We were absolutely impressed from the very beginning. His attention to detail is truly next level, and as someone who is very type A, I especially appreciated that he used the DJ Vibo planning app, it made the entire process feel organized, seamless, and even fun.
Throughout the whole experience, we completely trusted his expertise. He offered thoughtful input not just on how to celebrate us, but on how to bring all of our loved ones together. These were things we hadn’t even fully considered, and his perspective on inclusivity and creating the best possible experience for everyone made such a difference.
The music quality was insane, and he kept the dance floor packed all night with guests of all ages. He also has a natural charisma that elevated the entire atmosphere and kept the energy high from start to finish.
We received so many compliments from our guests all night—one of our cousins literally said, “YO, THIS DJ IS LIT,” which honestly says it all. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ/Emcee!

DJ Mojoe was an absolute gem, and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the moment we started looking for a DJ, we knew we wanted someone who was personable, proactive, and could anticipate our needs without needing constant instructions—and DJ Mojoe was all of that and more.
Throughout the planning process, he was incredibly responsive and guided us every step of the way. His app was a game-changer, helping us understand every little detail of the wedding timeline and giving us peace of mind that nothing would be overlooked.
As an MC, DJ Mojoe kept everything running smoothly and organized. We received so many compliments on how our wedding was the most “un-chaotic” people had ever attended, and that’s all thanks to his clear communication and expertise. He gave perfect instructions and kept everything on track, which allowed us to enjoy the day without any stress.

We booked DJ MOJOE for our September wedding and he did such an amazing job! He is so thorough and goes over everything in detail with you so that you are comfortable with it all. He also brings the energy and reads the room. It was good vibes all around! Our guests complimented us multiple times on our DJ and we even had a couple guests follow him on social media in hopes of booking him for future events they might have. Everyone especially enjoyed our dinner playlist! We had people asking us to send the playlists to them. He is 100% worth it and he also has such a great personality! Very easy to work with and I didn’t stress about anything on the wedding day because of how organized and thorough he was. I have been to multiple weddings where I personally felt the DJ wasn’t engaging enough but DJ MOJOE did not disappoint. We would definitely recommend him! -

Spectacular DJ!
DJ MOJOE was absolutely incredible and we were so lucky to have him for our June 2023 wedding! He was the very first vendor we booked and from our initial consultations, his professionalism and passion helped us feel comfortable and confident to book him. Leading up to our wedding, he gave us suggestions and insight we needed to make our wedding experience so much better! He took the time to get to know us and understand our musical tastes. He was willing to put in the extra time to meet with us through Zoom a week before our wedding to finalize everything and made sure we had everything we needed and wanted to happen on our special day. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early to set up and ensure everything was running smoothly for our ceremony. He was also a fantastic MC, making announcements and keeping the evening on track. Our guests raved about his charisma on the mic and his performance on the DJ set. DJ MOJOE is a true professional and helped make our special day unforgettable! Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented and charming DJ for their event! -

The perfect DJ for an ultimate custom experience!
We got married 9/24/22- and we had the pleasure of having DJ Mojoe as our DJ and MC! He literally came to our rescue since our original dj canceled on us the week before our wedding- but it was a blessing in disguise. DJ Mojoe was one of our most favorite vendors we booked, and we wished we got to work with him longer! His pre-wedding meetings are extremely thorough, and we loved his custom mobile app where we could upload all of our must play songs for the evening! It really made us way more at ease knowing that he got our vibe and would be able to play music that would be perfect for us and our guests. His DJ setup is absolutely amazing with the lights and his dj table with a screen that he’s able to project pictures of the bride and groom! The entire experience is totally custom and makes you feel like an all star! We received so many compliments on the music from our guests- there was always a crowd on the dance floor! We are huge Disney and pop culture nerds- and he mixed in some Disney/Mario/Nintendo sounds and songs which gave everyone a big laugh and made it so personal to us! I would highly recommend dj mojoe! You won’t regret it! -

