We found Erin and Peter via Instagram and were instantly struck by their cozy and natural style. We were so excited when we reached out and they were available for our wedding date! We started with our engagement shoot at a venue Erin and Peter have photographed before, and they came prepared with the perfect plan to maximize the lighting and explore all the beauty the property has to offer. Leading up to the big day, Erin and Peter were so easy to communicate with and made sure we were at ease and prepared for the day. They created a timeline for the photos and were flexible when the schedule changed a bit. Erin and Peter are extremely efficient. Members of our wedding party who have been in other weddings commented on how smoothly the group photos went and that's all thanks to their professionalism. And maybe most importantly, they kept all the photo times FUN. Erin and Peter have an obvious passion for photography and it shows both in how they show up on the day and the beautiful end result. Erin and Peter from Daphne and Dean Photography are two of the nicest people you could imagine. From the phone calls and video calls, to meeting them in person for our engagement session, we felt comfortable from the start. My husband and I certainly aren't the most graceful couple! We had no idea how to pose, didn't know what to do with ours bodies and faces, etc. Erin and Peter made it so easy! They showed us how to pose, but each pose was so natural... not staged and stiff. We did our engagement session in a forest on one of the hottest and muggiest days of the summer. At the end of the session, we did a fun shoot where we stood in the river! They made everything so easy and fun. When we got the engagement session photos back, we were absolutely blown away! We loved how natural all of the photos looked. Jumping to our wedding day, we felt even more comfortable now being in front of the camera. They took amazing close up shots of the rings, the guy's watches, etc. At the end of the night, Peter was dancing along with us... everybody loved how kind and fun they were! Not a lot of photographers would have embraced a hobbit-themed wedding but Daphne and Dean Photography completely nailed it! Aside from being some of the sweetest, coolest people we’ve ever met, they are also insanely talented AND so amazingly dedicated- they even drove all the way up to MA to take our engagement photos! And then once the wedding day came and brought with it a crazy storm, they made sure that we still got some amazing photos outside, which they knew we dearly wanted. We can’t praise them enough!! You can’t find better photographers (or people) than them!!

Erin and Peter were our very first vendor decision we made once we secured our venue at the Barns at Wesleyan Hills. We had started following some CT photographers on Instagram to figure out what style we were into and within a week we decided that it had to be them. Their pictures are so fun, bright and airy- exactly what we envisioned for our early spring wedding (4/3/21).

Once we got on a call with them it completely sealed the deal- they were so easy to talk to and have such a fun energy. We knew they would be perfect to get our family and friends excited and comfortable for pictures on our big day— and we were right!!

On our wedding day they showed up with the biggest smiles, helped guide a clueless bride and groom through the final hours of getting ready, detail shots, getting to the venue, and corralled our 24 person bridal party for pictures with ease.

They came to RI with us for our engagement shoot and were so easy to work with, making us feel comfortable the entire time! Erin and Peter made my husband and I feel so comfortable on our wedding day when it came to taking our photos. They were kind, funny, easy going and did absolutely everything possible to make sure we got the photos we dreamed of.
