If I could give a 6 star review for value, I would! Ray is the owner and the best person to work with when searching for that special piece of jewelry. My fiance and his family have been coming to Ray's for years and when it finally came time to buy my engagement ring, my fiance brought in a few pictures and Ray found the perfect band and beautifully cut diamond. The price was amazing compared to big name jewelers and the quality/look is just as beautiful, if not more. The store is a little hole in the wall and the low overhead makes up for the amazing and very reasonable prices that he is able to provide. Ray has connections to designers and jewelers in NYC so any design you want, he can have it made.

I recommend this store to anyone looking for that perfect engagement ring. Ray is so accomodating and his prices are the most reasonable in the area. His markup is minimal compared to most jewelry stores. People come from far and near to see Ray at his tiny store in Ellington but when you see the service you get, you always come back. My son-in-law got the engagement ring there and then they went back for the wedding bands. The prices were so reasonable!

We saved probably 1/2 the amount of $ we would have spent going to one of those super commercialized dealers (you know the ones I mean - you'll see their commercials on TV all the time). We got our engagement ring, both wedding bands, and our groomsmen gifts through Ray (and we know we did well because we looked at the same items elsewher and comparison shopped first).
