About this venue
The Meadowood is a barn and farm wedding venue located in Bellville, Ohio. Situated on 25 acres of grounds, this beautifully renovated barn featuring ties to the past, also boasts modern features and luxurious conveniences that make it ideal for fairytale celebrations. Cocooned by nature, it is a secluded space that would surely appeal to couples planning a getaway wedding with their nearest and dearest.
Facilities and Capacity
The Meadowood accommodates both indoor and outdoor celebrations with up to 175 guests from May to October and 135 in November. This gorgeous property includes a one-of-a-kind barn which has been remodeled into a beautiful venue with rustic charm. The newest addition to the property, the Cedar House is available for couples or their guests to stay in. This creates a weekend wedding destination, Friday-Sunday, to host rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding and Sunday to clean up.
For ceremonies, couples are sure to fall in love with the outdoor options where vows may be exchanged in a romantic setting. An arch can be erected for the couple to stand at as rings are swapped before they are officially pronounced as newlyweds. With trees forming the backdrop, the photos of the first kiss as a married pair are sure to look stunning as the photographer preserves the moment. The outdoor courtyard-style space with a massive 20' tall stone fireplace and twinkle lights mkaes this a one-of-a-kind wedding venue!
Inside the venue, the festivities may continue as food is served and beverages are poured on the main floor. Upstairs you will be wowed by the beautiful original timber-frame and the new addition. All making for a great space for those looking for an indoor option the ceremony, cocktail hour or reception.

On-site accomodations. Get-ready rooms are available to make use of, and these would surely be appreciated by those guests who want to prepare on-site. Outside vendors are welcome at The Meadowood, and an event planner can help with bringing some of the many details together. Various decorative items, venue enhancements, and tables and chairs may also be supplied so that a complete experience can be provided for all.
