Choosing Dilshan Weddings and events its a decision you will NEVER regret... after all isn't this the most important day of your lives!
Dilshan and his team gave us the most seamless, and breathtaking wedding that we could have ever imagined. We had two ceremonies (essentially two completely separate weddings), and Dilshan and his team worked endlessly to ensure they were both unique, and memorable for both families. The event ran with grace, and pure elegance from start to finish.

The vendor choices were first class from the tiniest of details, to the largest ones. I still have guest commenting on the level of detail put into our entire wedding along with surrounding events.
Communication with Dilshan throughout the planning process was spot on. I have a busy work schedule, and it was never an issue for communication with anything. He also schedules vendor schedules around your schedule, always keeping you first priority. Dilshan's communication is always courteous, respectful, and professional within all aspects of planning process.

I felt like my input was always respected, while still enabling you to create your ideal day. He will take your idea's and dreams and enhance them creating a charismatic, extraordinary experience.

The attention to detail was impeccable, from something as small as the card box, or larger moments you want to be able to remember forever.

The day of Dilshan and his team were poised, and perfect... that is the only think I can say, I hardly have words to describe the work they did day of. My family commented they would just think of something they may need, and someone from the team would just appear with whatever it was, it was truly a dream. My mother had a co-worker mention to her boss "The secret service was even at her wedding" because the team was always impeccable dressed, and presented themselves with the highest level of professionalism.

Dilshan went as far as to get photos of family and guest to give to the hotel, so upon arrival the hotel was prepared to greet them.

Needless to say the overall experience is the greatest that I could ever imagine in a million lifetimes. I wanted this day to be one I would remember forever, we only do it once and I wanted so badly for it to be perfect. Now that it is over I can over confidently say our wedding was everything we could ever dream of ten fold. I would have never pictured anything more spectacular or memorable. I had to hold back the entire time, from ugly crying through the entire thing, because every ounce of the wedding was truly picture perfect. It does help that I was marrying my prince charming, but we both could not have ever imagined our day to be even half as beautiful as it was. I often tell people when they ask it was the funnest, and most perfect wedding that I have ever attending... and I do not believe that I am bias and think that because it was my own. All of our friends and family rave about how it was also the most amazing wedding they have ever attending from start to finish.

Long story short, 5 stars over....and over again!

Dilshan was great! He made the whole process stress free, and that’s almost impossible for Indian weddings!!

Although I didn’t personally hire Dilshan, I witnessed firsthand the appalling way he treated my family during their wedding planning process. His lack of communication and professionalism is shocking, especially considering the premium prices he charges.

My family hired him for full production nearly 13 months before the wedding. In all that time, they received only a handful of emails from him before he essentially passed them off to someone else on his team. He then claimed he’d focus on design work, but even that was a disaster.

Nothing substantial was done until the week of the wedding. At the last minute, he scrambled to present ideas and finalize details. The night before the wedding, the ballroom was still incomplete, with only tables, chairs, and tablecloths in place. On the wedding day, his “decor” amounted to some centerpieces. And during the reception? He was nowhere to be found, spending most of his time outside the ballroom on his phone while his team tried to manage the chaos he left behind.

Watching my loved ones stressed and overwhelmed during what should have been a joyful week was heartbreaking. The amount of anxiety this man caused was unacceptable. A professional wedding planner should bring calm and clarity, not require babysitting from the couple.

If you value your peace of mind and want your special day to run smoothly, do not hire this man. His poor communication, lack of effort, and unprofessional behavior are not worth the risk. Save yourself the frustration—there are far better planners out there who truly care about their clients.

We had a disappointing and frustrating experience with Dilshan. We hired Dilshan for full planning services 13 months prior to our wedding on November 2024, but what we received felt more like partial planning at best. Throughout our collaboration, communication was severely lacking. We had less than four meetings with Dilshan, until we were finally introduced to another member from his team to take point on our wedding planning 8 months later!

Despite opting for full services to ease our busy schedules, we ended up having to do our own research to find most of the vendors. This was not what we expected and added a lot of unnecessary stress and pressure. Additionally, the decor did not meet our expectations and was far from the vision and budget we had discussed. The planning for this aspect was done extremely late in the process, leading to a rush to finalize everything at the last minute. This created significant uncertainty about both the final outcome and costs.

Overall, we were incredibly disappointed with the lack of guidance and support, and it did not deliver the smooth, enjoyable experience we were promised—quite the opposite. We even contacted him several times after our wedding to address our concerns, but he didn't respond at all. We wish we had chosen a different planner.
