Not only is she an incredible photographer, she was professional and communicative throughout the whole process leading up to the wedding.
On the day, she made me feel so comfortable and confident, captured sweet authentic moments, and overall took wonderful care of us. Also, she’s plain cool. -

Cynthia is an amaaaaaazing photographer!! She took both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and we couldn't be happier with her work. She is such a warm, friendly person and she made absolutely everyone feel comfortable at our wedding. On the day of the wedding, she and her second photographer Yuri worked so seamlessly with the rest of the team to help us stay on schedule while documenting our day from all angles and making us look good. (: We LOVE the GIFs that she does too. It was absolutely wonderful working with her! -

We did our engagement photos with Cynthia in the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. Cynthia was extremely communicative and very friendly when we first met her. She helped us relax a lot when we expressed nervousness with posing and feeling awkward. She captured a nice combination of walking/in-motion and standing still photos as well as both far away (to capture the scenery) and close up (like a picture of our hands) photos. The GIFs were hilarious. Would recommend working with her! -

If you're looking for wedding photographs that truly capture beautiful, authentic moments rather than staged, posed shots, Cynthia is the photographer for you. As an art director, I had a very specific vision for an artistic, photojournalistic style, and finding the right photographer was my top priority — second only to the dress. I spent months looking through portfolio sites, each one looking indiscernibly similar to the next, but I instantly knew Cynthia was special upon just arriving on her page. After browsing a few of the blog posts I knew Cynthia was the one when it actually made me cry. She has the ability to capture the essence of the people she photographs.
We booked the engagement and wedding package, which was a bit more than we originally planned to spend, but I had absolute confidence it would be worth every penny — which it absolutely was.
We had our engagement shoot in March which was difficult to plan outdoors because of the rainy weather. After rainchecking a few times, we asked Cynthia if she would mind shooting indoors at the Color Factory and she was super accommodating and excited about the idea. The shots came out incredibly as you can see!
On the wedding day, Cynthia brought along a second shooter and they were an all star team. They captured every single moment I could have ever wanted. We have shots from both the wedding and engagement all over our home and they bring us such joy every single day. I would absolutely recommend Cynthia to anyone. She is super talented, wonderful to work with, and a lovely person all around! -

Here’s an updated version with the addition about the black-and-white photos:
We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to capture our NYC City Hall elopement! From the moment she arrived, she was like a total ninja, managing to slip inside City Hall even though we were already at max capacity for guests. We were a little worried about getting all the right shots, but she somehow captured every single moment so naturally and beautifully.
The candid shots are absolutely stunning – they feel so real and capture the true joy and love my husband and I felt that day. Her direction and choice of locations around the city were spot-on, and she knew exactly how to frame each scene perfectly to bring out the best in us. We look amazing in every shot!
One of the best parts? She was able to redo some of our favorite pictures in black and white at our request, and they turned out incredible. The contrast, the mood, and the timeless feel of those black-and-white images are just breathtaking and really capture the essence of our day.
And we absolutely LOVE the GIFs – they’re one of the best parts of the whole album. She captured those little in-between moments that are just so “us,” and they add so much life to our memories. Looking through the photos, we were blown away by how wonderfully she documented each precious moment between us. She truly has a gift for telling a love story through her lens.

One of the best photographers out there!!! Cynthia is so easy to work with and the quality of her work is top-notch. I first met Cynthia few years ago when she was shooting for my friend's wedding and she is just so friendly and her pictures came out so beautiful. I just knew that I had to bring her on as my photographer for my wedding. She makes you feel so at ease and will work in whatever situation we are in. My family was being so crazy and nuts and she had such a calm collected head on her shoulder. I had the 10hr package which included either a book or a 2hr photo session which is what we picked. My husband and I do not have a lot of nice photographed pictures so this was a nice treat yourself moment. If you pick Cynthia to shoot for your wedding or other life event - trust me you won't regret it. If there's ever another moment for me to hire her again I certainly will. TRUST! -

