Dasha is AMAZING! I’m definitely one of those people that are incredibly uncomfortable with my picture being taken candidly, and definitely not posed. But Dasha was so amazing making myself and my fiancé comfortable and relaxed, and the photos came out amazing too. She is definitely my favorite vendor selection we made for our wedding!

Dasha is a wonder-woman and a dream asset for any wedding. From day one, she gave her full commitment to us as our photographer, showing awareness and thoughtfulness, and even included an engagement photo session in her services to connect in advance of the big day. She really made time for us throughout the planning process and also in making sure the results were presented professionally and beautifully. It'd be impossible not to feel how much she cares. We gained a great friend in hiring her and her talent shines through in her work. We implore anyone needing a photographer to look no further. Dasha is fantastic!

This review is a bit delayed, but I’ve had the pleasure to work with Dasha several times for my sister’s 200 person wedding party in 2019, as well as my own socially-distanced, 10 person wedding by the beach in 2020.

Regardless of situation, Dasha went above and beyond to deliver breathtaking pictures while making us feel comfortable, guided, and informed. We were all so excited and nervous leading up to our events, and I can honestly say that Dasha was the constant source of reassurance for us, even more than our wedding planners and even in the face of all the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic. Trust us— Dasha knows what she’s doing!

We’ve seen her talent in many environments now, so my sister and I plan to work with Dasha for all our future photography needs: family portraits, future party events, and (eventually) baby photos!

I had the pleasure of working with Dasha all three times that I got married last year. Yes, three weddings, and all of them were to the same guy. My husband and I were born in Asia, grew up in LA, and now live on the East coast. With our family members and friends scattered across the globe, we decided to throw three weddings – one for our family members, one for our friends, and one for ourselves.
Here entered Dasha. Dasha’s bright smile, contagious laughter, and witty remarks kept me calm and sane throughout the wedding trilogy. She took the time to get to know us as a couple. Her photos are not only gorgeous, but they are personal and reflect who we are. She captured moments at the weddings that we may have missed, and moments that we want to treasure forever. Dasha was especially talented in encapsulating motion and movement in a photograph. Her photos bring the scenes back to life.
Dasha also designed the most breathtaking invitations and stationeries for us. She even hand-tied chiffon ribbons to each of our stationery bundles to create that airy and whimsical feeling. Ever the perfectionist, Dasha personally went to the print shop multiple times to confirm that the card stock would match the overall theme. Dasha’s professionalism, artistic eye, and meticulous organizational expertise outshined the wedding planner I had hired. Throughout the seven months, Dasha transformed from a wedding photographer/designer to a trusted confidant.
It is only fitting for me to pen this review on the anniversary of meeting Dasha. I find myself dreaming up ways so that I could work with Dasha again. Did I mention that I have a sister who might be getting married soon? The saga continues…?

I’m not going to lie. I was skeptical about hiring a photographer at first. And at the time we first met Dasha, I wasn’t sure why we needed her. I felt like we had plenty of people that could take “pretty good” photos. After meeting with her, everything changed. She is the most upbeat, fun loving, and energetic person I’ve ever met. As the time went on, the closer my wife and I got to her. My wife Naomi and I could not be more pleased with our engagement and wedding photos. Dasha is definitely the top pick when you want ANY photos taken of you or your family for any occasion. We love her to pieces.

From my first email with Dasha I knew she was the right photographer for us. Sweet and full of sunshine I felt an immediate connect with her. Her energy during our engagement session was infectious. She is joyful and puts you at ease. Dasha shot our engagement and wedding photos and both times she exceeded our expectations. Dasha has the talent to make photo after photo absolutely magical. Dasha was AMAZING! You can tell that she was a true professional and reliable due to her detailed, organized, and beautiful documents to help prepare for your engagement shoot and wedding. So many materials created to help make the process easier like must-have shots/poses, family portrait lists, and detailed timeline of when to capture what shots. Not to mention, she is so easy to work with – especially for people who’ve never had formal professional shoots. She guided us throughout by showing us how to stand, what to do with our hands, and telling us jokes to get our natural smiles/laughs. She’s also very personable and easy to get along. I swear, we spent an extra hour after our photoshoot just chitchatting and having a picnic. Now, the crazy thing is I wasn’t expecting her to remember everything we had shared during our chit chats but she REMEMBERS everything and writes such beautiful personal messages on her blog about her couples. She truly makes the effort and takes the time to get to know you as a couple to capture your essence in her photos. Of course, her photos are so beautifully captured and edited as well but that speaks for itself from her gallery. She is a gem and we’re so thrilled to have had her to capture our special day!

Dasha was the best wedding photographer! She went above and beyond and completely blew me away. She gave us a free engagement session, a cute bag of engagement goodies and amazing pictures! For our wedding she came early, captured every moment and gave us a quick turn around on our pictures. One guest said "every time I thought of that would be a cute picture your photographer was already there snapping away". I absolutely recommend Dasha!

From start to finish Dasha was amazing! She was attentive, kind, and professional. During our first meeting, she took her time to get to know us and what we were looking for. We could definitely see that she truly cared and wanted to help. Dasha helped us visualize our day and come up with a timeline to get exactly the photos I wanted. We knew she was the best for us! All the time before the wedding, she was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had.
The day of the wedding she was absolutely a godsend. She arrived early, was cheerful and supportive. Dasha definitely knows what she does! She sincerely does wish for your wedding to be perfect. I could feel she would do anything she could to make it so!
I just received my gallery and I am amazed at how beautiful the pictures turned out! We already got many compliments on our wedding photos!
