We began working with Direct my Day in 2019 when we began planning our wedding. We chose the package where we would begin working with a planner three months out. Our original Oct 2020 wedding was pushed, but that was no problem as our contract was adjusted for our Oct ‘21 wedding.

By the time our wedding came around we had a new planner (Nicole), as the existing one we were assigned had left the company, well lucky for us this was hugely in our favor! Nicole was very attentive and responsive from the start via email and phone. She ensured we were hitting our timeline and no detail was forgotten.

Come day of when we finally met in person, she was just as attentive and kept everything in good order. She helped set up all of the decor we brought and would send me photos as she did so, to ensure it was what I wanted. She has so much energy and gives off a good vibe, one you really need on your big day!

Marvyl was the planner for my daughters wedding. She was wonderful to work with. She responded to every text, email in a timely manner. She solved problems and gave advice that was very helpful. On the wedding day she went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect. The ceremony and reception set up was exactly the way we wanted. I defiantly would recommend her for your wedding, It was a wonderful experience.

We went into our wedding day with zero stress all thanks to Lee. She is amazing. She is fast to respond, flexible and comes with amazing recommendations. I would not change one single thing about our day and that is thanks to Lee. On our wedding day Lee and her amazing assistant Sarah quite literally did not stop. The amount of guests that complimented their hard work to us after the fact speaks volumes on how amazing and hard working they truly are! They are the calm in what can be a chaotic day!

From the beginning, Lee went above and beyond to answer all our questions, think of all the details, and truly listen to our ideas. She did an excellent job of incorporating our taste while also making helpful recommendations if she thought it would make it a better experience for us or our guests! She consistently checked in with us to make sure all our needs were met and she helped track down all our vendors! When it got to the actual wedding day, I would say it was exactly what we imagined but it was even better than our vision!! She’s truly the best and I 100% recommend her to any future couples!!

My husband and I had a destination wedding in Charleston in May 2024, and Lee at Direct My Day made the entire week so perfect and seamless for us! Starting from the beginning, Lee was responsive, easy to work with, and very detail oriented. She met with us multiple times when we were in town for food tastings, selecting rentals, etc. and always worked with our schedules to do so.

What I didn't appreciate early on is how important it is to pick the right vendors who are reliable, easy to work with, and know what they're doing. Lee made these decisions so easy with 2-3 recommendations for each vendor category (based on what we wanted), and we ended up choosing most of our vendors from her recommendations. Fast forward to wedding week, and I didn't have to stress about any of the details the week of because all of the vendors knew exactly what to do, and I could trust Lee to manage them all. I'm a very type A person so being able to trust Lee with everything made the week 1000x better.

The day of our wedding was so seamless and perfect. Our entire timeline was perfectly planned, and we never felt rushed or stressed at any moment. Lee, Jordan, and Sarah perfected every single detail, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. I even forgot to bring my reception outfit change, and they went to my hotel to get it for me!

Sierra with direct my day was amazing! She really made sure that our day went exactly as planned and her attention to detail was impeccable. She accompanied us to our rehearsal and also setup all of our decorations day of with very minimal direction. We had lots of moving pieces with multiple vendors and she was able to build us a timeline and keep everyone/everything on track. Sierra was hands down the most integral part of bringing our wedding together. Her calm demeanor transcended over my nerves and the ceremony and reception was smooth and flawless. Her eye for detail over every table arrangement to special family picture made the presentation of our families love reflect onto every guest that entered. I couldn’t have had a better wedding, not possible. It was perfect. And even with the unexpected rain I couldn’t have envisioned this special day being more skillfully and smoothly ran.
