Kristian did a wonderful job for us as a DJ and the MC at our big giant Catholic reception. Kristian was responsive during our planning, unfussy regarding the contract for services, and MC'd well, and played music that everyone enjoyed.
Our reception venue (the Mariner's Church and Banquet Center, which I also recommend) provided us with an outline of the reception schedule ( entrance, introductions, first dance, toasts, etc.). We used that list to give Kristian a blow-by-blow for what special songs to play and what toasts to introduce, etc.
Kristian was comfortable MCing and moving the microphone around the room. He has a clear, friendly but authoritative voice, and kept the toasts on track. He didn't do any of the silly ad-libing that some wedding MCs are notorious for. He played what we asked for regarding the big songs, no mix ups.
For the unscripted part of the evening, we provided Kristian with a list of songs that we did and did not want to hear. Krisitan stuck to it while also selecting songs to suit the mood of the event as the evening went on. The music pleased a large wedding crowd including older relatives, young adult friends, teenagers, and babies. Even the traditionally mopey teenage crowd got up and danced!
Kristian was attired in his signature black suit, black tie and black sunglasses (when he is setting up he wears a he wears a full mechanic suit and then when it's time for the formal affair, boom, like a Bond character, he has the formal suit underneath and is ready to go!).
You would not go wrong hiring him for your wedding.
