We had these guys cater a wedding party, and they lived up to their reputation as North Carolina's best Barbecue provider. We had them cook and serve the pig directly on the grill, which was a real cultural adventure for many of our guests.

Not only is Clyde Cooper's the best BBQ in NC, their prices were so low compared to all the other options. On the wedding day, they were absolutely perfect. Charles was there to help us and was so personable and attentive. He made us a plate because he knew we would be too busy to eat. When we had more food leftover than expected, he ran out to get more to-go boxes so it didn't go to waste. He was amazing to work with and even my BBQ aficionado friends said it was the best BBQ they have ever had. Best wedding caterer ever!

I am so happy that I picked Cooper BBQ for my wedding. They were the easiest part of my wedding planning. The prices were 100% reasonable and the staff was amazing to work with. Everyone loved the food and there was even tons to take home. I will be using them for other events as well. We had a rustic southern wedding, but even the northern people loved the food. They were totally professional and kept everything perfect.

Clyde Cooper's is awesome! They had delicious food, with tons of extra even after our guests went through the line. It was very affordable for our big country wedding. Our caterer was Charles and he was so sweet. He made sure both my husband and I actually ate at the reception and even fixed and brought me my drink. :) They brought everything they needed including the tables, linens, silverware, cups, and plates. For a casual, filling, affordable, (and every other great word you can think of) catering service, go to Clyde Coopers. But definitely call early!!

Cooper's bbq is my favorite bbq in the area. They are extremely reasonable and work very well with your needs. They answered all of our questions. It was delicious. Everyone loved it!

This is the most amazing bbq in NC! The price was unbeatable, and the food was delicious! They provided everything we needed right down to the salt and pepper and allowed us to serve great food within our budget!

My husband and I wanted old fashioned NC barbecue for our buffet lunch but needed to keep the cost down without skimping on taste. Clyde Cooper's was perfect.

Everyone we spoke to was very nice and polite. They took a verbal contract with no deposit which we were amazed to find. They were paid in full the day of the wedding.

They lost stars on responsiveness because this business is so busy that the phone can ring for hours before anyone has time to answer them. The stars lost on Professionalism are because the driver had failed to properly write down directions to the wedding/reception location and called the groom 5 mins before the ceremony.

That said- the food was wonderful AND they brought take home boxes so many of our guests got to enjoy the leftovers. I had nothing but compliments and at under $9/head including tax and gratuity for a full lunch, I was well under budget!
