Choosing Dasha as our photographer was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! She was so kind and accommodating throughout the whole process. Even though I always feel awkward when getting my photos taken, she was gentle and encouraging and most importantly: she encouraged us to have fun! We really feel like we got to be ourselves throughout the whole day instead of spending the day posing for or staging photos. It really allowed us to bring our authentic selves to our wedding day.

After talking to many photographers, we ended up booking Dasha and that's the best decision we've ever made. Through our engagement session, we got so comfortable in front of her camera and the photos turned out great. Ahead of the wedding, I had a final meeting with Dasha and you could tell that she cares about her couples and gives good advice on the timeline. On the wedding day, her professionalism and creativity made the day so easy for us, and we didn't need to give her a long shortlist because we trusted her. When we received the full gallery, we were so BLOWN AWAY. The editing style speaks for itself. We also loved the way she documented our special - it feels very natural and authentic. When your wedding day is over, and you're saying goodbye to your loved ones in a surreal daze, it feels rare for so many guests to specifically compliment the photographer— before they even see the photos! Dasha not only has a great eye, but a warm presence that contributed so much to our day. We had about a dozen friends and family members make a point to single her out as adding great vibes to the proceedings. And the photos could not have turned out better. My wife and I are notoriously stiff and grumpy in photos, but Dasha had a way of gently directing us to find our best sides and expressions. She'll never say something like "Act like you like each other" or "Look happier"— she guided us organically and invisibly, and much of that is a tribute to her warmth. Everyone will tell you this, but the day of your wedding goes by in a blur. So many gratifying moments happen to you in such rapid succession, all you want to do is preserve them perfectly in your head. But Dasha (and her assistant Alex) captured every emotional highlight. So those moments for us will be secure— never to be washed away by memory and time. We can't recommend her enough.

Dasha is such an incredibly talented photographer. From the very first moment I reached out to her and had a facetime call, I felt like I was with a true professional and she made me feel so much at ease answering all my questions and emails. Our engagement and wedding pictures were unbelievable, and the whole family was in tears looking through them because of how incredibly talented Dasha is for capturing human emotion and being able to transport the viewer back into those small moments in time. We look forward to working with Dasha many more times, and would recommend her a million times over.

I would give her 10 stars if that was an option. Dasha is the best photographer you will ever find, she is will capture all the little moments that you think no one saw. Both my husband and I are very awkward and asked Dasha to not only give us poses but to tell us how to tilt our head and place our hands. She more than did that, she told us what to think when looking at each other and truly captured some private and intimate moments we can now relive through her photos. We not only hired her for our wedding but also our engagement photos and my bridal shower.

For our engagement shoot she not only came early to scope out some places for our engagement shoot, but as it started to snow was able to change her dynamic and capture some photos that we will treasure forever. Due to the snow that started falling she ended us staying late to get those perfect moments.

I asked her last min on a whim to shoot some candids for my bridal shower and she was able to move her schedule around for me. Dasha went above and beyond to not only accommodate us but also to go out of her way to not only make herself scarce but also capture all these little moments. She is beyond professional, a really sweet person and a delight to work with.
