I highly recommend Carol Deanda for anyone looking for a family photographer or wedding photographer. She has been photographing my family since I was 14. She did my wedding photos last year and I could not be happier with how they turned out. She is such a pleasure to work with. Can’t say enough positive things about her and her work!!

If you’re searching for a wedding photographer and reading reviews to try to help you make a decision, you can stop at this one. I’m telling you straight up: You want Carol as your wedding photographer. Period. She is a consummate professional and made me and my wife’s day perfect. Pre-event, she was courteous, straightforward, understanding, and timely with her information and replies. She made suggestions based on her experiences when new information kept changing our timeline. She was responsible and on top of absolutely everything. Not once did she get frustrated with us, but handheld us every step of the way while we were trying to figure out schedules and shooting locations. Day-of she was at the church waiting for us when we arrived. She was already at work, getting pre ceremony photos. While I’m panicking because flowers aren’t getting handed out and a family member isn’t there, suddenly Carol’s assistant just picks up a box of flowers next to me and said “What do you need? We are here for you.” Right after the ceremony ended, I told Carol “You’re the professional. I trust you. The rest of the night, just do what you need to do.” And she did. She’s wrangling family members, she’s lining up shots, she’s rolling through portrait combos. Every tiny detail, nothing slipping through the cracks. We get outside, more of the same. She’s scouting out areas we can hide from the super heavy wind, she’s getting us in line, she’s quick on her feet. And, as a paying customer, she didn’t deviate from one single thing we had talked about before the wedding without asking my permission first, which is such a testament to her professionalism. At the reception, she took real time initiative to coordinate with my hall rep and DJ since we had gotten delayed to make sure no one was in anyone’s way or messing up anyone else’s plans. They were working things out between them so I could catch my breath. The rest of the night was the same. Consummate professionalism. Then, on top of ALL of that, it’s less than ONEDAY before she tells my wife and I she’s got a preview picture ready for us, and we look at it and the whole experience wrapped itself up in a perfect little bow, from the contract signing all the way to now. I’ll end this by being blunt one more time: You want Carol to photograph your wedding and I promise you she is worth every penny and more.

Carol is everything that you want and need in a photographer. She is excellent at her craft, professional, organized, and personable. We instantly felt comfortable talking with her and being around her which turned out phenomenal photos. Carol was recommended by multiple friends and they guaranteed we would be happy with the outcome- we are so grateful we met with her and booked her for our wedding. She helped us organize our day to ensure all the moments were captured in a way that allowed us to enjoy the company of our wedding party, cocktail hour, and reception- yet still photograph important family formals, table pictures, candid moments etc. She collaborated with our other vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page and brought a sense of tranquility to what could be a hectic day. Choosing Carol as my wedding photographer was a no brainer. Not just because I’ve known her since high school, but because I’ve followed her amazing journey to the phenomenal photographer she is today, since we took photography classes together in high school. Carol and her partners are not only amazing at what they do and produce beautiful photos, but she is so professional! I was able to meet with her and talk with her many times to get a feel for what I wanted for both my engagement shoot and wedding shoot and boy did she deliver. I had no stress and no worries with Carol and her team and now I have the most beautiful photos I can treasure for the rest of my life. Oh and it was a special bonus that we received our pictures while we were on our honeymoon! She’s quick!

She helped us create a timeline for our wedding with a realistic schedule, but was more than accommodating with any requests we had. We even got a group picture with all 200 people at our wedding! Also, much to our surprise, we received all of our wedding photos, beautifully edited, in a matter of days. She cares deeply about her clients and her craft, and that passion radiates from her as you watch her work!

We booked Carol as our photographer because she photographed my friend’s wedding, so we knew going in how good of a job she does. Being a bridesmaid I saw how professional she was and was blown away by her pictures. I booked Carol for our January wedding with high expectations and I can honestly say that she exceeded them. Before the wedding Carol and I spoke regularly and she really helped us coordinate a lot of the details for the big day because we didn’t hire a wedding planner. She is very organized and offers great suggestions. The day of the wedding Carol and her second shooter learned everyone in the bridal party’s name. She instantly made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed getting photographed.

Carol has an eye for what's special and captured all of our precious moments. She went the extra mile to get the perfect shots. She was in the snow while it was 10 degrees out capturing our beautiful winter wonderland wedding. She would literally stomp paths in the snow for my husband and I to walk through so we wouldn't ruin our clothes. Our pictures are truly stunning. I've had so many people tell me they look like they are from a magazine or say they are the best wedding photos they've ever seen.
