Based in San Diego, California, DJ Evan is a mobile wedding DJ and MC. Before the your big day, he will provide free consultations to learn about your dream wedding. You can count on him to read the crowd and design the ideal atmosphere for your special day. DJ Evan offers a range of genres, including country, pop, R&B, soul, top 40, oldies and jazz.

DJ Evan has been serving couples since 2010. He has provided entertainment for a variety of events, including festivals, house parties and club events. DJ Evan is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in audio production.

The perfect DJ!

DJ Evan was the perfect DJ for our wedding! Even though we had a small group (17 people), we still wanted the music taken care of. We were a bit worried that it might feel awkward with a DJ and not a lot of guests, but that wasn’t the case at all!

DJ Evan blended professionalism and a relaxed vibe like we’ve never seen before. He played all our must have songs at the perfect times. People were dancing and loving the music!

He also provided the best pricing out of all the options we contacted, which was a bonus.

We recommend DJ Evan for your next event!

Professional and fun! Best of both worlds :)

We were originally supposed to get married June 2020 but postponed to June 2021. We hired Evan a few months before our original wedding date. The moment we decided to postpone, I contacted all my vendors to secure the new date and Evan was very responsive and professional about moving the date over.

Leading up to the wedding, we were able to use his online portal to fill in the timeline and choose songs for the program and dance floor. I didn't put a song down for every minute of the cocktail hour/reception, but Evan was able to read the room and the vibe I was going for with the music and chose the perfect songs to match.

He was also in charge of announcements during the program and did an amazing job communicating with the day-of-coordinator and managing the timeline.

Overall, communication was great, the online portal was super simple and easy to use, and the guests had a lot of fun dancing the night away. Thanks, Evan! :)

Excellent wedding DJ

DJ Evan was so easy to work with and very professional. Timely too! We had an event that needed the right DJ and MC and luckily we found DJ Evan. We didn’t give him a lot of instruction or requests, it was more of a music outline, a few songs we loved and he knows music and filled in the rest based on the few we suggested. Great voice for MC as well and just a pleasure to work with.

Dj evan was amazing

My wife and I were EXTREMELY impressed with DJ Evan's dj'ing services! When we first began communicating with him, he was very responsive and thorough in his responses. Once we signed on, we used his online portal to pick most of the songs that we wanted to see played at the ceremony, during cocktail hour, during dinner, and during dancing. On a personal level, my wife and I really like yacht rock, country music, current pop hits, and late 2000s hip-hop music.
Somehow DJ Evan was able to blend all of these tastes into a seamless playlist. Not an easy task! Everyone has a blast (especially during the dancing part of the night) and we were thoroughly impressed with DJ Evan. We would recommend his services to any of our friends getting married if he's available for your wedding date!

Book him book him book him!

Not only was DJ Evan actually affordable (some DJ's are $$$$$$$) but he was awesome! Everyone danced the night away and it was such a fun time! Everyone commented on how well he transitioned the reception and events, and that they loved his music selection. I would definitely recommend booking DJ Evan!

Without a doubt, the easiest and most reliable DJ I have ever worked with! I would invite Evan to any future special event of ours! He is simply the best! I didn’t have one issue or concern from start to finish!

Excellent DJ!

Dj Evan was very professional. It was easy to communicate with him and receive the service we wanted. Even though we didn't meet before our wedding, we were very impressed how he prepared everything. He followed our wedding plan and also watched if our guests were enjoying the party. He changed the music according to the crowd satisfaction.

Evan is amazing!

Evan was an exciting and fun addition to my Father's 85th Birthday party. In fact, I would venture to say that Evan made that party!
We had guests ranging from 2 years old to 85 + years old, and each and everyone had a wonderful time.
He let us choose so many different types of music, and had great in the recommendations of his own.
I cannot imagine having any better, thoughtful, fun service as a DJ at your party then Evan.
Evan, I hope you are available when my Dad turns 90!

Daughters Engagement Party

Evan was a great addition at my daughters Engagement Party. He worked with us to find just the right mix of music to keep our party (and dance floor) going all night long. He was the first of my vendors to show up, set up quickly and was really just super accommodating with our every request. Would highly recommend!

My Wedding


DJ Evan hosted my wedding reception and was a fluid extension of my event, from beginning to end. The music selection he played was customized to us and it was like he knew us, forever. All of my guests were on the dance floor, beginning to end, completely engaged with his expert hosting. I can't thank him enough for making one of the most important days of our lives, perfect.
