My husband and I hired Crossing Woodward to play at our wedding in October 2023. We and our guests couldn’t say enough amazing things about the band that kept the dance floor active all night. I loved the variety of music they provide, across genres and generations!
From our first meeting with Jay, Chris and the other band members to our last dance, the process was seamless. I enjoyed meeting with the band at the beginning of the process to discuss what type of style and experience we were looking for in the band for our big day. From there, the band provided a list of songs to choose from and my fiancé and I chose songs we loved, liked, and disliked on the musical selection sheet. We appreciated the recommendations that Jay gave us, after learning what type of music style we were looking for. Upon the review of our musical choices, the band came up with a set list and showed us prior to the big day. The band also asked us for our favorite songs and learned a few of our favorites for our big day – including our first dance song!! Chris was a great MC, directing the flow of the party and he really knows how to read the crowd.
The communication process was smooth, and they answered all our questions quickly. They arrived early to set up, the stage was organized, and the music was incredible. They even had an audio engineer.
Crossing Woodward is comprised of extremely talented musicians, and the vocal ranges are expansive. We still have family and friends asking about them. We cannot thank Crossing Woodward enough and we would recommend them to everyone. Our day would not have been the same without them!

My husband and I first saw and heard Crossing Woodward performing at a private event for The Detroit Tigers Opening day. We hired the band to provide music and MC duties for our wedding reception in 2019. The band brought a lively party atmosphere and a great variety of music. The dance floor was hopping all night and we heard nothing but great feedback from people who attended. We could not have been more pleased with our choice for our wedding band.
