Hiring Cynthia was honestly one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. When we received our final gallery, I was completely blown away. Looking through the photos felt like reliving our wedding day all over again, and I’m so grateful she captured so many moments that I didn’t even realize were happening.

From the very beginning, Cynthia was incredibly responsive, flexible, and accommodating to everything we wanted and needed. A couple of weeks before the wedding, she took the time to go through our day-of timeline with us, which made me feel very prepared and reassured. She is extremely professional while also being so warm and friendly, which made such a difference on a day that can otherwise feel overwhelming.

One of the things I appreciated most was how well she worked with our families. We had multiple locations and a lot of moving parts throughout the day, but she was incredibly accommodating. She worked with us and our vision while still giving us great direction when we needed it.

My husband and I also aren't people who take a lot of photos, and we're definitely not used to being in front of a camera. I was worried we would feel awkward or uncomfortable, but Cynthia made it so easy. She gave us great direction without making anything feel forced, and somehow we all ended up having fun and being able to relax. The photos feel natural and candid rather than staged, which was exactly what I wanted.

She captured so many genuine moments and emotions, and I love that the photos feel like us. She also did an amazing job moving between our three different locations throughout the day and capturing each part of the wedding beautifully.

The quality of the photos is amazing, and even the presentation of the final gallery and website felt so professional. And I have to mention the GIFs — I absolutely love them and think they're such a fun addition!

Cynthia didn't just take beautiful photos; she captured how our wedding day felt. Every time I look through our gallery, I notice something new and get emotional all over again. We couldn't have asked for a better person to have with us on such an important day.

Cynthia is an amaaaaaazing photographer!! She took both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and we couldn't be happier with her work. We did our engagement photos with Cynthia in the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. Cynthia was extremely communicative and very friendly when we first met her. She helped us relax a lot when we expressed nervousness with posing and feeling awkward. She captured a nice combination of walking/in-motion and standing still photos as well as both far away (to capture the scenery) and close up (like a picture of our hands) photos. The GIFs were hilarious. Would recommend working with her!

If you're looking for wedding photographs that truly capture beautiful, authentic moments rather than staged, posed shots, Cynthia is the photographer for you. As an art director, I had a very specific vision for an artistic, photojournalistic style, and finding the right photographer was my top priority — second only to the dress. I spent months looking through portfolio sites, each one looking indiscernibly similar to the next, but I instantly knew Cynthia was special upon just arriving on her page. After browsing a few of the blog posts I knew Cynthia was the one when it actually made me cry. She has the ability to capture the essence of the people she photographs.

We booked the engagement and wedding package, which was a bit more than we originally planned to spend, but I had absolute confidence it would be worth every penny — which it absolutely was.

We had our engagement shoot in March which was difficult to plan outdoors because of the rainy weather. After rainchecking a few times, we asked Cynthia if she would mind shooting indoors at the Color Factory and she was super accommodating and excited about the idea. The shots came out incredibly as you can see!

On the wedding day, Cynthia brought along a second shooter and they were an all star team. They captured every single moment I could have ever wanted. We have shots from both the wedding and engagement all over our home and they bring us such joy every single day. I would absolutely recommend Cynthia to anyone. She is super talented, wonderful to work with, and a lovely person all around!

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to capture our NYC City Hall elopement! From the moment she arrived, she was like a total ninja, managing to slip inside City Hall even though we were already at max capacity for guests. We were a little worried about getting all the right shots, but she somehow captured every single moment so naturally and beautifully.

The candid shots are absolutely stunning – they feel so real and capture the true joy and love my husband and I felt that day. Her direction and choice of locations around the city were spot-on, and she knew exactly how to frame each scene perfectly to bring out the best in us. We look amazing in every shot!

One of the best parts? She was able to redo some of our favorite pictures in black and white at our request, and they turned out incredible. The contrast, the mood, and the timeless feel of those black-and-white images are just breathtaking and really capture the essence of our day.

And we absolutely LOVE the GIFs – they’re one of the best parts of the whole album. She captured those little in-between moments that are just so “us,” and they add so much life to our memories. Looking through the photos, we were blown away by how wonderfully she documented each precious moment between us. She truly has a gift for telling a love story through her lens.

One of the best photographers out there!!! Cynthia is so easy to work with and the quality of her work is top-notch. I first met Cynthia few years ago when she was shooting for my friend's wedding and she is just so friendly and her pictures came out so beautiful. I just knew that I had to bring her on as my photographer for my wedding. She makes you feel so at ease and will work in whatever situation we are in. My family was being so crazy and nuts and she had such a calm collected head on her shoulder. I had the 10hr package which included either a book or a 2hr photo session which is what we picked. My husband and I do not have a lot of nice photographed pictures so this was a nice treat yourself moment. If you pick Cynthia to shoot for your wedding or other life event - trust me you won't regret it. If there's ever another moment for me to hire her again I certainly will. TRUST!