A rave review
Cynthia shot my elopement and it couldn't have been more perfect. She was punctual and incredibly professional. It was a cold winter day in December and having a photographer give you exact directions on how to pose and then getting her shots in a few quick snaps shows the breadth of her experience. Solid and wonderful to work with
Cynthia was so amazing to work with. We found her via a google search and loved her body of work. Then we met her the day of our elopement and I felt like we were already friends just catching up! She made our 2 hour session so easy and fun- which is just what you need when you are camera shy. Funny story: my sister-in-law met us half way through our photo shoot and didn’t realize we had just met her that day until after we finished up. THAT is how down to earth and friendly she is. We were even more blown away when she sent us our photons- stunning work!! Would absolutely recommend her to family and friends. -

I am so grateful for Cynthia and I'd recommend her 1000x over to anyone looking for someone to capture their special moments! Looking through Cynthia's website actually helped me figure out how I wanted to get married in NYC, so she unknowingly gave us a lot of creative inspiration. And then she was just as great to work with- incredibly communicative, helped guide and shared advice on what to expect/how best to time out our elopement ceremony + shoot and made us feel incredibly comfortable at the shoot itself. The pictures are INCREDIBLE- she really captured everyone's raw emotion, brought to life the creative vision (it was important to me that the photos really feel like New York City since it's such a special place for my husband and I) and it was so fun to be able to relive our elopement day through her photos. I had been following Cynthia on Instagram for some time and really loved her work. I was very excited that we were able to book her even though it was at somewhat short notice. Cynthia was very responsive and thorough in answering all our questions. On the day of our wedding, she was very patient with all our guests and really made us comfortable during our session. She was a very sweet and friendly person to work with and we had a lot of fun during our session, we almost forgot how tired we were. She was super responsive and accommodating with the number of questions and changes we threw her way (yay for Covid weddings). Just got our pictures back from our photoshoot! Cynthia was the absolute best to work with. I hate taking pictures and can never get comfortable but she just made it so easy and fun! You're never lost as to how to pose/what to do with your hands if you're awkward because she gives excellent direction. She was also extremely responsive to all my questions, no matter how ridiculous they were. 100% recommend! I'm so happy with all the pictures too. The gifs are so special as well. Your Photographer for Years to Come!
Cynthia took our engagement photos and I'm still in awe of them to this day. She was AMAZING to work with--super organized, reliable, and listens to what you're looking for (and makes cool suggestions if you need it). Her bubbly personality makes you feel like a NATURAL in front of the camera and she tells you exactly what to do (without feeling uncomfortable or awkward at all--a huge plus). Her engagement session felt like a fun, chill day at the park followed by some fun shots at a ramen restaurant! After months of agonizing and dragging our feet on what type of wedding we wanted, it became clear a simple elopement in the city where we met was the solution.
Luckily, we were recommended Cynthia by a friend in the arts and despite it being a bit last minute, she was able to squeeze us into her schedule on the date we wanted. In typical NYC fashion, it rained (more like poured) on our day but our small crew had prepared umbrellas and was ready to see it though. They became the perfect accessory!
The pictures came out romantic, sweet with a dash of melancholy - infused with the vibes of the city and reflective of our introverted selves. We felt immediately at ease and relaxed with Cynthia, like we had known her forever! No matter the weather conditions, she took her and her crew took it with stride and their experience & professionalism were amazing. I couldn't have imagined a better team. We had a blast being creative and exploring the hidden spaces of the neighborhood. She truly captured our spirit and to this day when I look back at the photos, I can still remember all the laughter and fun vibes we had together during the shoot. Definitely would like to work with her again; she's got wonderful skills, a great eye and overall a truly lovely person to have with you on your special day! -

Where to begin, Cynthia was the absolute best to work with! Right from the beginning when we had a Skype interview, we knew she was the right fit for us with her positive energy and bright personality. She also was super flexible and instead of doing a traditional engagement photoshoot, she came to our engagement party and took photos of just the two of us and also our family and friends at the party. For our wedding, she was extremely professional and worked closely with our wedding planners, which made it a breeze for us with everything going on in the prep and lead up to the big day! She scouted our wedding location in advance too, which was super helpful--she truly went the extra mile. On the day of, her team was on-time and on top of the shot list we hoped to capture. Despite it being super windy outside which caused a slight change in our original plans, we still were able to get beautiful photos and could not be more pleased with everything. Her GIF photos are also so unique and amazing, our family loved looking at all the moments captured. If you're considering Cynthia for your wedding photographer, look no further! She's Uhhh-mazing! -
