photos forever because they are beautiful and perfectly capture us, our friends and family, and everything about our wedding day. She was able to shoot our Catholic ceremony in church, get all our family portraits done, and transition to the reception venue and get amazing wedding party pictures all before cocktail hour! Elizabeth is hands down the best- especially if you are have a coastal wedding/event (even though I'm positive she could do anything!)! From our engagement pictures that we had to reschedule due to weather to the very end our wedding reception- we had a great experience. Elizabeth is enthusiastic, fun/comfortable to be around (even if you're camera shy!), punctual, makes great recommendations while still allowing you to be creative. She gets to know you and your partner, your family, your friends- everyone!

Elizabeth posts sneak peaks very soon after the shoot/event- she knows how excited couples are to see photos! Having photos both in an online album makes sharing them with family and friends a breeze and the flash drives store thousands of pictures! Once pictures are received, they are well organized.

Where should I begin with how talented, warm-hearted, passionate, and amazing Elizabeth is?
Because wedding planning is never a simple nor easy task, my husband and I found ourselves unexpectedly without a photographer with a little less than 30 days before our wedding. Luckily, I had found Elizabeth’s Instagram a few months before that and knew immediately that I had to reach out to see if she was available for our May 2016 wedding – and thank God she was!
Due to the limited time before our wedding, my husband and I couldn’t shoot with Elizabeth before our wedding, but could fit in a brief meeting over coffee (she was in Hampton Roads, we live in Washington DC). From the very first minute we met, my husband and I bonded with Elizabeth and knew we had made the right choice – not only did her aesthetic match our vision, but her personality and relaxed nature put us at ease and allowed us to open up.
My husband and I always said that we wanted our wedding pictures to look effortless – like an invisible friend was walking alongside us and capturing our most beautiful moments. Elizabeth understood our vision, understood that we weren’t super comfortable in front of a camera, and worked with us every step of the way to get us exactly the shots we envisioned. Elizabeth has such a talent and amazing eye for lighting, backdrops, and flattering angles. Looking at our pictures, it’s hard to believe our wedding day was the first-time Elizabeth had shot us.
Our favorite part of working with Elizabeth is that she fully understood and supported, more than most, our wish to highlight and capture the beginning of our marriage and not just the flashy wedding celebration. It is Elizabeth’s love and respect for marriage that enables her to capture the small, beautiful, and intimate moments between the couples with whom she works.

I grew up with Elizabeth and after finding out she became a photographer I instantly knew once I got engaged that I wanted her to be a part of our special day. She did an amazing job with our engagement session and made it super fun. My husband and I are not photogenic people and are a little camera shy and thought it would be awkward to pose for pictures but Elizabeth didn't make us feel awkward at all. She is super sweet and gets so excited to take pictures of the happy couples. I can see how much she truly loves what she does. Her and her husband did such an awesome job on our wedding day. They captured every moment perfectly and we loved working with them. The pictures from our wedding were absolutely stunning and I got so many compliments on them. I would 110% recommend Elizabeth as your photographer for any occasion! I cannot wait to have her shoot our anniversary pictures in the future.

Elizabeth is absolutely FABULOUS! I asked her to be a significant part of our planning process, in relation to scheduling out our wedding day and the order of events, etc. She went above the call of duty, meeting with my now husband and I are several occasions both at the venues and outside of them (coffee shops, yay!) to look at photo opportunities, transitions, and any way to make the day/evening run smoothly. In the end, it went off without a hitch and Elizabeth and her team were a key element to making that happen. Her personality shines when working with her clients and our bridal party felt completely comfortable with her. She stuck to our plan and knew that we wanted to find a balance between maximizing our photos with the limited sunlight after our ceremony, while also getting to the venue and joining our families and guests for cocktail hour (we did NOT want to miss out on all of that fun!).
