I did extensive wedding venue research and as soon as I saw the beauty of the outdoor fireplace, the ambiance of the rustic yet classy backdrop, and looked at everything the Meadowood had to offer I was immediately sold. After speaking with Layne, the wonderful venue coordinator, and asking her to answer every wedding question under the sun I felt all of my anxieties melt away. The Meadowood truly made us feel right at home for our wedding day- each guest couldn't believe this beauty hiding in Bellville and there was no better feeling than sharing this space with them. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue than The Meadowood to celebrate our winter anniversary party! The serene grounds and charming atmosphere created the ideal backdrop for our special day. The venue coordinator was absolutely wonderful to work with—so helpful, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail of our event was flawless. Her professionalism and calm demeanor made the planning process smooth and complete.
Throughout the celebration and in the weeks afterwards, we were overwhelmed with compliments from our guests about how beautiful the location was: warm, inviting, rustic, and how the setting was tastefully done without feeling forced. I will always look back on this day and have complete peace and joy that we had our vow renewal here; choosing The Meadowood was easily one of the best decisions we made, and we’re already recommending it to people we know for their events. If you’re looking for a venue that combines breathtaking scenery with exceptional service, this is the place.

The perfect day!
The Meadowood was magical. Affordable, easy, and organized. We saved so much money with Layne providing decor, and being the day of coordinator. Not only was the meadowood affordable, but our dream location. I never knew I could have my dream wedding till we had it at the meadowood -

The Meadowood was our perfect wedding venue. We first found The Meadowood online and knew we wanted to start our next chapter together there. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous nature, the extravagant outdoor fireplace that can be lit as the sun goes down, and the house on site that can be rented for the weekend. There are so many other details like the new Photo Booth, built in bar area and so many more. Layne was an absolute dream, making time to show us the venue more than once and assist with set up and tear down without hesitation. We loved having her there for the day and truly appreciated her flexibility and patience. We can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. -

Beyond 5 stars!!
I am so thankful that we booked this beautiful venue for our wedding. Plenty of room for your guest to sit, eat, and just mingle. If you are able to do the photo booth I would definitely recommend it! My guest and the whole wedding party had a blast with it. So many photos to look back on. When we were looking around at different venues we stumbled across this one and the fire place was just amazing. Then we walked the grounds and fell more in love with it. We had our ceremony in front of the pond, the trees made it where the sun wasn’t beaming down on us and, we loved the fountain that was just recently put in. Lyan was so helpful all throughout the months while I was trying to plan. She was always there when I needed her with any question. The day of the wedding she jump in and helped everyone out with everything! Lyan is very professional, on time, and will do everything in her power to make your big day the best day ever! I honestly couldn’t thank her enough. -

Perfect wedding weekend at the Meadowood!
The most beautiful venue! The Meadowood team went above and beyond to ensure a perfect wedding weekend! I not have to worry one bit when it came to setting up chairs and tables perfectly. The guest house was used for the rehearsal dinner and lodging and cleanliness and attention to detail was through the roof! Layne was more than attentive with answering all of my questions, walking me through the venue and every detail of the day, and being more than flexible with moving our dance floor outside because of the amazing weather! I could not have asked for a better venue! The venue itself is so stunning that it does not require a ton of extra decorations. The grounds are extremely well kept and offer perfect picture opportunities anywhere you go! -

We chose The Meadowood for our wedding on 9/16/23. When we visited The Meadowood, we fell in love right away and knew it was the perfect place for us. The venue lived up to all of our expectations! Sarah and Layne were amazing to work with and were always available to communicate throughout the whole process. Layne was our event coordinator and was extremely helpful leading up to and on our wedding day. The building and the grounds are beautiful and made the entire wedding day perfect. So many of our guests commented on how much they loved the venue and commended our choice. The Meadowood is truly one of a kind and will make your wedding day one to remember! -

A more than perfect night!
Our wedding was august 19, 2023 and this place was more than perfect! It was secluded, peaceful and just outright beautiful. I couldn’t have imagined our perfect day anywhere else! thank you for helping give us a perfect weekend. The house we rented on the property was absolutely perfect in every way! Everyone that works for the venue is very nice and helpful. You just can’t go wrong with the meadowood! -

