Absolutely awesome!

The DJ at a wedding really has a lot of responsibility; to ensure the timing of each different section goes off smoothly, the music fits the crowds mood, that people know what is going on and where to be, it's a LOT to juggle! I was so nervous because I didn't hire a planner but Dave ensured that the whole night went off without a hitch!
He played the music we liked, but also took requests from guests, he tricked the whole wedding into doing the wobble, and even jumped out and danced with us!

I highly recommend Dave Awesome for your event! He was professional, super friendly and one of the nicest people ever, and my guests are still going on and on about him a week later!

I cannot say enough amazing and awesome things about DJ Dave Awesome!!! He is truly amazing and will go above and beyond to make your special day nothing short of perfect! Great communication and a true professional 100% of the time! Our dance floor was packed the entire night!! You definitely won’t be disappointed with him as your DJ!

DJ Dave Awesome is exactly what his name is...AWESOME. If you are looking for a DJ that keeps the party alive. This is your DJ!!!! HE IS AMAZING! HE KEPT THE PARTY GOING THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE RECEPTION! HE KNOWS HOW TO GET YOU GROOVING! He shows you how to do the dances. He evens join in the dances! I would HIGHLY recommended him. We loved having him!!

DJ Dave Awesome made our wedding truly awesome! We are from out of state and he went above and beyond to make us feel more than comfortable! From the second we booked with him he made sure to find out exactly what we wanted/did not want for the wedding. He is not just a DJ. He is an entertainer and now a dear friend. He tied our whole wedding together with his amazing music and personality! DJ Dave did everything he could in order to make our wedding perfect, not to mention everyone loved him! We highly recommend him!

DJ Dave was Awesome (pun intended)!!! He was extremely professional, organized and very easy going! Our music was flawless! We held our wedding in Florida but we are from Illinois. He made sure to not just email but to schedule class to ensure he covered every detail we wanted! My favorite part of the night was Dave getting all our guests on the dance floor and keeping them there! (He's also got some great moves home self!) I would highly recvomend DJ Dave for you Dj needs!!

Dave Awesome was just as the name implies, AWESOME! He was on time, friendly and professional! You can tell he loves his job! He even calmed my father down before the ceremony, insuring the day would be flawless. He played all the right music at all the right times and even got the whole wedding party and guests on to the dance floor dancing at once! It was an amazing experience! I would recommend Dave Awesome to a detailed bride any day! We couldn't have have pulled the day off without him!

He is VERY personable ! He played our play list EXACTLY and always asked us if it were ok when others made requests.. he is a true professional in every sense of the word and makes for a wonderful wedding DJ..

Dave was just amazing at our wedding reception!!!! We've used him at our Class Reunion and he always delivers a great time. He gets people up and dancing, he shows them the moves and everyone just had a great time at our wedding. I loved that he took time to get to know me and my husband and our wishes before he recommended anything. He responded right away to our questions and accommodated my special requests. I highly recommend him for any function and will continue to use him for ours as well. DAVE YOU ARE AWESOME!!! :)

DJ Dave did a spectacular job for our wedding. We are older (early 50's) and had all ages of people attending the wedding. The music was very important to us. Dave listened to what we had discussed & was spot on the entire evening. He moved the flow of the wedding expertly, but not intrusively, and everyone danced from our 70ish parents down to the teenagers. It was a wonderful wedding & all the guests had fun. Thank you, Dave!! You're awesome!!

DJ Dave Awesome, the name says it all. From start to finish, planning our destination wedding with Dave was a breeze. He responds to emails, texts, and calls very quickly to put us at ease. He had no problem coordinating with our photographer and our coordinator Alexandra at the Don Cesar Hotel.

The best part about the entire night was the flow. DJ Dave easily got everyone dancing and having a great time. He catered to everyone at our wedding from 3 years old to 86 years old, every single person was on the dance floor. As someone with prior DJ experience in the past, I can honestly say that Dave is one of the best DJ's I've ever had the pleasure of working with, bar none.

We really could not be happier with the service he provided. He was so down to earth and FUN. Which is exactly what I wanted in a DJ.
He was also very professional. My husband and I will be recommending him to everyone we know.

