Evolve provided hair and makeup services for me and my bridesmaids on site. They were very accommodating! I loved how my hair and makeup turned out and the staff is so friendly!

When it came to hair and makeup for my wedding day, I didn't have to think twice about choosing Evolve Studio. They offer great packages for bridal parties and the stylists were so talented and fun! Communication with Evolve was also fast and easy. They do a great job at checking in to see if you need to adjust your contract closer to the day (which is nice when bridesmaid change their minds on hair styles and whether they want to add make up or not). We came in at 9am and had 9 total women completely done by shortly after Noon. Everyone got their hair done and many got makeup as well. They also allowed us to bring in food and mimosas for the morning. They allowed us to put our own playlist over the studio's sound system as well. We truly had the studio to ourselves until about 11:30. The stylists were all so fun to be around and set such a happy and positive tone for the day.
As the bride, I worked with Laura Arnold who was AMAZING! Let me say it again for the people in the back....LAURA WAS SO TALENTED AND INCREDIBLE! I did a hair trial with her in July and she totally nailed my vision for my hair style. She is also so kind and personable that she is great to talk to while you get your hair done. My hair style stayed in ALL DAY! It did not fall apart at all, but still looked very natural (not stiff). Laura also did my makeup for the wedding day. She was so open to my input and gave me advice on which products to use (like she chose the perfect lip color and was receptive to my feedback to make the eyeliner a little more dramatic).
I highly recommend Evolve to all brides out there looking for a perfect team of stylists for your wedding day! We chose to have our services in the salon since the venue was close to State College, but I know they offer on-site services as well.

Lauren Vaught and Evolve were the best stylists for our wedding! When my husband and I decided to get married in State College, I knew I would be asking Lauren to help on our big day. She used to style my hair as an undergrad student, as well as 3 of my bridesmaids! We've maintained a friendship all these years, which is really special considering I was initially just a random client. Her personality is the best - so light hearted, so caring and so fun. And of course, she is just as amazingly talented with hair and make up!!

When we set the date, she immediately gave me helpful advice on how to maintain my hair during the year+ prior to the wedding. Then, we did both a hair and makeup trial a few months before the wedding. It was really helpful and reassuring. She asked questions about what I was looking for and gave suggestions based on my hair, skin, and personal style. Shannon from her office was great in answering questions and coordinating moving parts.

Fast forward to the wedding day... When she and the other stylists arrived to the bridal suite in the morning, everyone was kind, happy, and energetic, which was the perfect energy during the morning of one's wedding. I had complete trust in Lauren and the stylists and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I highly recommend Lauren and Evolve as your wedding day stylists!!
