Brett did an incredible job capturing our winter wedding! She was easy to work with, communicative, and friendly from the start. Our wedding photos came out incredible, and she did a great job of mixing posed photos with lots of candids, and even walked up a snowy ski slope with us to take ski lift pictures. We also requested film photos and she did this with no extra charge besides the film itself. She sent us a preview the day after the wedding, and our whole edited photo package arrived less than a few weeks later which was a happy surprise! We highly recommend working with Brett as your wedding photographer. -

We are so grateful to have found Brett as our wedding photographer! From the moment we hired her, she made the entire process feel seamless. Brett's calm and professional demeanor made working with her a breeze, and communication was always easy and efficient. She was quick to respond and offered helpful guidance every step of the way.
During our engagement shoot, we instantly felt at ease with her. Brett knows how to suggest poses and provide direction in a way that never feels forced or overly staged. She made us feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, and the photos truly captured our personalities and the essence of our relationship.
On the day of the wedding, Brett was able to capture so many beautiful, candid moments without being intrusive. She perfectly balanced taking stunning shots while allowing us to enjoy our day. We were also blown away by her turnaround time. Brett shared sneak peeks the very next morning, and within just a few days, we had even more photos. Less than a month after the wedding, we had our full gallery!
Brett’s thoughtfulness goes above and beyond. A month before our wedding, we received a surprise care package from her, and after the wedding, she sent us a personalized USB with all our photos and an ornament featuring one of our favorite images.
We are so thankful for Brett's amazing work and her kind, personal touch throughout the entire experience. She made our wedding memories last forever in such a meaningful way! Thank you Brett! -

We are so incredibly happy we decided to work with Brett. I’m kind of bummed to write this because after two years, after our back and forth communication, our engagement photos, and wedding day, it means we don’t have any immediate plans to work with her again. Brett was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, from booking to our wedding day. Any questions or concerns I had she put me at ease. And not to mention the photos are simply gorgeous, just my style and really capture my now-husband and I naturally but still beautifully. Brett will work with you to capture exactly what you want and is so great to work with, you forget you’ve never done this before. Working with her was an absolute pleasure, 10/5 stars, 15/10 would recommend. Thank you, Brett! -

We hired Brett as our wedding photographer and I am so happy we did! I HIGHLY recommend her! Brett was one of the best/easiest vendors we worked with through out the wedding planning process and on our wedding day!
We first met Brett during our engagement shoot! Brett was super flexible with our schedule and even did a small hike with all her gear to make our engagement photo dreams come true! My husband and I don’t love being photographed but Brett immediately put us at ease. The photos she took were absolutely gorgeous which made us so excited for her to capture our wedding day.
A couple weeks before our wedding Brett sent us the sweetest gift which really proved how kind she was and how much she cares about all her clients.
On our wedding day Brett arrived on time (or possibly early). She was extremly calm but direct when needed to be. Her laid backness made the day super stress free. Brett captured every moment in our day without us even noticing she was there!
The morning after our wedding we received sneak peeks from Brett even after her almost 2 hour drive home! Within a few days we received even more sneak peeks and then the entire wedding gallery of 1000+ photos within a month (even during the busiest season)!
Not only did we receive our USB gallery quickly but Brett customized the USB and USB holder (so kind of her). And if you think Brett didn’t already go above and beyond… we just received the cutest ornament with a photo from our wedding day!
We are so thankful we found Brett and couldn’t have picked anyone better to capture our favorite day! We hope you give her the opportunity to capture your day too! -

I quite literally could not say enough about Brett. She was an amazing photographer and an all around amazing person. Brett was so professional and so responsive to any and all questions. We were looking for a photographer that took candids and formals and Brett really hit the mark. Wedding planning was a breeze once we hired Brett, she worked hard to make sure we were supported. I would highly recommend Brett for your most important occasions! Our wedding planner recommended Brett, and after checking out her work and reading reviews online, we booked her right away — are so grateful to have found her. Brett did our wedding photos for both our small ceremony in 2020 and then again at our reception in 2021. The photos from both events were absolutely stunning — she took many candid shots that truly captured our emotions and were positioned in front of creative and beautiful backdrops. Although we took thousands of photos, the experience was quite organic / natural and fun — Brett has a relaxed personality and goes with the flow of the day. In addition to the photography itself, we were very impressed by Brett’s professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility as we planned our event; we had to move our wedding by 13 months due to the pandemic, and Brett was completely understanding and flexible. She also sent us the photos afterwards in a very timely manner both through a portal and on a USB. Thanks Brett for helping to capture our special day! -

