DJ Michael

We hired Michael to DJ our summer 2025 wedding. From our first call, Michael was fantastic to work with. He took the time to help us build a playlist and consider all of our song choices for all of the key moments of our ceremony and reception. He met with us before the event to make sure we felt comfortable with everything. On the day of, he handled any last-minute requests and changes without a hitch and his music was the backdrop for an unbelievable dance party to end the night. We highly recommend Michael for your wedding or other event!

Michael was super friendly and helpful right out of the gate. He helped us with music and sound throughout our event, including the ceremony, cocktail hour, toasts, and of course a rocking dance party at the end. Every time we talk to someone about the wedding they all start with how much fun they had, especially dancing!
We relied on Michael heavily in figuring out what songs we needed when, and he merged all our special requests (of which there were many), seamlessly into a night of awesomeness.
The event was on the water in Portland (Dimillos), and when some guests went to their car to change shoes, they encountered a walking tour saying "they wish they could attend that party because it sounded so fun."
Michael is professional, extremely well equipped, has a great sense of music, and is a pleasure to talk to. I can't recommend him enough. I would hire him again every time.

I've known Mike for a long time and have known his reputation as a DJ, so I couldn't have thought of a better DJ to ask to take care of our wedding party. Unsurprisingly, Mike was incredibly professional, efficient, responsive and everything went off without a hitch...it's clear his attention to detail has benefited many of the couples and families whose events he has DJed. It was amazing to have him share in our, our family and our friends' big day together. I would highly recommend Mike for any event at which you need a DJ.

I love to dance so music was one of the top priorities for our wedding! DJ Michael was one of the very first vendors we booked, and he was absolutely amazing! He was communicative, flexible and organized. He provided his own sound system for the ceremony & he MC'd the reception. He made sure to incorporate many of our Spotify playlist requests, and his music selection was spot on. He completely welcomed us into his space and kindly let me jump onto his own board to play a quick set while my husband played live saxophone. It was a dream highlight of our night, and it only happened because Michael is a consummate professional who puts his couples first.
He kept the entire night so groovy, fun, and perfectly tailored to us. Michael brings zero gimmicks—just pure talent, experience, and a wonderful attitude. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

My wife and I came across DJ Michael by a simple google search and his reviews and experience were enough to sell us. We then contacted him and had an opportunity to chat on the phone; he was so excited to get to know us as a couple. He had worked at our venue previously and raved about his experience there which was also a huge bonus for us. Come day of wedding, everything went great! Ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception was everything we could have hoped for. We had such a wonderful experience with DJ Michael and would highly recommend him if you are on the search for a DJ for any event or your special day. I highly recommend Michael as a DJ for any occasion. His song selection kept guests of all ages dancing and singing all night. We had several last-minute performers, including a classical guitarist for the ceremony and a saxophonist during the party, and Michael accommodated them seamlessly. Both musicians remarked on his professionalism and precision. His preparation was thorough, and he met all of our requests with ease. He also referred a photo booth operator, Mike, who was excellent. Michael has DJ’d both of my siblings’ weddings as well. If you’re looking for a DJ for a wedding or an event in the New England area, and Michael is available, you should hire him without hesitation.