DJ MOJOE is best and no one comes close! After watching him DJ and MC for my sister's wedding, we just HAD to book him for ours and he was the best for SO many reasons. It's pretty simple, once you know what day your event is I'd highly recommend booking him ASAP (or maybe even move your event to a day he's available).
1. PREPARATION
DJ MOJOE is a professional who really cares about his clients. In preparation for our wedding, he made sure to understand what our wants and needs for the event were. We had two video calls in which we felt he provided a personal touch, gave a lot of good feedback, and went over a lot of details that even we hadn't thought of but made such a big difference the day of the event.
The planning process was very organized, and fun, especially with the help of his easy to use app. DJ MOJOE is very versatile with his knowledge of music so he was able to pick our genres and vibes that fit our personal tastes.
He has great attention to detail. During the preparation process he went the extra mile to understand the correct phonetic pronunciation of each person's name.
Lastly, the overall setup of the reception area was flawless and really set the vibe for the entire event. He made sure that speakers were set in optimal locations so that all guests would be able to hear the music and the lighting was great all around!
2. PERFORMANCE
Picking the right DJ/MC can really set the mood/vibe for your wedding and we're so glad we chose DJ MOJOE. On the day of our wedding, he ensured that everything ran smoothly: from optimizing the setup, to coordinating with our performers, to ensuring that things ran on schedule.
He connected so well with our guests and seemed to always know the right thing to say or the right song to play at the right moment. We had a lot of sentimental, funny, and hyped moments and DJ MOJOE helped make each of those moments special.
3. PRICE
For the high level of professional preparation and performance that DJ MOJOE provides, choosing him is really a no-brainer. He's worth every penny and even if he raised his prices, I would choose him for my event over and over.

We just had our backyard wedding this weekend and DJ Mojoe hit it out of the park! He is resourceful and knew what to do when we only had one power outlet for him to use. The music still pumped like it was a dance club at midnight.
Planning with him was a breeze because of his online questionnaire and planner that transferred all the information we were storing on Google docs, spreadsheets, and my head all in one organized planner. He knew to ask the right questions about logistics, producing sound quality, and how to work with other vendors and staff.
The Night ran late because our mass and ceremony went longer than expected but he knew how to course correct and manage the timeline with new parameters he was given. His transitions for music and for speeches were excellent and went smoothly.
The Dance Party! Though limited to 30 minutes due to neighborhood quiet hours he put on the best dance session I've ever had! Surrounded by family and friends we were dancing to Our favorite choices of 2000s dance music. He kept it lively and raucous as our dancing climaxed before quiet hours hit. Then quieted it down at our request for quiet hours.
He provided great direction and announcements to make sure crowd control was orderly and everyone knew where to go at the end of the night!
We are so happy we chose DJ Mojoe for our wedding because his organization, professionalism, and instinct for a good party were all in full force on our wedding day. Keep up the party DJ Mojoe! -

