I found Eileen Smith Events on Wedding Wire and I am so glad I did! We had a bit of a special circumstance where we had multiple events and were hosting one of the large receptions on behalf of the groom and his family. This event closes out a long list of events amongst Pakistani Muslim weddings. As fun as it is, it is a lot of work to have so many events! We tried planning things on our own, but we needed help to bring the details together, especially on the day of. Initially, we thought about hiring ESE just for the day of the event, but as we got to talking, we realized Eileen and Cassie would be a great help in the planning stages as well. The bride had her own event to plan, and the groom enlisted his siblings and parents to assist with this event, but we still needed the expertise that only comes with a seasoned wedding planner.

While the venue was already booked and the overall vision decided, ESE helped us bring it all together and make it a little more special. Eileen and Cassie were readily available via email, communicative, listened to the needs, set up meetings as needed to stay organized, and most importantly were willing to learn about our culture and traditions so everything aligned. They were always willing to come up with new ideas if we felt that something didn’t fit and iterate on it as a team. I couldn’t have asked for a better team and partners to make things come together and the bride and groom were so happy with the result!

They worked so well with the venue staff, organized everything to align with our requests, and executed the event flawlessly. We had some last-minute (I am talking AT the event last minute) adjustments that had to be done and they were game too which was SO appreciated. We have 2 more brothers in line to get married and would not hesitate to hire Eileen Smith Events again for sure!

I highly recommend Eileen Smith Events (ESE) to guide you through the process of hosting your event. We used ESE for a wedding weekend which required selecting many vendors. Her prior experience was invaluable as we did not worry about making bad choices – recognizing it is hard to make those choices when you do it only once! Eileen executes your vision, resulting in a personalized experience. She will host as many planning meetings as you need and her “day of” execution allows you to sit back and enjoy the event.

Eileen was amazing as our wedding planner / month-of coordinator. Both my husband and I were SO glad we hired her. Eileen helped us make so many decisions during the planning process that led to an extremely smooth wedding day - from where the bar was located to how we processed down the aisle, from whether to do cake or a dessert bar, to when champagne was poured - she really nailed it. She also worked with all of our vendors to coordinate setup and was onsite to help make sure everything was set up correctly & as planned. Everyone jokes that something *always* goes wrong on your wedding day, no matter how much you plan, but really we had nothing go wrong thanks to Eileen! She made our day stress-free!

It's also important to call out that our venue wedding coordinator quit a couple of weeks before our wedding, and Eileen stepped up and swooped in to make sure our new point of contact at the venue was fully up-to-speed. Thank god for Eileen! I highly recommend her. And if you're on the fence about needing a wedding coordinator -- just take the leap! SO SO worth it.

Eileen was so helpful from start to finish planning our wedding. She was very responsive and her attention to detail meant things we never would have considered were attended to. Highly recommend!

Eileen worked with me, my fiancé, and his family (we had our wedding at the family home) for more than a year, and the result was the most magical day of our lives. One thing that we love about Eileen is her ability to bring calm into even the most frenzied situations. She worked tirelessly to make our wedding the most special day - and we also credit her for giving us perfect weather! [It rained up until a few hours before the ceremony, when it turned into a gorgeous late summer day. Coincidence? We think not. Planning a farm wedding is more complex than people realize, planning an upscale farm wedding during the middle of a pandemic is beyond anything I could have handled alone! Eileen made it all so seemless, not missing a single detail, and on the night of the event, she was like a magician!
I can't express enough how much I appreciated how well she handled every curveball, plan change and of course the inevitable mood swings that come with wedding planning. She's a sweetheart and an amazing resource who has the patience of a saint with the organizational skills of a 5 star general.

While this year has been a challenge for a wedding, Eileen was with us all the way. Her calm demeanor and understanding was exactly what we needed. She is professional and meticulous down to the final detail in organizing our wedding.