DJ Dave Awesome was absolutely amazing to work with. I couldn't be happier with how my wedding at the Don CeSar Hotel went, and Dave was a huge part of that.

Dave was highly recommended by the hotel, and after canceling the band I originally hired, I decided to go with a DJ to appeal to our eclectic tastes in music. I called Dave and knew that I had made the right choice. He was enthusiastic, warm, personable, and very responsive to our needs. He was very easy to get a hold of and responded quickly. During our final phone meeting we nailed down the musical course of the evening, and Dave was helpful in giving honest, informed feedback. He's done many weddings and is very knowledgeable, yet also flexible and versed in multiple musical genres to cater to your own tastes. I was unsure about our first dance song because while my husband and I loved the song, my mother was not a fan. Dave encouraged met to go with my gut and pick the song that WE wanted to dance to, and I am so happy I did. Our first dance was a very special moment and one that I will remember forever, and I'm glad Dave encouraged me to make my wedding my own.

After the first dance/father-daughter/mother-son dances were over, Dave completely got the party going. Everyone had such a blast and I could have danced all night. If you are looking for a DJ who is personable, fun, knowledgeable, and will make your party unforgettable, do yourself a favor and call Dave. I'm so glad I did. Thanks again Dave for being a part of the best night of my life. You are...AWESOME!!!!

DJ Dave Awesome made our reception. His professionalism and enthusiasm had everybody happy and moving the entire night. He was a blast to talk to on the phone and go over everything plan wise. He had a ton of great ideas to keep the crowd moving and keep them guessing so that they were never bored. He helped keep us on track timewise. We gave him timeline control for the reception since he knew exactly what he was doing and it would make it easier. He was out on the floor dancing and talking with everybody. He really kept the party going. Afterwards everybody kept asking who he was since he was so amazing.

We gave him a general guideline for music selection and he ran with it. Kept the music flowing so that everything went smoothly and didn't go stagnant. He kept checking in with us to make sure we didn't need more time to chat with the crowd.

If I ever need a DJ for anything again or if my friends ask I'll only recommend DJ Dave Awesome. Best value for the money. No upselling on extra speakers or lighting. If you need lighting he has a great suggestion for you that is cheap and easy to use.. He even says he's a horrible sales guy on the phone. It's very no pressure. Very easy to call and text with questions and music requests at any hour.

LIke I said he made the reception. He is 100% the man for your music needs.

The most frequent comment that my husband and I hear about our wedding is that it was so much FUN!! We know it was completely due to the incredible DJ Dave Awesome :) He really went above and beyond what we expected..he came early and set up and even assisted with some "day of" stuff that we were working on. It went a long way in helping me not stress out! He did a great job with our ceremony music even though we were on a windy beach, which I was worried about. We didn't give the music a second thought after that because he had walked us through everything from the ceremony seating music to the last dance the week before. However, the most amazing thing that Dave did was to get Uncle Mario (who NEVER dances) out on the dance floor for an entire song! He was even smiling. I can honestly say that from beginning to end there were always people dancing, toasting or laughing and he ran the whole thing so smoothly. I would recommend Dave for anyone who wants a fun, high energy DJ who really cares about making your day perfect...he's the best!

Dave is friendly, enthusiastic, and takes every detail very seriously (while not taking himself to seriously) Prior to the wedding he asked us many questions we didn't even realize needed to be settled ahead of time. And he always responded to my wife or myself in a timely fashion. My wife created a list of songs that were not "traditional" wedding reception-like songs, and Dave had them all prepared and ready to go. We couldn't be happier, great DJ! -Al and Kelly Brodeur

DJ Dave is..you guessed it...AWESOME! He was great we had a great time. I have conservative family so I knew half of the wedding guests wouldn't dance, but that's okay. He played everything we requested. The only issue I had was small. We did the garter toss and the bouquet toss. My dear husband really wanted it and so I complied. Instead of the male putting the garter on the female's leg, I decided we'll change it up and have the female put it over the male's pants leg - to accommodate to my very conservative family. Well, DJ Dave mentioned that if you use your teeth it would be 10 years extra luck! Needless to say, that part of the wedding went from conservative to very raunchy.

