Warm People, Great Service
Laura could not have been more cheerful and omnipresent without being overwhelming. Even to the point of getting my bouquet from my hands as I was dancing around and ruining it right after being introduced into the hall! And making sure my stepchildren has cherry tomatoes at their place settings. The food was delicious. They worked with us on some tweaks that ended up really paying off. Our guests were so excited about all the food!
The only bummer at Crowne Plaza is that the room itself needs DECORATING. You will spend extra money to make sure that the not so pretty walls and ceilings have something to distract the eye. We bought some lot organza and chiffon swags and between the Plaza’s own team and our florist - the room really came together beautifully (the ceiling ... not so much but who is really looking at the ceiling?). All in all I was very very pleased with the level of service and care given to our wedding and to us!

The Crowne Plaza Reading has excellent & accommodating staff and Chef Tim is amazing. The venue offers large and small spaces that are expansive yet comfortable and the venue itself creates a beautiful event. Having a hotel connected is a great perk as well as breakfast options!
What can I say about the Crown Plaza in Reading PA !! Outstanding, Awesome. Fabulous. Not only the venue is first class, but so is Laura and her staff, attentive, professional, and they anticipate your every needs. The Food! Great presentation, but so good as well..! chef Tim is a magician in the kitchen. I would strongly recommend the Crown Plaza. I think it is one if not the best venue in Reading.
The staff at the Crowne Plaza has always been nothing short of exceptional! Easy to work with and professional on all aspects. We always enjoy working our events here and highly recommend the venue to any and all clients!
