We were so lucky to have Danielle by our side throughout our wedding process. There were precious few aspects of the wedding we valued more highly than getting beautiful, timeless photos of every key moment, and Danielle and her team did everything they could to give us the confidence that was happening in real time throughout our wedding day, and then delivered with incredible final shots. They managed to capture so many beautiful, planned & unplanned moments, and looking through our photos after the dust on our perfect day had settled brought back (and continues to bring back) a rush happy memories. We connected immediately with Danielle upon meeting her for the first time, after being drawn to her authentic, high-touch photography style and down-to-earth personality. We initially met Danielle before we had booked any other vendors, and when it came time to decide on a photographer, we knew Danielle was at the top of our Want List. We felt so comfortable talking openly about our biggest hopes and concerns. On our wedding day, she and her team seemed to be working seamlessly behind the scenes to make sure they captured everything and to make sure everything went smoothly. They coalesced easily with our other vendors, allowing us to feel confident all was taken care of. Their coaching and encouragement were huge for us, as a couple that isn’t always super-confident in front of a camera. As a bride who doesn’t always love how I look in photos, Danielle exceeded all expectations. I cried the happiest of tears when we first opened our preview and cried again when we got our full set of photos. Further, Danielle and her team made sure our guests also got the ‘star-treatment,’ and many raved about how engaged and helpful our photographers were in capturing awesome pictures of our friends and family. One of our cherished moments will always be Danielle & her team singing 'The Wheels on the Bus' to get our flower girls to look at the camera :) Exploring and re-exploring our photos (which we've done countless times in the past few months) has been a favorite pastime and source of comfort on difficult days. We keep finding new photos to love, spend many moments reminiscing, and are so grateful to have had Danielle to capture how perfect everything was. SCOOP UP DANIELLE AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! My husband and I had an absolute blast with her from the beginning. Danielle is definitely a veteran photographer. After our first phone call with her, my husband said, "She is so cool we have to get her," and my husband is not one to make decisions that fast. She came and had coffee and lunch with us in Washington, D.C. so you get a friend in Danielle throughout this process. You basically get a planner and photographer in one. Danielle knows the ins and outs of the wedding process and provided much needed guidance for planning and timelines for the day. She brought up logistics that we didn't even think of before or weren't on the "checklists" you find on wedding planning websites. My final timeline to send to all the vendors for the day went to Danielle for checking because I trust her input so much. Most importantly she made our wedding day fun! My bridesmaids and moms were raving about her personality and asking "where did you get her?" Thank you again Danielle for your glowing personality, jokes, and beyond beautiful photographs.

Danielle was first recommended to me from a coworker, and I immediately fell in love with her photography style. I saved her website on my work computer and then lo and behold I stumbled upon her photos again while searching on my personal computer at home. I eventually realized she was the same photographer my coworker recommended so essentially I picked her out twice! From our first conversation (actually text), I knew she was perfect. Danielle advised our AMAZING engagement session and ensured any pictures we wanted were included. After extensive planning, Danielle made our day even more enjoyable. If you or your fiancé are nervous about being in front of a camera a lot and often feel like you look awkward, Danielle is the photographer for you! Even from my first phone call with her, I knew that we were going to get along so well. What I didn't realize was that she is genuinely so much fun to shoot with, and she made us feel totally comfortable. She's not afraid to joke around with you, and it really felt like we had been friends with her for so long. Her photos are beautiful, and we are always going to cherish them so much. We had an engagement shoot with her, I had my bridal portraits done, and of course, the wedding day, and each time was such a joy. Thank you, Danielle!

When we were looking for a photographer, we were looking for someone we could trust for both our engagement session and our wedding. What we found was our photographer for all future life events (sorry Danielle...you’re stuck with us).

My husband and I hate having our pictures taken. We always have felt awkward about where to stand, how to smile, and what to do with your silly hands?!? Danielle immediately put us at ease, as if we were old friends just hanging out. She is very talented at capturing your personality in your photos.

For our engagement session we had tried three times to take our photos in Wilmington, NC but weather and light had foiled our plans. Danielle was very flexible and suggested we keep trying different days so we could get the pictures. The day of the session it was hot and humid and the wind at the beach was not cooperating. We were sweating and my hair was frizzing and we told her we hoped to even get two good pictures out of the session. She gave us a smirk and two weeks later we had an entire album of amazing pictures to use. She captured the light, our surroundings, and most importantly both of our personalities and our bond perfectly. We knew she had talent but it was then that we realized how talented she really is.

The day of our wedding, Danielle and her second shooter, Melissa, were there for every big moment and yet we barely realized they were there. They not only captured the special moments we hoped to remember forever, they captured the impromptu moments we hadn’t remembered at all. Our guests raved about how they barely noticed there were photographers. Danielle made our day one that we will remember forever. Thank you for everything!!

Stop looking for your wedding photographer NOW because Danielle is THE one! From our engagement session to our wedding day, I felt confident and comfortable with Danielle capturing the most important day of our lives. I had seen her previous photo sessions but when we received our own engagement pictures, I was literally in awe and I even shed a tear, so did my 3 other highly emotional sisters! Her work is just so beautiful and professional. On our wedding day, it was quite hectic trying to round everyone up and get us all in one place one time, but Danielle was patient and accommodating enough to make us genuinely smile and be happy. Danielle and her team even stayed a bit longer than what we had planned in order to capture reception shots. Who does that?! I can not recommend Danielle and her team enough to anyone looking for quality, beautiful, work.

From the moment we met Danielle, we knew she was the right choice for us. Not only did she have a great portfolio, but she made us feel comfortable and at ease. And it didn’t stop there! Danielle was so helpful leading up to the wedding; lending an ear when needed and offering advice. It truly made me feel so much better and she proved to an invaluable resource at the wedding. Danielle was on top of everything from grabbing extra supplies we wouldn’t have thought of, helping out as needed, and taking last minute changes on our end like a pro. Her and her second photographer, Kelsey, were amazing and they felt more like guests at the wedding than our photographers and it shows in the pictures!

I have so many great photos from the wedding that it is almost too hard to choose which to use to build our album. Danielle captured the personalities of us and our guest so well. I cannot wait to look back at the pictures each year and share them with our loved ones. You will not regret hiring Danielle; she was the best investment I made for my wedding hands down! I seriously can't say enough good things about Danielle! In addition to our wedding, we did two engagement sessions with her- one with our dogs, and one at the North Carolina State Fair. The pictures from all three events were incredible, and exceeded all of my expectations! Danielle is super responsive to e-mails, has super quick picture turn-around, and the pictures are amazing! I had so many questions during the wedding planning process, and she honestly helped me with so much. From tips on what to wear for the engagement shoots, to driving three hours out of town for our shoot and a venue tour with us, to answering questions about flow of the wedding, to the wedding day schedule which she made on her own, she was the absolute best! I can't do her justice in this review- just take it from me, you need Danielle as part of your wedding!!

Danielle is the best!!!!! She is friendly, accommodating, a fantastic photographer and she truly cares about her clients! She was a great help during the planning process and on the wedding day! She did our engagement shoot at J. C. Raulston Arboretum in May and our wedding in September at Cedar Grove Acres and Cross and Main. My now husband is not confident about taking photos, but she helped him to relax and laugh, which made the photos look natural. During the wedding day we were both very stressed, but she kept everyone on track and was very efficient and speedy with photos. When we received our photos I was not surprised at how beautiful they were, because I trusted Danielle and knew she would do a fantastic job!! I highly recommend Danielle!!