I didn't think to mentioned this to Dave, so he wouldn't have known. I just didn't realize there was a 10 year extra luck if you used your teeth so I too wouldn't have known to tell him not to mention the teeth. Anyways, overall we had a great time and we totally recommend DJ Dave to anyone who needs a DJ.

DJ Dave Awesome has his name for a reason. He IS AWESOME. Our guests all commented on how great the DJ was. Not only was he personally fun and easy to work with, but he kept our guests "involved" on the dance floor not knowing that they were even participating in group dances. (ingenious) He had great showmanship presence without "stealing the show". If you are looking for DJ for your special day, you can not go wrong with DJ Dave Awesome. :)

I can't begin to tell you how awesome Dave really is. He made us feel so comfortable during the planning phase of our wedding and took some pressure off of us as well. He was VERY flexible with us, and worked with us to fit our budget. He was very through as well when we were planning and knew exactly what should be played and when. He also knew our favorite bands and played a few extra bonus songs for us. We really didn't want the night to end. One of the biggest things we wanted was a DJ that can get EVERYONE out on the dance floor and he did just that. You will have absolutely NO regrets if you choose Dave as your DJ. If we ever have another function/event and we need a DJ, he would be the first I call. Thanks so much for the memories Dave!!

It was a nightmare trying to find a professional DJ, that was also affordable, and willing to work with us. When we found DJ Dave Awesome, I was so relieved. He was so friendly, and played a lot of the songs I wanted. He took many requests as well, and we were dancing all night. It was a great time! He can get people who NEVER dance, out on the floor. He really is awesome.

Dj Dave Awesome isn't just a DJ, he is an entire party. The wedding was more than what we dreamed of, thanks to DJ Dave! From our parents to our younger family members everybody was floored by the amazing and awesome display of mixes and music DJ Dave was able to provide. DJ Dave was truly awesome for our son's wedding. His humor and good nature kept the reception moving and the dance floor full all evening. He tailored the evening to our guests, even to the point that, when most of the guys were called out for cigars, he kept the party going with "All the Single Ladies."

We could not have asked for a better DJ for our reception. From our first consultation, through the last dance of the night, Dave helped us every step of the way. He walked us through everything ahead of time, catered to our musical whims, made us and our guests feel comfortable and got everyone involved (even those that don't dance), and was an excellent master of ceremonies.

A month later, our guests are still talking about how awesome Dave was.

DJ Dave Awesome was great and amazing. Not only did he put into our wedding all of the songs we asked for, but he even managed to get my grandmother on the dance floor. He's got an awesome and friendly personality that makes people want to get up and dance and have fun. Every one that attended our beautiful wedding mentioned what an amazing time they had at the event. And I'm very confident to say that DJ Dave Awesome was one of the reason for that. When we found Dave Awesome in our search for a Texas wedding dj, we could tell right away from his website that his fun personality is exactly what we wanted for our wedding entertainment. Little did we know, he still lived in Florida...Believe it or not, Dave made the road trip from Florida to Texas just to dj our wedding! He was professional, fun, energetic and made sure all of our guests were having a great time from the first dance to the last dance. Everyone loved him! Dave really did an incredible job. Our wedding party changed just days before our wedding and he was more than accommodating to make the necessary changes, as well as, changes we made to include our children. He took the time to answer every question and give advice throughout the entire process. Our wedding guests ranged in age from 4 years old to 86 years old and he was able to find the perfect mix to keep everyone entertained and having a great time. Just speaking to him on the phone, he was so enthusiastic, he made my husband and I even more excited about our wedding. We would defiantly recommend him for any event.

Dave Awesome did a wonderful job keeping our guests entertained with the music and dancing as my husband and I walked around to talk to our guests. Even though the two of us didn't spend a whole lot of time on the dance floor, everyone else felt the energy and enjoyed themselves throughout the night. That was a good feeling for both of us to see the interaction among the guests because of Dave. Also, the music selection was the perfect mix of styles that we wanted!