Three Words: BEST DJ EVER!!!!!!!!!
A couple of things define a Successful Wedding Reception – Food, Open Bar, Flowers/Décor, and MUSIC.
I am a very particular and extremely picky person – so picky that I opted not to have a Wedding Planner and planned the entire Wedding by myself (“if you want something done well, do it yourself” type-of-mentality). I went through a whole vetting process before booking any of my Vendors and I am so glad that I picked Joe as our Wedding DJ!
Out of everything that I had to plan, Music was by far the EASIEST portion!
The entire process was seamless from beginning to end. Joe’s Planning App is super easy to use and convenient, as you can make all of your Wedding Song Selections in one place (Processional, Grand Entrance, First Dance, etc…). You can even add Song Requests (as many as you want) for the Dancing portion of the Reception, as well as add any Special Instructions or Notes. DJ MOJOE also has Spotify Playlists for every portion of the Wedding (Recessional, Cake Cutting, Garter Removal, etc..), which were super helpful when it came down to song selections. Once you’re done selecting everything, he goes over every detail with you and makes sure that all of your (and his) questions are answered. Communication-wise, Joe was very responsive and easy to reach. Anytime I had a question, I would text him and get an immediate response.
DJ MOJOE also offers Lighting “services” and did our Uplights – those totally set the mood to our Reception Ballroom and tied in very well with our Wedding Theme and Décor. You can see for yourself in the pictures!
Now on to the actual Wedding Day…
The Vibes were IMMACULATE.
The song choices played during the Dinner portion of the Reception were perfectly selected. I remember just writing “Chill Vibes” in his Planning App because I didn’t know what else to put and DJ MOJOE UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! My entire Wedding Party (myself included) were grooving and vibin’ to the music while enjoying our dinner.
Joe was also a great MC! He had a very calming voice and made sure to highlight all of the extra little things we offered to our guests throughout the evening, such as our Photobooth, Boba Bar, Dessert Table, and Late-Night Bites.
A talented DJ is a DJ that can read the crowd and play songs that everybody dances to – and DJ MOJOE is definitely one of those…
My guest list was made of both young and old folks; and Joe made sure there was something for everyone. He changed the genre of music based on the vibe of the crowd and even included Mashups of old classic songs mixed with today’s top hits – everyone loved those!
When I tell you that my dance floor was NEVER empty from the moment Dancing started till the VERY END of the night, I am in no way exaggerating… DJ MOJOE ROCKED MY DANCE FLOOR and my guests LOVED him! So much so that they asked for an “Encore” and wanted to keep the party going even after the reception was over! Loool! A few of my guests even went as far as tipping him themselves because that’s how much they loved his work!
Overall, Joe did an AMAZING job! I would 1000% recommend him to anyone planning a Wedding and I will recommend him over and over again to all of my friends and family that need a DJ for an event!
Our Wedding Day was PERFECT, and he played a big part in it…

Okay, I will be honest, my husband took the reigns in terms of finding a DJ - and boy did he deliver. DJ Mojoe is CRITICAL if you want your wedding to run smoothly, professionally, and especially if you want your wedding to be the most fun night of your life (and your guests lives for that matter). DJ Mojoe is a professional in every sense of the word. He is incredibly thorough regarding your vision during every step of the planning process from ceremony to grand exit. He scheduled zoom calls leading up to the wedding, and gave us access to this incredible interactive app, as well as checked in with us during our engagement to answer any questions. His preparation on the front-end made the wedding itself seamless (and a party!). From the moment the dance floor opened to the last dance, our dance floor was packed and lively. Joe had ample equipment for the entire day to make the transitions from ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and grand exit while videoing the entire day. He stayed until 3am helping my family take down the venue and had a video of our wedding posted to his social media by 10 the next morning. Many of our guests said that our wedding was the best one they had ever been too especially because of our fantastic DJ - and they're right, Joe is the best. Without a doubt, hands down, DJ MoJoe is worth every penny. He was easy to work with, his website that allows you to put everything together beforehand even helped us plan things we forgot on our part. He is quick to respond and very polite.
For our wedding, my wife and I received numerous compliments on our DJ as he kept the party going all night long with a great blend of regular club music and Spanish music for our 200+ guests that loved his vibe! Trust us, your money will be well worth it with him! -

