Matthew was the very first vendor I hired when I started planning for my wedding. I had known how talented he is through his instagram account photos. The romantic, airy, and natural style of his photography was exactly what I was looking for. My husband and I did both our engagement and wedding photoshoot with Matthew, and it has been such a delight working with him and his team! He is kind, professional, and accommodating, making sure that we got all photos we wanted. And the photos turned out so beautiful, beyond our expectations. It's amazing how great he is at catching love in the photos! I want to continue working with him in the future whenever I will have special occasions. Highly recommended!!!

Matthew and his team take wedding/engagement photography to another level. Matthew and his team truly make artwork out of their photographs. He has a way of reading a couple well so that an engagement photoshoot feels natural and fun. While we are still awaiting our wedding photos, Matthew and his team took such a variety of photos, from detail shots, more panned out shots, candid, and portrait-style so we had a good mix of photos. He also made sure we got photos with everyone who was important to us, while keeping us on schedule, which really impressed our wedding venue. He also was very responsive and easy to talk about ideas with both for our wedding and engagement photoshoot. We can't recommend him enough!

He has this incredible ability to harness natural light in ways that always puts his subjects in the best possible light and we simply cannot be happier with how our engagement session and wedding photos turned out. Matthew was an absolute pleasure to work with and so talented. We knew photography was a big element of our wedding so we looked through a lot of photographers. We ended up going with Matthew’s classic style and we also loved that he shot with film as well, which gives a certain vibe/quality to the photos. We also loved that he offered a photo booth service, which our guests loved and made for some great souvenirs in our guest book.

We were both very shy so we were very glad we did the engagement shoot as a trial run. Definitely recommend that! He made us feel at ease immediately (even in the streets of NYC when it felt like everyone was staring at us!). It is obvious Matthew really cares about his craft and he is a true artist. Matthew is an amazing photographer. We chose Matthew because of his ability to capture light, his eye for detail and the fact that he had prior experience working in the venue. Photos were a very important element for us.

His and his team’s photography is beautiful, elegant, classic, and natural – and it was so easy to work with them from a fit and personality standpoint. I’ll admit, it’s a little awkward to pose for photography! But in the months leading up, and the day of, the wedding, Matthew and his team made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Matthew is one of the kindest people ever, and his calm demeanor made everything so pleasant and easy (especially with the frantic nature of wedding planning!) We are in LOVE with the photos we got back. We still can’t even believe it’s us, and our wedding, because the CLY team captured everything so amazingly. It’s surreal! The photographers made us (and our families) feel comfortable and natural through the entire process which resulted in beautiful photos. They organized our large families calmly and respectfully. They remained discrete during the event but where always there in case we wanted to grab them for a photo. The photo booth, and the amazing props that come with it were a huge hit with our guests!
