Exquisite Restraint Corsets is Los Angeles' premiere custom corsetmaker. Since 2001 owner and designer Simone has used her extensive experience in film, television and theatre to inform her work with private clients all over the United States and worldwide for Exquisite Restraint. We have been a proud LGBTQ Ally business since we created our first corset.
Our workmanship is exquisite, our skills undeniable... whether you want a waist cincher as a foundation garment to nip in your waist under your gown, or a complete wedding ensemble that includes a boned corset-style bodice, we are ready to create a corset as unique as YOU.
We work with high-end, traditional corset materials: all steel boning, a center front busc and cotton coutil as the strong inner structure of your corset.
We welcome your offbeat, steampunk, alternative and non-traditional wedding requests. Our image pictured here on Wedding Wire is lovely client in an ensemble she designed. She approached us with a beaded victorian jacket and skirt riding outfit that she wanted to re-purpose into her own wedding gown. Simone collaborated closely with the superb Grace Bridal who made the the new skirt for the client. We are thrilled with the results and so was the client.

Simone also provided day of services for the wedding day where she brought my dress to the venue and had it steamed and ready for me when I arrived. She stayed throughout the ceremony and for photos to make sure my train was properly carried and that everything with the dress was looking great in photos. It was so good to have her there, she's a calm presence and no one knew my dress better than Simone.
