Greg Wood Photography

Greg Wood was everything I could ask for in a photographer for our wedding. He was so easy to work with and extremely responsive. I always had answers to my emails within 24 hours, which made me feel comfortable approaching the wedding since I was from out of state and did not get to physically meet with him until rehearsal dinner! On the wedding day he did exactly what I wanted, he had asked me for a pinterest board and list of pictures prior to the wedding and everything was completed. I have only received my preview so far and they are absolutely stunning, I can not wait for the rest. I have received so many compliments and people say they are the best wedding pictures they have ever seen. He was so helpful and fun to work with, my bridal party had a blast with him. I highly recommend Greg Wood Photography!

My husband and I cannot give Greg a higher review. He is a fantastic photographer and a true artist! We did extensive research to find the perfect photographer for us, which boiled down to Greg. We wanted someone who could find the special, creative shots and willing to work for them (and Greg was, getting into any position needed for the perfect shot). We wanted someone who could capture the special moments, and we wanted to enjoy our night, without having a photographer stop us to pose, but rather get amazing photos without us knowing it. This is exactly what Greg and his second photographer did. They were amazing! You can see Greg's passion for photography, which shined through in our photos. Our friends and family say our wedding pictures are some of the most beautiful wedding photos they have ever seen. They are truly stunning. Also, due to an unexpected move, we had to cancel our engagement shoot. This meant that we met Greg for the very first time the day of our wedding. But somehow, within seconds, it felt like I had already known and worked with Greg before and it was so easy to have him around taking pictures. He was helpful while we were getting ready too and is a clear, experienced, pro at managing the craziness of wedding days. He has a very warm and kind personality and was so great to work with throughout the whole process. Thank you, Greg, for making our wedding day so very special!

Greg was absolutely great! His flexibility when it came to scheduling our engagement shoot worked out perfectly as I watched the weather to make sure we had a fresh coat of snow for our shoot (we went out in February).
At our wedding, he and his assistant Stacy were absolutely amazing! Everything a bride could ask for! It was cold during our outside wedding, so I wore a shawl, but I didn't want the shawl in our post-wedding photo shoot, so she held it for me. Also, during the reception when I complained about my feet hurting, Stacy quickly offered to run up to the bridal suite to get the sandals that I wore to the venue.

Also, when we had issues bustling up my dress, Greg jumped in and helped to figure out the complex series loops, ribbons, and buttons that the seamstress had put into my dress. While he did this, Stacy as down on the beach taking pictures of the bridal parties. Once the night was over, Greg helped my family and the bridal party clean up!

Worried about your photos looking like school portraits? Nope! His photos won't look that that at all! Even the posed photos look natural and his ability to play with light is amazing. He is very artistic and loves what he does. He also does everything he can to make you feel comfortable. We ended up loving him by the end of our engagement photo shoot.

One thing that led us to hire him is that he is one of the few whom at the base level of service, he gives you the rights to your photos, no need to pay extra! As a military couple, this is important to us as making photo gifts like coffee mugs is important to us.

If we ever need another photographer, we're totally hiring him!
