Covering more than 100 acres of land, this expansive property features a variety of suitable locations for indoor and outdoor festivities. You and your partner can hold a beautiful open-air ceremony on the grounds, surrounded by vibrant lawns or underneath a protective canopy of trees. Furthermore, a tent can be erected on-site for a lovely outdoor banquet. Alternatively, couples can set up their celebrations in the classic barn. Characterized by rustic red paneling, this traditional facility is an ideal location for country-style occasions. You and your partner can decorate the space to reflect your vision, from elegant banquets to more casual gatherings. While the wedding party prepares for the big day, loved ones can explore the property’s romantic paries, woodlands, and lovely gardens. Additionally, there is a charming Dressing Suite in the farmhouse for day-of preparations.

Services Offered

The dedicated team at Crown Point Ecology Center offers a range of items and services to help make each couple’s special day a success. Their designated Venue Coordinator can work with you and your partner to design your vision in relation to the space. Furthermore, the staff will happily supply a variety of event items, including tables and chairs for up to 150 guests. The venue is available for a multitude of important events surrounding your big day, from engagement parties and showers to the rehearsal dinner.

History

Crown Point is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that donates a quarter of it's annual organic produce harvest to those suffering from food insecurity in Akron, hosts many programs for members of the community and hosts a Summer Farm and Science Camp. Crown Point Ecology Center is a ministry of The Dominican Sisters of Peace.