What can we say about DJ MoJoe?!...he was a GREAT MC and DJ!!! He really took to time to understand our likes and dislikes in regards to our style of music. He was so smooth the day of and kept the wedding and the party going! He brought great entertainment for our wedding and helped make it the unforgettable day that it was...from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception and after party, it truly was an EPIC wedding and DJ MoJoe played a big part in that! We booked DJ Mojoe for a wedding in January 2019, with about 170 guests. From the very beginning, Joe was a pleasure to work with! Joe was open to phone calls, e-mails, and text messages to figure out all the logistics needed to be discussed – and let us tell you, it was the easiest decision we made. After booking, Joe had us complete a very easy (yet detailed) questionnaire online to really find the perfect fit of music for our wedding. After completing it, we discussed some more and BAM everything was set.
At our wedding, Joe served as the master of ceremonies, and made sure everything went according to plan. From the ceremony itself, to the cocktail hour, to the reception – Joe was there creating the best and most relaxed environment we could ask for. Then, came the party! Joe stayed right on pace, reading our crowd perfectly, and playing each song deliberately – all while keeping the crowd pumped up and moving! It was truly an event we will never forget – and a big part of it turning out the way it did, was DJ Mojoe.
Thank you, Joe. Not only for what you did for us during our wedding day, but for being a spectacular professional the days leading up to the wedding. We appreciate you very much!

DJ MOJOE is exactly what we were looking for when it came to picking a DJ. Music was a huge theme for our wedding and Joe brought our wedding to life in so many unique ways with his DJ skills, his epic MCing, his uplighting for our outdoor reception (highly recommend by the way)...the list goes on. What we loved most is how Joe worked to understand the theme/vibe we were looking for and made that vision a reality. Honestly it felt like a dream. Hats off to Joe for not only being incredibly reliable and organized, but also for being flexible and working with us to execute a few unique ideas we came up with together. For instance, we had an idea after the first dance, to invite other newlywed couples up to the dance floor by playing little snippits from their first dances. Joe was able to deliver on this and then some and we received a ton of complements from our guests. -

DJ MOJOE - Joe Rivera did an absolute amazing job at our wedding. He supplied the ceremony music for our outdoor ceremony and had a separate indoor area (small and classy) for our indoor reception. We could not be happier with his ability to capture the crowd and what music they are feeling all with including our style and song preferences (if you choose to provide them). His online portal system is seem-less and makes it an absolute breeze to navigate through what song choices you'd like for what, or even what you would like to exclude. He is reliable, suggests things to you as a couple that you may want to do or not do which you find so helpful during a time when you are really trying to piece so many vendors and details together. Many of our guests complimented us and him on how well of a job he did. Lastly we chose to bring in uplighting for our indoor reception space and it was magical. Thank you Joe for making our Big Day a true celebration and so much fun! -

You should work with people you like. We really liked DJ MoJoe. He was always calm and humble, but had a lot of energy and kept things fun. Not only is he a great DJ, but a really awesome person.
I’ll break it down on how he was an amazing DJ for our wedding:
Pre-event: Ok, so before we hired DJ MoJoe, we talked to him over the phone. It was a great conversation as he told us his philosophy on his services, which is to make sure everyone is having fun. Also, there was no pressure. We even mentioned how we spoke with this other DJ, and Joe was complimentary of the other DJ even though he knew that he was competing with him for our services. That truly shows his character. After the phone call, we scheduled an in-person meeting, and he was just as nice and humble as he was during the phone call. Before the event, we had another consultation to go over the details of what was to come which was also so helpful.
Organization: If you want a well-organized DJ that takes off the stress from wedding planning, hire DJ MoJoe. My wife and I were so impressed with his electronic scheduler, electronic playlist and event timeline creator and just all the technology that he used to make sure he had all the details from the songs we like to the reception schedule to how to pronounce everyone’s name. And if we ever wanted to speak with him, we could always call him or schedule a time to speak through his electronic scheduler.
Equipment: You can really tell, he uses the best equipment. The sound equipment was of great quality. One thing my wife and I were debating about was uplighting. Our venue did it and so did Joe. We went with Joe and glad we did. He was able to change it to match the mood, which really made the party fun. Also, he had access to the TVs around the reception area and played various clips of videos which also added to the atmosphere.
Actual Event: My family and friends love to party, and with DJ MoJoe, that is what we did. Not only was he an amazing DJ that played all the music we love (which is pretty diverse), but his MC skills really helped make the event go smoothly and kept everyone energized. The floor always had people dancing and he just really seemed to know what music to play at what time. We had a money dance and he helped time each dance with each person, which was very helpful. Also, we appreciated the small details like him getting to know the other vendors, which added to the harmony of the event and matching his outfit with the theme of our wedding.
So many of our guests complimented how much fun they had and specifically mentioned DJ MoJoe. Do yourself a favor and make your party a great one with DJ MoJoe.