Incredible wedding photographer!
We are so grateful that we found Brett to photograph our wedding! She listened carefully to what we wanted (more natural, candid shots) and was very accommodating. We both felt very comfortable working with her despite being a bit camera-shy. We were completely blown away when we saw the photos- absolutely stunning shots, vivid colors, and most importantly, they really evoke the atmosphere and joy of the event. Brett somehow managed to be everywhere at once and capture some really unique angles. We couldn't have been happier working with Brett. She is lovely, responsive, and very professional, not to mention extremely talented! We cannot recommend her enough! -

Brett was one of the easiest, most organized and helpful vendors we worked with for our wedding and the photos are wonderful! We hired Brett in fall 2019 for our original wedding date in 2020, and ended up pushing back to 2021, so we ended up working together for almost 2 years. Brett was thoughtful, competent, and made the whole process smooth and simple. She provided more than I expected, including very helpful guidance on the wedding day timeline. She wasn't pushy, but quietly made sure we got the photos we wanted, reminding us to take a moment for posed photos at our rehearsal dinner, golden hour at our wedding, and even getting a series of couple photos that we love and don't remember taking. Most importantly, we are very happy with the photos - but we really appreciated the ease of working with Brett too.

My Husband and I were looking for for a laid-back photographer who could capture the essence of our day without feeling like we were surrounded by paparazzi, Brett filled that position perfectly! She made us feel special prior to our wedding by sending us helpful tips and even chocolate chip cookies! The day of the wedding I barely saw her as she moved around taking pictures but she was able to capture our wedding from every angle. I chose Brett because I loved her editing style of focusing on the natural beauty of a picture without too much touch up. Overall, Brett was calm, professional, prompt, and go with the flow, so happy we chose her! -

Highly recommend!!
From the moment we met Brett we knew she was exactly the person we wanted to capture our wedding. Her candid photography was our favorite but also her honest, calm personality also drew us in. She was responsive up until the day and then was amazing on the day of our wedding, moving through the day smoothly and almost silently capturing our most private moments. The final product was unbelievable as well and we look forward to having these images as a keepsake forever. I would highly recommend her for any function where you want beautiful photos to capture the moment. -

Brett was absolutely amazing!! She is truly talented! My husband and I had to move our wedding up due to his mother's terminal cancer diagnosis and Brett was immediately ready to help! She was very flexible and easy going. She blended right into our wedding and we barely noticed her because we were so busy celebrating! Come to find out she was there at every special moment and captured so many emotions from so many of our guests! We did a few posed pictures that came out very nice but it was the candid, natural pictures we love the most! This is why we chose her originally and she did not disappoint! Our pictures are stunning and so real! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

We loved the candid nature of the shots and her ability to capture the mood and emotions. We got the package that included an engagement shoot as well and LOVED those pictures. The wedding pics were equally great. Brett quickly got the proofs up and was extremely responsive in putting together the album and working with us to get it just right. The quality was top notch. We also enjoyed the photo booth she created for fun shots at the wedding. We can't recommend Brett highly enough. -

Holly Sent on 09/03/2013I chose to work with Brett Alison after I saw the work she had done for two of my college friends, and I am beyond thrilled that I did! Not only did she exceed my expectations in quality but also in quantity. I am someone who doesn't leave home without a camera and so having to rely on someone else to take all of my most important photos I was nervous. With that said I would pick Brett over and over again! She got lots of really natural shots and captured the feeling of the day... I seriously felt like a movie star! I'd also like to note that for the amount of pics she took I felt as though I never even saw her which was nice since she was never "in the way" or blocking important shots from guests view. On top of it all.... Just 10 days after my wedding I returned home from my honeymoon to ALL 1100 of my pics ready to view in her lab!!! Brett is punctual, professional, and creative. I would recommend her (and her assistant!!!!!) to anyone and even encourage you to check out my pics if you need the proof. -

We loved working with Brett as our photographer. She offers incredible value, was super easy to work with, and kept up great communication throughout the entire process. She’s truly a sweetheart—she even sent us cookies, a card, and a book the week leading up to the wedding, which meant so much to us.
Her strengths really shine in candid, natural moments. Our final photos from the cocktail hour and reception were full of authenticity and emotion, and she captured the energy of the day beautifully.
For posed portraits we felt that a bit more guidance with spacing, orientation, and posing could have helped us feel more confident in those shots. That said, she was warm and supportive throughout, and we still ended up with photos we love.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience with Brett and are so grateful for the memories she captured.
