e b hall photography is a wedding photography company based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Founder and photographer Emily Buttarrazi Hall has the personal touch couples seek in a photographer. The photographer wants to capture every couple’s story in a way that brings each wedding day back to life just by looking at a photograph. She does so with passion that is visible in her energetic work.

Experience

Emily Buttarrazi has been passionately pursuing her calling as a photographer ever since 2011. Since then, she has been capturing special moments in weddings that clearly illustrate each couple’s story, energy and individuality. Her sincerest passion is for photojournalism, which fuels her desire to tell a story.

Emily did a fabulous job with our wedding and was beyond flexible in a nightmare-ish situation. I was scheduled to have a beach wedding and it fell through due to a closure at the state park during Hurricane Hermine. Emily traveled to us and made our pictures happen under incredibly strange circumstances. She was professional and levelheaded even though everything was chaotic.

Emily's photography services for our wedding were fantastic. Emily was super flexible but always on the ball. I never felt like she was in the way, but always knew she was there, and trusted that she was capturing the best moments of our day. Looking back on the photos, I was right to trust that instinct! Emily photographed my hair/makeup at the salon the morning of our event. Not having a wedding party, it was great to have Emily with me at the salon for another set of eyes on the stylists' work and to capture great shots of the experience, and for great company. She tagged along with me through the wedding prep, checking up on my husband and his preparations as well, orchestrated a smooth and stress-free family portrait session, and then stuck around all through the reception. During the family session, Emily did a great job 'reading the room' and didn't keep us too long or try too many poses, which I'm thankful for, as that was one thing my husband was a little concerned about going in. Her laid-back but efficient approach and skillful eye resulted in a large quantity of high quality of photos and the 'look' was just right for our taste. My husband and family and I highly recommend Emily for any wedding or similar event! You won't be disappointed!

I think a lot of the planning process had my us feeling helpless and confused. Thankfully, insert Emily <3 <3 <3!!!

She was able to give us all sorts of ideas and then work with us to help focus the ones we liked to maximize our photo time after the ceremony. Beyond the wedding we also used her for the days leading up to the ceremony, we had a destination wedding and wanted to really capture the entire experience. Boy are we glad we did. The pictures she captured from the entire celebration were absolutely incredible.

Last but not least beyond being professional, flexible, knowledgeable, and talented the thing we loved most about her was her energy. During a time that can be stressful, she had a very calming and easygoing energy that is exactly what we needed.

Such a great time working with her!!!!

EB Hall Phitography was great. There was no stress whatsoever with Emily there and our photos were awesome! Emily was able to capture all of the moments that we would have missed otherwise with our guests. Emily was so easy to work with and she knew exactly the pictures to take and when to take them. We highly recommend her as she truly is a professional and it is because of EB Hall Photography that our memories will last a lifetime.

We had ebhall photography for our wedding in 2011 and were so happy with the outcome! Not only was Emily professional and organized, but her fun and easy-going personality put everybody at ease. We were so happy with our experience that we continue to call on her for family photos and other events. She is spot on every time!

The most important thing for me when hiring a photographer is to have someone that not only has exceptional photography skills but can handle the social setting. One of Emily's greatest attributes is her ability to assimilate into any environment she is placed in. She picks up quickly on how an event is going and has no problem with socializing and being the kind of photographer people enjoy having at their special occasion. I feel that her skills in talking with people often brings out amazing moments which somehow she ends up capturing in her very skillful photos. Emily puts herself right into the moment of all the work that she does which is why her work continues to impress so many. I recommend her for any occasion without any reservation.

Emily was such a joy to work with! We had to change our date and Emily was so flexible, accommodating, and completely understanding. We got married in the Outer Banks and the travel was neither a hinderance nor a bother to Emily. She showed up on our wedding day with a calm, smiling attitude. She let us be us while she photographed our event. Our photos show our love and laughter in a very natural way, no forced posing or smiling. We loved Emily so much that we continued to work with her for our maternity shoot and newborn photo shoot. She is always looking to improve and takes our feedback seriously with complete grace! I have truly enjoyed working with Emily and will continue to do so as our family grows!

Emily was amazing. The perfect combination of highly professional and easy going which was perfect for our intimate military wedding on the beach. We only had a couple of months to plan our wedding and Emily made it so easy for us. She caught the most beautiful images and did it all while allowing the day to flow effortlessly. She gives helpful instruction and works quickly and efficiently. We can't thank her enough for capturing moments we'll treasure forever.
