Hello, I'm Luisa, a New York City wedding and elopement photographer. I started photography back in 2012—Mexican living in NYC.
I love capturing love stories: surprise engagements, save the dates, elopements, and weddings across all 5 boroughs of NYC, with openness to travel and destination weddings.
I like to capture emotion, movement, and vibe, always chasing spontaneous moments of true romance. I love experimenting with composition and storytelling, using location and light as part of the narrative, with an art film-inspired, movie-like feel. As for the experience of working with me: I'll always do my best to make you feel comfortable and give you space to enjoy the process too. I'll be your hype person on the dance floor and friendly with your guests (which is part of why I love smaller weddings, since I get to connect with more people). I also love pulling from your mood board to bring your vision to life.
Beyond weddings, I work with fashion, corporate events, and content creation. Outside of that, I love reading, dancing, and learning about random things. I also speak Spanish.
