We booked DJ MOJOE for our September wedding and he did such an amazing job! He is so thorough and goes over everything in detail with you so that you are comfortable with it all. He also brings the energy and reads the room. It was good vibes all around! Our guests complimented us multiple times on our DJ and we even had a couple guests follow him on social media in hopes of booking him for future events they might have. Our main concerns leading into the event prior to booking DJ MOJOE were making sure our wedding flowed, he paid attention to the songs we liked and played them, a good MC, good transitions between songs, and making sure the sound didn’t go out during our ceremony. We had been to weddings where the speaker had over heated during the ceremony and the sound went out, people were waiting around for the next event during the reception, and a wedding where the bride mentioned the DJ barely played any songs she put on her playlist. Our wedding was at Green Gables where the company Trademark provided a set DJ list to choose from ranging between different prices. If you are on the fence about spending the money on DJ MOJOE or going for a cheaper DJ……DO IT. SPLURGE! SPLURGE! SPLURGE! My dad is a business man, and directly after the wedding he said, “the DJ was worth every dime and he was super professional”. Being someone who often DJs friends dance parties or special events for fun it was super important to me to have a good DJ. My dads also one request within the wedding planning was a good DJ and MC — DJ MOJOE killed both! We went to two weddings directly following our wedding, and everyone was complementing us on our DJ and song choices. They all said that our wedding was the most they had danced at a wedding! Once the dancing started you would look around, and not a single person was sitting down no matter their age. We were both super impressed by how professional he was, how punctual he was with emails, his MC skills, and his transitions between songs. He kept the crowd engaged no matter their age. He even made us a video of pictures of us from childhood to adulthood with pictures showing our relationship as well (he pulled this together in less than a week! Wow!). He made recommendations to throw a football with the garter, group tunnel for walk-ins to the reception while shouting off all of the names (we had 12 groomsmen and bridesmaids), and showing the video of us during the reception. DJ Mojoe scheduled 2 meetings with us prior to the wedding to ensure the time line was correct, and that we were on the same page of when we wanted each song to be played. For example: choosing which songs to play while going down the aisle, etc.. He was extremely professional and made all of our preferences and song choices come true!

We got married 9/24/22- and we had the pleasure of having DJ Mojoe as our DJ and MC! He literally came to our rescue since our original dj canceled on us the week before our wedding- but it was a blessing in disguise. DJ Mojoe was one of our most favorite vendors we booked, and we wished we got to work with him longer! His pre-wedding meetings are extremely thorough, and we loved his custom mobile app where we could upload all of our must play songs for the evening! It really made us way more at ease knowing that he got our vibe and would be able to play music that would be perfect for us and our guests. His DJ setup is absolutely amazing with the lights and his dj table with a screen that he’s able to project pictures of the bride and groom! The entire experience is totally custom and makes you feel like an all star! We received so many compliments on the music from our guests- there was always a crowd on the dance floor! We are huge Disney and pop culture nerds- and he mixed in some Disney/Mario/Nintendo sounds and songs which gave everyone a big laugh and made it so personal to us! I would highly recommend dj mojoe! You won’t regret it!

Booked DJ Mojoe for our wedding at Tivoli in Fallbrook, CA. It was a Trademark Venue and they had a list of preferred DJs to look through and that is how we found DJ Mojoe. He was actually the first and only DJ we interviewed and I’m so glad we went with him for our big day. Right off the bat from his wedding website you can tell that he knows how to get the party started. It was always easy communicating with Joe and he got our wedding timeline so perfectly that even the though our wedding didn’t go 100% according to plan, it still felt like the perfect night. His MC style was also great. He was able to announce things with the right tone and humor, it was just so amazing. All our guests loved Joe and we can’t wait to have him again for future events. Book him! You will not regret it!

We knew DJ Mojoe was a true professional from the start when we booked him, but the experience he created for us on our wedding day was above and beyond anything we could have ever expected. DJ Mojoe operates on another level. He flew all the way from California to Virginia for our wedding. Our wedding venue was at a farm and barn, and he and his assistant Darren were able to set up in such a seamless and effortless manner despite having to hand-carry all their equipment and having to DJ in a rustic outdoor setting. He mixed our entire personalized playlist – quite a feat! The equipment and lighting are super high-tech and modern, and the sound was the perfect volume. The transitions were as smooth as butter, and he was able to choose the perfect songs for the perfect moments. He orchestrated the vibe and energy of the entire day like a master-level conductor, from the beautiful quiet moments during our ceremony to keeping our guests extra hyped and energetic during our reception and dance, all the way to the last minute. His voice is the perfect radio voice and added that much more magic to the experience. Nothing ever felt forced at any moment, even with the sudden interruptions and announcements for the surprise events we planned with him behind the scenes. It was such a pleasure to work with and meet DJ Mojoe and we feel lucky that he played such an important role in making our dream day so special.
