My general philosophy on wedding photography: I want it to feel like a great friend just happened to be there with a camera to capture the moments of your special day! I like to be as non-obtrusive as possible and really capture the moments as they are happening. Dana Marie Photography is a bit quirky, a bit contemporary. It's simply great wedding photography for cool people.

I end up not just being the photographer - my duties have been vast in my 7 years as a wedding photographer. I've gotten drinks for the wedding party, iced a bride's aching toes, kept overly-helpful guests away from the bride (upon request), carried bouquets, and even wiped away the happy tears of moms. It's all been great fun and absolutely worth every moment.

In my family, we stay married forever. Our family record is 71 years of marriage... and they were still very happy. I understand the importance of this commitment and despite having been a wedding photographer for as long as I have, I'm still as happy (and admittedly; emotional) for each couple entering into this next phase of life as I was for the first!