Best wedding venue in Ohio!
This venue is absolutely beautiful, especially in the fall when we had our wedding. Sarah and Cody were so easy to work with and accommodating which made our experience as easy and smooth as possible. They let us do an old Southern tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon upside down a month before your wedding on the property and it's supposed to bring you good weather, seriously how cool are they!? They also let us include our dog which was very important to us. I can't recommend them enough!The Meadowood's reply:

Beautiful woodsy setting with a gorgeous barn and outdoor space. We had to reschedule once and drastically change our plans due to COVID and they were responsive and understanding through out the whole thing. Though our wedding was not our original plan, it was still beautiful and they made our new, intimate wedding plans easy and stress free. We are extremely lucky we had such great people to work with and would recommend them to anybody looking for a venue!

The Meadowood was absolutely perfect for our special day. Sarah and Cody were pleasant to work with. All of our questions were answered the day we toured the venue and signed our contract, and we had no problems getting additional questions answered as they came up during our planning process. The Meadowood is absolutely beautiful. They have a selection of rustic decor available on site to be used on the day of your event. This freed up extra money in our budget that we could allocate elsewhere to make our day even more special. Our guests were raving about how gorgeous this venue is and couldn't believe we found such a gem hidden back in the woods. If you are looking for a romantic or rustic venue with plenty of outdoor elements for beautiful photo and ceremony backdrops, look no further. We are completely satisfied with our Meadowood experience and will highly recommend them to anyone we know looking for their own special place to celebrate their union. -

This venue was amazing !! The owners Sarah and Cody helped set everything up and everything down! We got married during covid and they were so patient and kind with all the questions and new regulations. I loved being able to get ready in the bridal suit while watching everything come together ! Gorgeous place ! -

Couldn’t have asked for a better venue
First off, the meadowood is absolutely gorgeous and you could not ask for a better outdoor venue. Second, Sarah and Cody are fantastic and so helpful by answering all my questions beforehand, providing me with a list of vendors who were great and had worked with the venue before, and were so helpful in setting up and tearing down for the wedding. If you choose to go with them (which you totally should) you will not be disappointed!! -

Not only is this the most beautiful venue I’ve ever seen but the owners, Sarah and Cody, were the absolute best! They really went above and beyond to make sure my wedding day was flawless! Beautiful Place For A Perfect Wedding
Cody and Sarah are so awesome, very helpful and very professional. If i had any questions they responded to emails quickly. Being the biggest day of my life they were able to make wedding decisions so much easier than i ever thought was possible. We were able to have our outdoor wedding and reception in one place which is great. The venue has plenty of room inside and out . A bunch of great photographic opportunities. My family said its the most beautiful outdoor venue they have ever seen. It truly was my dream wedding, we can not thank them enough for everything! -

My husband and I got married at The Meadowood on August 31. It was a dream come true. My husband and I first saw the venue February 2018 when it was snow covered and the upstairs was getting redone. Cody and Sarah were telling us their future plans for the venue and we fell in love with their vision and booked that day. It was one of the best decisions that we made. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. We received so many compliments regarding the beauty of the venue. Cody and Sarah were amazing to work with. They were easy to communicate with, super helpful with all the wedding planning process, and all around super sweet couple. Paul and I can't thank them enough for making our wedding what we dreamed it would be. -

The Meadowood is an amazing and beautiful venue! The owners are excellent and are there every step of the way to help. They have decor available at the venue for use, a bar with taps that you purchase alcohol for yourself if you choose (saving you money), chairs, tables, a fireplace, bridal suite and so much more! I highly recommend this venue to anyone planning an outdoor wedding! -

Our experience at The Meadowood was wonderful. The property is so beautiful and unique. Sarah & Cody were great to work with. Always making sure things looked the way we had visioned, assisting with setting up and taking down, and communicating with our vendors. I would recommend anyone to get married here, especially if you are one for greenery and natural light! -

Sarah and Cody were amazing. We fell in love with their beautiful venue as soon as we drove up the driveway! While our wedding was not as originally planned because of COVID they were so nice and caring and worked with us to find and the vendors we were missing and make our wedding magical. You can’t go wrong with the meadowood! -
