Dorris Riggs Catered my wedding reception and I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANYMORE SATISFIED! she understood and catered to everything I asked. the Food was wonderful and everyone working for her was great. Mrs. Dorris is the nicest lady I have ever spoken with and I don't think anyone could have made my night more special. Her daughter was there to help through everything and they both made me feel so comfortable. I can honestly say, Dorris Riggs Catering provided the finishing the finishing touches to my fairy Tale Wedding! I would recommend and already have, to anyone in need of catering services!

Doris Riggs catered my daughter's wedding and we were very satisfied. We felt that all our catering needs were met.The food tables were very pretty and the staff working with her were very professional.I would recommend Doris Riggs Catering to my family and friends.

Overall, we were satisfied with Doris Riggs Catering. For the price, I doubt that we would have found a better menu. Our guests kept telling us how wonderful the food was. However, we specifically asked that we have a private dinner upstairs in the bridal suite. While the food was brought to us, it was brought up an hour early, and therefore it was cold. My parents also said that by the time they went to get some food, most of it had been picked over. Whey they asked if there was more food, they were told that there was, but they never saw it. Later in the evening, someone approached my mom asking if she had to go boxes. She gave them a funny look and they suggested that she drive to Walmart and get some. We didn't feel like it was our responsibility to get boxes for leftover food when they were supposed to include that in the price.

Again, it could have been a lot worse, but it does stick out in my mind.

We used Doris Riggs Catering for my daughters wedding last weekend. We had been to other wedding receptions she has catered and this is why we chose her. To say I am dissatisfied is an understatement. Doris Riggs did not come, but sent her daughter instead, who had no leadership ability. I ordered enough food for 290 people and there were 250 at the reception that actually...maybe got any food. The food table was EMPTY most of the time...we had to tell them 3 times to put out food...food ran out and what was there was not served hot. Her staff was lazy and just stood around looking lost. I am not a high demand person, but when you are hosting you expect and should receive service. I would not recommend using this caterer because I have tried to contact her to remedy the situation without any response. My advice is spend a little bit more money by hiring another caterer, get your expectations on both sides in writing and designate someone at the reception to stay on top of things. This was the only aspect of the whole wedding and reception that I am dissatisfied about and if you heed my words, it will save you a lot of grief.
