It has taken me a minute because life moves so quick after you get married. SHANNON was excellent and she was very helpful with every detail. We had about 55 guests and all were pleased with ambiance, food and the cake. I wouldn't recommend for younger couples, this has a very mature and relaxed ambiance, and is a smaller venue. My husband and I are 43 and our youngest guest was 30. That being said EVERYONE had a great time and Rick our DJ kept it moving and also kept us on track the whole night.

We held our rehearsal dinner at East Bay CC. Shannon was probably the best vendor we worked with for our wedding. She replied promptly to all our emails, and she was flexible with our decisions. We were hesitant with our wedding planning—we live in Missouri...our wedding was in Florida. Had to take a leap of faith with many vendors, and Shannon was a home run!
The venue was great. Plenty of space for our group. We had our own bar and restrooms. Clean, large room. Food they served was pretty good (we had several appetizers, 2 entrees, sides, and an open bar. All the servers were positive and helpful. The price was very reasonable, and Shannon allowed us to customize our meal plan.
To show you how good of a person Shannon is, and why I 100% recommend this venue is we got married in Florida in July. Ok the beach. It rained every day we were there. 50-50 chance we would be able to do a beach wedding. Shannon volunteered her club as a backup if it was raining. She was willing to do that for us! How fantastic is that? Luckily, our sunset wedding was perfect, and we didn’t need her venue, but it’s definitely the thought that counts.
East Bay Country Club provided us the perfect backdrop for our rehearsal dinner. I’m sure they would do the same for every other couple.

East Bay Country Club is a hidden gem in Largo, Florida. We had quite an intimate reception due to the fact that my husband and I are from two different countries and our Florida wedding mainly involved my side of the family. We didn't want a large ballroom so the events center at East Bay was perfection! I cannot express how stress-free planning this wedding was - Shannon is AMAZING! She takes care of all of the decorations and even encouraged me to bring in some personal touches that she put around the venue for me. With the all-inclusive wedding package you get the venue (outside ceremony gazebo and inside reception), a cake, DJ, Photographer, Minister, Lighting and Sound, drinks, and food (either buffet or plated). Shannon even matches the chair sashes and napkins with your unique color scheme. It was the perfect venue for our wedding!

Shannon was amazing!! She made sure everything was flawless!! I worked on my decorations for almost two years and handed them off to her and she knew exactly how I wanted everything. I could have asked for anything better!!

I absolutely love this place, I'm not married yet, but I feel so comfortable talking to Christine, she is always willing to help me with anything she can. I can't wait to see how everything turns out.

Mike helped us with all our needs he was absolutely amazing as well as his staff!

Very professional, answered all questions I had. Food was great. Listened to all your needs and made everything work.

After reading the above, shall we say negative "observations" of the ceremony and reception on 9/7/13, my first response was to "leave it". But as those words continued to sink in, I feel compelled to counter with my own experience at the very same lovely occasion.

First and foremost, to leave such a critique of a young couple's day-of-all-days, carefully orchestrated to be their personal wedding victory is, in a word, unthinkable. This type of thought process just casts a shadow in our culture, and you were right to post this critique anonymously.

Secondly, this wedding was nothing short of lovely...in a beautiful setting in the couple's venue of choice. If they opted against a rehearsal and to proceed in a casual format, that was their choice -- and theirs only. I personally found it refreshing and uniquely "Florida". The staff at the Country Club were responsive and the service was superb. I, too, sat at a family table and every small request was honored expediently. This wedding was carefully thought out, layered with true meaning and emotion, complete with small tokens of loved ones who have passed to represent their presence.

I suppose if a guest is so focused on finding fault, all this would escape them. This occasion was beautiful! The food was great! Music was wonderful, and selected to please all generations present. The dance floor was never empty! I personally traveled far to be present for this wedding and it did not disappoint. The absolute bliss of the bride and groom outshined everything -- I could think of nothing else!! Job well done!!!

Please think twice before raining down gloom and criticism on another's wondrous occasion in the future. And I will SIGN my name....

Beautiful outside wedding ceremony. Very organized and easy. All of my guests said that this was one of the best weddings that they have ever attended. We purchased the ultimate wedding package which is worth it. You get the ceremony, the alcohol, the food, the appetizers, the cake, the dj, all the linens and photographer included. Basically all you have to do is show up. The food was amazing and the cake was to die for. I really had a great time. The bartenders always had a drink ready for me and were very tentative to all my needs and my guests needs. I would recommend this place 100%. I think that Mike and his staff go above and beyond.