DJ Joe was amazinggg for our recent wedding. From constant contact throughout the process, he was so thorough with every detail up until the very event. For any questions, he would up with different suggestions on how we could make it better and make the night our own. The night of our wedding went exactly how we would have wanted and everything was so smooth! When it came to dancing, for the amount of different age groups we had there was not an empty spot on the dance floor. Both my husband and I highly recommend Joe! -

My family likes to get buck wild so we were very selective on who we picked. We booked Joe and it was one of, if not the best wedding decisions that we had to make. We had our wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch for 285 people a little over a month ago. To this day, im still watching videos over and over and over again of people dancing. His MC skills, equiptment, lighting setup and sound system truly enhanced our wedding reception getting people FROM ALL AGE GROUPS out of their seats and onto the dance floor. We had an early ceremony 3pm with a small break in between, so I figured most people would be tired and leaving by 10. I was wrong, most ppl stayed until the very end. Even at the end, people were sad because they didnt want the party to stop :) Joe seriously made everything flow just perfectly. He is professional, organized, friendly, responsive with all his communication, has an upbeat personality but most importantly, RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY. Our wedding was so memorable and the best day of our lives. Our videographer captured the best footage of people having the time of their lives on the dance floor. And that footage wouldnt have been possible without DJ Mojoe!!!!!! Everybodies worst nightmare is an empty dance floor with boring music. That will not happen it with Joe because customer service and client satisfaction are his number one priority. If you hire him, i can guarantee you wont be disapointed. We love DJ Mojoe! We just had our wedding this past weekend and he was incredible! I wish i could give him more than 5 stars! He is very easy to communicate with and he was very professional. He was able to meet with me before our wedding, which made planning a lot easier and smoother. He made suggestions with the lighting which made our venue so romantic, just like we envisioned. He provided us with his questionnaire, so he can get to know you and your guest and get an idea of the kind of music that you like. My husband and I highly recommend him for any events! He just goes above and beyond!!!! Thank you so much again! You're the best! -

User2923572 Sent on 12/22/2016Our recent holiday party was a big hit and it's a huge thanks to DJ MOJOE! This was our third holiday party for our startup company, and the first time we decided to have a DJ and a dance floor.
At first we were hesitant about even doing so because we weren't sure if people would get up and dance... (we have a few shy people at work) well sure enough, Joe got people to dance. Such a blast dancing and singing along.
We started off with email communication, and it was so easy to keep in contact and gather quotes for the event. His website is easy to use, and I loved seeing the events he previously hosted. It was nice to also be able to include special notes, or song requests as well to his webpage.
Joe was early to set up his equipments, lights, sound, mic, etc. and professional throughout the night. A wonderful highlight was when he included sound effects on the fly, since we didn't get a chance to include everything on the itinerary. We did a few raffles and he included sound effects like from game shows, and it went so well and was hilarious! As well as the songs that were fitting for each presenter/spokes person. The transition from when he MC'd, to the flow of music, to the vibe of everything was on point. Everyone at work kept talking about how great he was and how much of a fun time they had.
From start to finish, I highly recommend Joe. Thank you sooooo much for such a fun memorable time! Definitely will book again. -

DJ MoJoe is fantastic to work with. I was introduced to him at a Bridal Expo in Westlake Village and absolutely loved his sweet, calm personality. My husband and I hired him for our wedding on September 24th. It was fantastic. Everyone agreed that we had the BEST Dj/MC they had ever heard. I gave his number out to 5 of my friends!
