Dave was professional and talented- we wanted a party and that is what we got!

We first saw DJ Dave Ali perform at a bar in Saratoga NY while visiting the area. We loved his style and decided to reach out to him regarding performing at our wedding. From the start he was so easy to work with. He was responsive, friendly, flexible, and made great suggestions regarding our timeline and music choices. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and did an amazing job with all three. He was a great MC and kept people on the dance floor all night. He also was very respectful of our wishes as a couple and seemed to genuinely want our event to be the best it could be.

I was on the fence about choosing Dave because of his lack of reviews online but we are so glad that we chose him. Do yourself a favor and give him a call or message him on Facebook, you won’t regret it!

Dave was the perfect DJ for us. He knows how to bring the party and doesn't just play a song. He is a true DJ, reads the crowd, takes requests (while also keeping in mind the couple's choices) and keeps the dance floor packed with all ages of people.

Dave is a very professional DJ and keeps the couple in mind versus his personal style. His emails were professional and he had templates asking all of the right questions that got us thinking. He even mixed the father/daughter and mother/son dances for parts that we wanted in and out of the song. I will say that Dave's style for how he DJs is more "party" than "relaxed", which worked perfect for us b/c we wanted a fun time. I would say if you're more of a laid back/relaxed type of couple that is more old school, he may not be the right DJ for you.

He played the songs we selected, kept people on the dance floor all night, and everything was in the perfect order to make the night run smoothly. He also put together a slideshow for us of my husband and I each growing up and then our time together and sent it to us right after the wedding. Such a blast!

DJ Dave Ali is a perfect blend of professionalism, elegance, class, and fun. As the groom, one of the few responsibilities I was slated with was hiring the DJ. Dave was a prompt communicator and always made himself available for questions. His energy and song selection were easily his most remarkable qualities. He is very involved with the crowd and proactive in creating a celebratory atmosphere. All of his sound equipment was great along with lighting and a hologram that were all as he described. Dave made the entire process as easy and enjoyable as possible. He takes great pride in his work and I have reccomended him to everyone I know with an upcoming wedding date.

My husband and I both agreed that music was one of the most important things to us to have at our wedding so we wanted a really good dj. Dj Dave Ali seemed very good and his style was just what we wanted. He had asked me to send over a couple of song requests to get an idea of our music style and I went a little over board and sent him about two pages of requests just because the music was that important to me. I even stressed this to him that it was really important for me to have good music and keep our guests dancing and having a good time. I've been to other weddings where the Dj can either make or break the wedding. I think Dave played maybe 8-10 songs in total that I had requested and my husband and I had to keep telling him to switch it up because the dance floor was empty numerous times. When the dance floor was crowded he would stop playing what was clearly getting people up and dancing and switch to some dumb song and the dance floor would be empty again. He didn't even stick to the genre I had put on my list. I could have probably done a better job at DJing my wedding. He was not good at reading the crowd and he was suppose to be an MC also but had zero personality. He also never came to find me at the venue like he said he would so we could go over bridal party introductions and other things. I had to tell my maid of honor at 6:00 to go find him when our ceremony was starting at 6:30. He forgot my brother was making a speech so we had to remind him and he completely disregarded the fact that I said I was doing a bouquet toss so that never happened. Overall we were pretty unhappy with his DJ service.
