I am someone who does my own makeup a lot, so I wasn't really sure about spending a lot of money to have someone else do it. I am SO glad that decided to have it done and not have to worry about doing it myself. Giovana is not only an incredible makeup artist, but the sweetest person! She absolutely just feels like one of the girls when you are getting ready for your wedding, but is still extremely professional as well as talented! She really had her work cut out for her with my wedding, as I am a BIG big crier and we also had rain and humidity to contend with. The makeup was still flawless at the end of the night and I didn't want to take it off. I have quite a bit of old acne scarring/texture as well as rosacea on my face, and my skin looks IMMACULATE in my photos. (After doing my trial with her, I stopped by my bathroom mirror every single time I walked past it just to look at my face because it was that beautiful) Also, one of my bridesmaids (who this was her 9th time being a bridesmaid) raved to me about her, said she tracked her down before the ceremony to ask for her venmo to tip her, and said how she thinks that is the best she has ever looked in all the weddings she's been in. We had such an incredible experience with Giovana Tome and her team from the initial makeup trial in her beautiful studio (they even let us customize the playlist while we were there) to the big day. Having the trial gave me such a needed peace of mind as an out-of-state bride and I was amazed at how I truly felt like I looked like myself while being camera-ready; I asked for a "radiant" look and they nailed it! These artists are truly professionals and were so prepared & flexible with our timing when our own bridal party members were coming in and out of the suite. Somehow we managed to finish getting ready a little early and that is no small thanks to your team! Everyone from the mothers to the bridesmaids commented on how much they liked how they both looked and felt in their makeup, even those with more mature or sensitive skin. The foundation matches held up both in sunny outdoor photos as well as in the indoor settings later in the reception. Mine lasted throughout the entire day with no touchups needed and well into the evening - I almost didn't want to take it off at the end of the night it still looked that good twelve hours later! In the room, the artists were such beacons of CALM and so sweet during the getting ready process - they made everyone who sat in their chair feel so welcomed and at ease. I ended up having my makeup done towards the end of the lineup and was so glad that I did because that was the moment I felt like I could take a deep breath and start truly experiencing the day.
