When I decided to make a career in photography I knew my passion was to photograph people and create dynamic images. In 2000, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Advertising Photography at the world-renowned photography and film school, Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California. With a major in Advertising Photography I was able to develop a style that is nontraditional. In 2004, I opened a studio in suburban Philadelphia and the weddings just fell in my lap. Turns out, weddings are the best way to capture people full of every possible emotion. The style of my work is photojournalism, documenting every moment and looking for the best possible way to capture the moments. I love what I do and the best part of what I do, are the people I get to work with.
Weddings are the most unpredictable events out there and each one is unique. There are no guidelines to be followed if you are to enjoy photographing an event such as a wedding. You can’t stage someone laughing, and you can’t stage someone crying…these moments happen on their own and are the most powerful moments…
