The DJ at a wedding really has a lot of responsibility; to ensure the timing of each different section goes off smoothly, the music fits the crowds mood, that people know what is going on and where to be, it's a LOT to juggle! I was so nervous because I didn't hire a planner but Dave ensured that the whole night went off without a hitch!
He played the music we liked, but also took requests from guests, he tricked the whole wedding into doing the wobble, and even jumped out and danced with us!

I highly recommend Dave Awesome for your event! He was professional, super friendly and one of the nicest people ever, and my guests are still going on and on about him a week later!

DJ Dave was Awesome (pun intended)!!! He was extremely professional, organized and very easy going! Our music was flawless! We held our wedding in Florida but we are from Illinois. He made sure to not just email but to schedule class to ensure he covered every detail we wanted! My favorite part of the night was Dave getting all our guests on the dance floor and keeping them there! (He's also got some great moves home self!) Dave Awesome was just as the name implies, AWESOME! He was on time, friendly and professional! You can tell he loves his job! He even calmed my father down before the ceremony, insuring the day would be flawless. He played all the right music at all the right times and even got the whole wedding party and guests on to the dance floor dancing at once! It was an amazing experience! I would recommend Dave Awesome to a detailed bride any day! We couldn't have have pulled the day off without him!

Dave was just amazing at our wedding reception!!!! We've used him at our Class Reunion and he always delivers a great time. DJ Dave did a spectacular job for our wedding. We are older (early 50's) and had all ages of people attending the wedding. The music was very important to us. Dave listened to what we had discussed & was spot on the entire evening. He moved the flow of the wedding expertly, but not intrusively, and everyone danced from our 70ish parents down to the teenagers. It was a wonderful wedding & all the guests had fun.
