Day of, she did a great job of being a true fly on the wall for a couple who doesn't love the camera, with a calm presence, while making sure we still stayed on schedule and followed our shot list. I was so impressed with how quickly sneak peeks came in and the full album was ready shortly after as well. She absolutely delivered and exceeded our expectations with the photos, she help execute our vision of the day for posed photos and captured so many great candids as well.

Brett did an incredible job capturing our winter wedding! She was easy to work with, communicative, and friendly from the start. Our wedding photos came out incredible, and she did a great job of mixing posed photos with lots of candids, and even walked up a snowy ski slope with us to take ski lift pictures. We also requested film photos and she did this with no extra charge besides the film itself. She sent us a preview the day after the wedding, and our whole edited photo package arrived less than a few weeks later which was a happy surprise! We highly recommend working with Brett as your wedding photographer.

She drove to meet us at our preferred location in Boston early morning for our engagement photos and was patient with our less than obedient dog who we wanted in the photos. Brett was one of the first vendors that we had hired for our wedding and my now husband and I HIGHLY recommend that she capture your wedding.
She did both our engagement shoot and wedding, which I highly recommend. Doing the engagement shoot with her really helped my husband and I get comfortable in front of the camera and seeing how she worked really calmed our nerves for the wedding – we knew we were in great hands!
She is kind, and extremely communicative throughout the entire process – we never had to wait more than a day to hear back from her whether it was a question related to the wedding or asking for copies of our engagement photos. She was also able to provide a lot of information to us regarding what to expect, how to think about what we’d like to see in our photos, planning for the engagement shoot, etc.
One of the main reasons we were enamored with Brett is her photography style. Brett’s photos are always so warm, and you can feel the joy radiating off everyone she captures. I felt true happiness going through her gallery and in that moment, we knew she was the photographer for us – we didn’t have to look around for anyone else!
I also want to mention that she has an INCREDIBLE turn around time! She would give us an ETA and blow it out of the water – I’d see an email from her and be surprised she already had our photos ready for review. I can honestly say that going with Brett was one of the best decisions we made, I go through our wedding photos fondly and I’m ecstatic to see all the joyful moments she was able to capture.
Another thing about Brett is that she has a cool head on her shoulders. On the day of the wedding, we arrived to the venue ~30 minutes behind schedule so we were a bit stressed. Brett was extremely calm, but direct when needed to be. Her laid backness and professionalism helped calm me down and before I knew it, I was getting ready and forgot she was there – which honestly helped with the nerves as well. She lets you really live and soak in the moment which, in my opinion, helped create the best photos.
Lastly, I feel like what really makes Brett great is how much she cares. As I’ve mentioned before she was very kind and helpful throughout the entire process, and she’s also extremely thoughtful. About a month before the wedding we received a small care package in the mail completely by surprise. It was the sweetest gesture we had received from anyone and really helped us get excited for the wedding – thank you again Brett!!!
I feel like I’ve been rambling for a bit, but I just want to shout from the rooftops how much I love Brett and recommend that you have her capture your special day.
