After getting an absurd quote from the local florist at my venue, I was so relieved to receive a quote for exactly what I wanted within my budget from Country Garden. The flower arch especially was reasonably priced and gorgeous, I received so many compliments. Thank you Mary!

I had a vision for the “tunnel light” effect with fairy lights or something similar and Mary brought it to life! She did the lighting for my wedding. I did a lot of DIY for my wedding, including the florals but man am I glad I hired her for the lights. We had a phone call meeting and she brought my vision to fruition! It was absolutely stunning! She is very communicative, prompt in her replies, and very fairly priced! Her team set up and took down everything seamlessly. Thank you so much for everything!

When we first met Mary, my husband and I already had a blue and black color scheme in mind for our wedding but we did not know much about floral design or any of our options. Mary walked us through flower types, colors, and design possibilities in a helpful educational way.

She created idea boards and sketched out designs for the various types of arrangements we wanted at the wedding, and we worked with her on the linens, napkins, etc in order to keep overarching theme coherent and beautiful. She even did mock-ups for us prior to the wedding so we could see the arrangements ahead of time.

Mary is a true floral artist. Her attention to detail from the largest alter pieces through the floral pocket squares, bouquets, seating flowers, table arrangements, and engage arrangements was impeccable. We received loads of compliments on the flower choices, colors, and uniqueness of the designs.

Mary and the CGF team really went out of their way to ensure our wedding was as amazing aesthetically as we felt inside walking down the aisle. My husband and I highly recommend her.

Booking Mary to do the flowers for our wedding weekend was SUCH a great decision. Truthfully, I put planning the flowers in my mom’s hands, as she is much more into floristry than I am. She booked Mary immediately after meeting her based on personality and the feeling she had talking to her! I got that same feeling once I finally met her! She is amazingly knowledgable and talented- she is a wizard at whipping up ideas and switching things around to create elegance or scaling down certain things to stretch the budget. She listened to me about some of the ideas I had and helped me build a beautiful vision that felt so consistent to my personality and the overall vibe that we wanted to convey. She is just so warm, friendly, funny and outgoing- I always left our planning meetings feeling so confident and inspired! Her job seems pretty stressful but she was always cool as a cucumber. She was wonderful and I couldn’t recommend her more!

Mary went above and beyond to make our wedding more beautiful than we could have imagined. She is very responsive and worked with us to bring our vision for the day to life (while sticking to our budget). She was a joy to work with at every stage of the process - we can't say enough good things about her!

Mary did an excellent job. I saw pictures of our arrangements the day before the wedding. I wanted to make a small change, and she was able to accommodate it with no problem. When she brought the adjusted arrangements and bouquets to the preview at the rehearsal, they were EXACTLY what I wanted. The arrangements were stunning!

On the day of the wedding, she was able to put everything together beautifully with table arrangements, aisle markers, and altar arrangements. Mary is great at what she does, and I highly recommend Country Garden Florist!

Mary was hands down the best vendor I worked with! Not only was she incredibly nice and easy to work with but she did the most beautiful work! Additionally, she came out to the venue the night before so I could preview all of my arrangements. I would highly recommend Mary and Country Garden to any bride in the Southwest VA area especially those getting married at The Homestead. She knows the resort like the back of her hand!

Mary was fantastic to work with and the flowers were beyond amazing. My bridal bouquet was prettier than I had imagined and it smelled divine. Having the bridal preview the day before the wedding was great because I could focus on just the flowers and get to enjoy them. I had one flower that was in the bridesmaid bouquets that I wasn't crazy about and Mary quickly removed them and had them replaced in the bouquets the next day at the wedding. The centerpiece bowls were footed glass bowls that were great quality and my mother in law and mother are already re-using them. It was also a nice touch that Mary re-purposes extra flowers and centerpieces that were not taken and brings them to a local nursing home after the wedding. Mary was wonderful, reasonably priced and I would highly recommend her services.

Country Garden Florist created the center pieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres for my wedding. They took my ideas and budget and created exactly what I had dreamed of. They work very well with any budget and can adjust the flower type to stay within your budget but still create the concept you chose. The only critique I would have is that I had a small table at the alter to have communion on and the draping of the flowers was very traditional and I am more of a modern person. I blame myself for not being more specific, they made the boutonnieres very modern and "Pinterest" like so they definitely have the ability.

The Country Garden Florist has does many events at The Omni Homestead and I have always been impressed.