Dave recently DJ'ed our wedding and we are so glad he did! Dave has a unique way of using his personality and humor to get the crowd involved and participating and most importantly on the floor and dancing. His experience and professionalism definitely helped keep the evening moving and exciting. His attention to our requests and our specific tastes shows that he really wants to provide the atmosphere we wanted, and was able to accomodate my english speaking friends/family and my wifes spanish speaking family/friends without excluding or neglecting either side. my wife and i truly felt like Dave was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dave. Although my husband and I were hesitant to get involved with the "activities" he provided (only b/c we are super shy), it really got the crowd going and had everyone dancing on the dance floor. Everyone told me what a great job he did and how much fun they had! He was professional with his communication and made sure to approve everything with us before he did it, and even played obscure songs that we requested. Its nice having a vendor you can rely on and trust. I would definitely recommend him for a future wedding!

Seriously the best DJ ive ever had at an event! Dave awesome was fun and flexible and played all of our favorite music. When he got a song request, he played the song right away and you didn't have to wait an hour to hear it like most DJs. He got the crowd involved really well and everyone had a great time. After the reception people were coming up to me and telling me he was the best DJ they ever had, a few even asked his name so that they could call him for upcoming events they wanted a DJ for. If you are looking for a DJ I recommend Dave Awesome. 100%!

I highly recommend DJ Dave Awesome. After my wife and I decided to go with a DJ for our wedding, we were referred to Dave Awesome. He definitely helped make our wedding the best. His music selection was great, and he knew exactly how to get the crowd moving. I don't think there was a single person not dancing. He was open working with us in what songs we wanted and when we wanted them played. If you want a DJ who will make your wedding great, DJ Dave Awesome is your guy. I still hear from people that our wedding was the funnest wedding they have been to. Huge thanks to Dave!

If I had to sum things up into one sentence, it would be ..Dave is awesome. He took the time to listen to what songs my daughter was wanting to have played for her special dances and offered her some suggestions at her request. (He knows his music inside and out!!) He had "everyone" out on the dance floor ... it was a blast!!!! Following the wedding, we had several people telling us that this was the funniest wedding that they had been to. I absolutely would recommend him to every bribe who is looking for the perfect DJ.

DJ Dave did a great job for our wedding reception. He played a good variety of music and did not play anything that we did not want him to. He was great getting everyone up and dancing and enjoying themselves.

I loved working with Dave all the way up to the wedding night. He was very laid back and easy to talk to. He always responded to my emails. He was very professional. Unfortunately, even though I told him exactly what type of music I wanted, his selection was not very good. I had hoped for a "Dance Club" feel, with music straight off the top of the charts. Instead he played stuff that was older, not exactly bad, but out of date. He did many other things right though, so if you're looking for someone who's a good value, but might not play what you want (maybe he will if that's your taste), I'd go with someone else.

Overall, good experience working with Dave. Just a few things I want to highlight:

Flexibility/Responsiveness: Hands down, probably the most flexible vendor. When we originally contracted with him our reception was scheduled to occur at one location; when our plans changed unexpectedly Dave was still able to provide DJ services for our new location and date. And he didn't charge any fees to change the details of the contract. He was also responsive to my requests/concerns.

Quality of Service: I met Dave at an open house for a venue. He was a fun and energetic guy, and his approach to DJ'ing seemed fool proof - he knew how to get people on the dance floor and when to shake things up to get the party going. On the day of our event he did get on the dance floor with us and lead the group into several songs (such as Cha-Cha slide, Wobble, YMCA, etc) but not once did I personally see him walking around and asking our guests what they'd like to hear, which was disappointing. I saw too many people sitting around at their tables and not enough people on the dance floor a lot of the time. Given my first impression, I figured he would have changed up the music style or playlist to get people dancing. He did take requests when people went up to his table though.

Professionalism: When a bride hires a wedding vendor she expects this; she shouldn't have to ask for it. Several weeks before my event it was time for my wedding planner to take over contact with vendors. Upon being contact by my planner, Dave pretty much freaked out - I received a voice mail and several text messages about his personal preference in not working with planners and that he would much rather continue coordinating with me because he was afraid my planner would somehow botch my wedding reception. I appreciated his concern, but I did not appreciate his reaction - especially given that we were only weeks away from my wedding. So, word to the wise: Tell him up front if you have a wedding planner.

DJ Dave is NOT awesome, his equipment sucked, he played all the wrong songs, he dances like a child, and did not listen to anything we asked him to do. I would NOT hire him, he is the worst!
