Hi there! I’m Ben, and welcome to Pictus Photography. From the first moment I picked up a camera, I knew photography was something special to me—I’ve always had an eye for capturing meaningful moments. Even after years behind the lens, my passion continues to drive me to grow, learn, and refine my craft.

Every client and every event is unique, and I approach each one with care, creativity, and the goal of creating images that feel genuine, beautiful, and unforgettable. I truly enjoy connecting with people and preserving the moments that matter most in their lives. Photography isn’t just what I do—it’s what I love.

Great experience

We had such a great experience working with Ben for our engagement photos! The pictures turned out absolutely beautiful, and he did an amazing job capturing the moment. He was very responsive, easy to work with, and made the entire experience fun and comfortable. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer!

Amazing Engagement Pictures

Ben did an amazing job with our engagement pictures, they came out better than we could've imagined. He made us feel very comfortable, and was very friendly and professional. We are so excited to see more of his work after our wedding day!!

Incredible Photographer

Ben did such a great job on our wedding photos! He has a great eye for photography and his work is very impressive. He is very flexible and adaptable. He helped us figure out how to do the photos exactly as we wanted them and made sure they came out perfect. He was also have responsive and had great communication. He made it so easy to work with out timeline, and he didn’t mind a few last minute adjustments. He is also so kind, he make the shoot so easy and stress free and fun. Overall an amazing photographer. Highly recommend. 10/10 would hire again!

Easy choice!

We loved working with Ben on our big day! As two people who don’t like being in the spotlight, Ben made us feel at ease and we actually had way more fun with pictures than we thought! We had only a few ideas for our wedding/first look pictures, and Ben was able to help us make decisions on the spot based on weather and time constraints, and was very patient and efficient with our massive family pictures! (Including with the kiddos, who were definitely over it, lol) The photos themselves turned out fantastic, and we’re so grateful to have them as keepsakes.

High quality photographer

Ben is a talented photographer; he is very flexible and accommodating. He accommodated a request for us that was high on our priority list that other photographers were quick to shoot down. During our engagement shoot we did a fair bit of walking and was able to get to know Ben a little and he is a great guy who has a genuine passion for what he does and it shows in the quality of his work. We are absolutely looking forward to working with him for our wedding next year!

Captured amazing moments from our wedding!

We would highly recommend Ben for any photography needs! He photographed our wedding in October 2025 and made the experience seamless for us. He captured all the photos we wanted and more. His attention to detail was outstanding and his pricing was very fair. Super nice and professional too! Couldn’t say enough good things about the experience!

Great customer service and communication!

Ben was very accommodating to our location, and his communication and knowledge on photography was excellent. He explains poses in detail and does a great job picking the best angles and spots to shoot. Highly recommend!

Blown away

Ben is truly one of the most amazing photographers I have ever worked with. We got our engagement pictures done this weekend (in the middle of a nor’easter… luckily rain held out for our half hour session) Ben was super flexible on when we took the pictures making sure the rain didn’t ruin them. I got them back in 3 DAYS and we were blown away. Can’t wait to work with him at our wedding next year. Thank you so much Ben!!!

Amazing work

Ben and his assistant Jude were amazing! From beginning to end, Ben captured our wedding day perfectly. He got all the photos I wanted and so many beautiful moments I didn’t even realize were being captured.

He was also incredible with our two-year-old flower girl and our autistic ring bearer showing so much patience and kindness throughout the day. That meant the world to our family.

The photos are absolutely beautiful, and his work is impeccable. If you’re considering hiring Ben, do it—you will not be disappointed. He was one of the best vendors we worked with, and I can’t recommend him highly enough!
