Eric was awesome! We’re so happy we hired him as our DJ!! We knew from the start he was going to be amazing, loved his vibe and professionalism. On our initial call he really got to know us asking us questions about our wedding, our music taste and preferences. He worked directly with our wedding planner so everything was seamless for us. Eric came early and stayed late, and also visited our wedding venue beforehand. His set included so many songs from the playlist we shared with him and he also mixed in his own stuff as well which we loved. Would highly recommend!

Eric did an absolutely FANTASTIC job DJ’ing our wedding ceremony and reception. Proof #1: After the wedding, the comment I received most frequently from family and friends after the wedding was, “HOW DID YOU FIND THAT DJ?!?!” Proof #2: It has been a year since the event and when I reflect back, what stands out the most is how much fun my guests, my husband, and I had on the dance floor.

From the first time we met Eric to the wedding day and even after, he was a warm, understanding, supportive, and superbly competent person to work with. He listened to our goals for the wedding and incorporated them fully into the day’s events. He provided sound for our ceremony and reception, and worked seamlessly with other vendors. The dance floor was alive and well throughout the entire reception, as he was able to cater to an extremely multigenerational and multicultural group of guests. Evidence of this is that he played not one, not two, but THREE final songs as guests kept demanding, “One more song! One more song!”

On a separate note: As the wedding day jitters crept in the week prior to the vent, Eric sensed this in me, and kindly assured me that no tweak, change, or hiccup would be too much for him to work with. His response was so calming. Who knew I hired a therapist on top of a DJ?! All in all – HIRE ERIC! His work is flawless: he will run ceremony sound like an exceptionally competent fly on the wall, he ensure that you and your guests have a killer time on the dance floor, and he may even calm your nerves when you least expect it!

Eric is what you want for an after party DJ. His priority was to play what we wanted and to understand our specific taste in House music. Eric video called us before to talk about the set, and we sent him about 4 hours of music. He took the time to go through all of it and did an incredible job mixing things in an absolutely iconic way. Never been to an after party where SO many people were rocking until the end. We had to drag people out at 1:30am. I’ll never ever forget it!

In New York City, there are plenty of DJs that are listed on Wedding Wire and The Knot, and I made it my mission to find someone who was truly spectacular. I am a spin instructor and regularly make playlists / DJ for my classes—needless to say I had very high expectations for my DJ. I wanted someone who has great taste in music, is a charismatic MC, and can read the room well. I was also working with a smaller guest list and guests who really aren't into dancing. During our first conversation, Eric addressed all my concerns and walked me through the different strategies he has at engaging guests and making sure they have a good time. Eric also asked me questions about our venue and our preferences—the level of detail and care he took to run through everything was what convinced me that he was going to be our DJ. I had interviewed 5-7 DJs prior to speaking with Eric and none of them were at the level of professionalism and experience that Eric was at.

Even before we had formally agreed to work with one another, Eric offered to visit the wedding venue with us. He explained that even if we ultimately don’t end up choosing him, he was still interested in getting to know the space in case he had future events there. During this meeting, Eric asked the venue coordinator thoughtful questions and co-created a timeline that would work best for our wedding. The weeks leading up to the wedding, Eric was extremely responsive with any emails I sent him and would offer to chat on the phone if we needed to nail down some more involved details.

On the day of the wedding, Eric arrived early and ran a full sound check prior to our wedding. I was really impressed by Eric’s set up and speakers and the way he mixed the levels made the room feel full. Throughout the night, Eric was an engaging MC and effortlessly made my family and friends feel comfortable. Eric read the room perfectly and completely blew us away by incorporating our must-play songs in the best ways. Everyone kept dancing until we were closed out of the venue. After the wedding, we were told by multiple guests that this was the best / most fun wedding they’ve been to and and couldn’t stop gushing about our DJ.

I honestly cannot thank Eric enough for making all our wedding dreams come true! I have truly scoured through / interviewed the majority of the DJs on the wedding wire and the knot Eric came out on top and wildly exceeded our expectations. Absolutely hire Eric to be your DJ for your event, he is the real deal.

Eric played every genre to accommodate our diverse taste in music and kept our guests moving all day and night. Highly recommended! Don't hesitate!

Eric Visa was not only a superb DJ, but he even acted as a Master of Ceremonies and has a sensational voice and presence. He also facilitated a screen and sound for a last-minute video we had.

Eric made our wedding after party!! He was so easy to work with and defines cool when it comes to his vibe and his music. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and was flexible with timing because PEOPLE WOULD NOT STOP DANCING :)

The best! Music was one of the aspects of our wedding that we cared about the most. After a long search, we found Eric and we're so glad we did! He was such a joy to work with, delivered everything we asked for, and kept everyone dancing all-night long! Not to mention he was a great MC--perfect hype man without being cheesy or annoying. He also looks so awesome in his big top hat. We got so many compliments on the music and we are so thankful to Eric for making our wedding so memorable!

We had heard Eric play a friend's wedding last year and when we were looking for a DJ for our wedding, we thought of him immediately. Eric is just great--he's calm, funny, listens to what you have to say, and knows how to read the room. He even helped us orchestrate our ceremony, which was on a small rooftop. Eric was able to offer easy suggestions about how to make the blocking of the ceremony work, and kind of became the stage director for the ceremony. (Thanks again for that!) Eric is a pro, a nice guy, and knows how to make a dance floor really fun.
