  You won't regret hiring Cly by Matthew!!!

  Matthew was the very first vendor I hired when I started planning for my wedding. I had known how talented he is through his instagram account photos. The romantic, airy, and natural style of his photography was exactly what I was looking for. My husband and I did both our engagement and wedding photoshoot with Matthew, and it has been such a delight working with him and his team! He is kind, professional, and accommodating, making sure that we got all photos we wanted. And the photos turned out so beautiful, beyond our expectations. It's amazing how great he is at catching love in the photos! I want to continue working with him in the future whenever I will have special occasions. Highly recommended!!!

  Beautiful photography!

  Matthew and his team take wedding/engagement photography to another level. Matthew and his team truly make artwork out of their photographs. He has a way of reading a couple well so that an engagement photoshoot feels natural and fun. While we are still awaiting our wedding photos, Matthew and his team took such a variety of photos, from detail shots, more panned out shots, candid, and portrait-style so we had a good mix of photos. He also made sure we got photos with everyone who was important to us, while keeping us on schedule, which really impressed our wedding venue. He also was very responsive and easy to talk about ideas with both for our wedding and engagement photoshoot. We can't recommend him enough!

  Simply the best!

  If a picture says a thousand words, Matthew’s pictures say infinitely more. He has this incredible ability to harness natural light in ways that always puts his subjects in the best possible light and we simply cannot be happier with how our engagement session and wedding photos turned out. He didn’t just give us what we wanted, he gave it to us better and so much more.
  
  Just as impressively, Matthew made two otherwise extremely self-conscious people feel completely comfortable in front of the camera — to the extent that we often forgot it was there. He put us at ease even through the most tender of moments and patiently gave us pointers on how to position ourselves without ever making us feel silly.
  
  In short, Matthew is a first-rate photographer - second to none - and a true master of his craft and we recommend him unequivocally.
  
  We are filled with immeasurable gratitude to the CLY by Matthew team for making us look the best we probably ever will and for

  Professional and friendly photographer!

  We worked with Matthew on our engagement shoot and with Jeanie on our wedding day. Matthew is a true professional with incredible talent. Matthew was timely and responsive - he coordinated with us on specific shots we wanted to have and was very attentive to detail. His high quality shots are amazing and something we will cherish forever. The photos speak for themselves and we were especially impressed with how the color bomb photos turned out.
  
  Matthew and his team are very friendly and have contagious positive energy. For our engagement shot, I was sweating like crazy from the heat but Matthew made sure we were not rushed or frazzled. On the wedding day, Jeanie and Keri were amazing in capturing magical moments and finding the ideal spots in Central Park for photos while on a time crunch. They are very flexible and will accommodate to ensure your wedding is perfect! I highly recommend Matthew and his team.

  The BEST photographer!!

  Matthew was an absolute pleasure to work with and so talented. We knew photography was a big element of our wedding so we looked through a lot of photographers. We ended up going with Matthew’s classic style and we also loved that he shot with film as well, which gives a certain vibe/quality to the photos. We also loved that he offered a photo booth service, which our guests loved and made for some great souvenirs in our guest book.
  
  We were both very shy so we were very glad we did the engagement shoot as a trial run. Definitely recommend that! He made us feel at ease immediately (even in the streets of NYC when it felt like everyone was staring at us!). It is obvious Matthew really cares about his craft and he is a true artist. SO glad we booked Matthew as our photographer!

  Incredibly talented photographer

  We had such a wonderful experience working with Matthew for our wedding. We were immediately impressed by Matthew's work when we began our photographer search. We were so thrilled to learn more about his work when we met with him. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and kind-hearted. We knew we had to book him! My husband and I are not usually comfortable being the center of attention, but Matthew and his team made us feel completely comfortable throughout our entire wedding day. It was clear that Matthew is a master of his craft and we are so excited to see our photos!

  Amazingly Talented Photographer - You will be glad you hired him!

  Matthew is an amazing photographer. We chose Matthew because of his ability to capture light, his eye for detail and the fact that he had prior experience working in the venue. Photos were a very important element for us.
  
  He did not disappoint. Throughout the entire process, he was very responsive and professional. We worked together to figure out a perfect budget and timing for the event. During the wedding day, Matthew and his team were amazing. They seamlessly worked with the other vendors and we hardly noticed that they were there! During the portrait portions of the day, he really made us comfortable.
  
  The photos speak for themselves. He captured every moment I wanted to have captured. I am so thankful to have had Matthew as part of our perfect day.

  You must hire CLY by Matthew – one of the best decisions of our wedding

  Where do I start…I have so many things to praise about Matthew and his team at CLY by Matthew. The search for our photographer took forever, but once I found CLY and Matthew’s work, it was essentially an instantaneous decision. I left the intro meeting/conversation 100% sure we’d hire him. His and his team’s photography is beautiful, elegant, classic, and natural – and it was so easy to work with them from a fit and personality standpoint. I’ll admit, it’s a little awkward to pose for photography! But in the months leading up, and the day of, the wedding, Matthew and his team made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Matthew is one of the kindest people ever, and his calm demeanor made everything so pleasant and easy (especially with the frantic nature of wedding planning!) We are in LOVE with the photos we got back. We still can’t even believe it’s us, and our wedding, because the CLY team captured everything so amazingly. It’s surreal! We are so lucky to have found them and worked with Matthew. I’m hoping to find an excuse in the future to work with him again for professional photography. If you’re here and in the middle of researching photographers, stop reading and contact CLY immediately. You won’t regret it, I promise you.

  I hired Matthew Lee for my Wedding Day that took place at the Glasshouses in NYC on 10/28/17. We also took engagement photos with Matthew which I would highly recommend just so you and your fiance feel comfortable during your actual wedding day. Matthew is a true artist and has a great eye. His work is a true reflection of his talent. We were so happy with our engagement photos and look forward to our wedding photos to arrive. They remained discrete during the event but where always there in case we wanted to grab them for a photo. The photo booth, and the amazing props that come with it were a huge hit with our guests! The ultimate evidence is in the photos--there are too many great ones to choose from! We would recommend Cly by Matthew to everyone!

  We used Bo at Cly by Matthew for our engagement and wedding photos and we were very happy with their work. Not only is she talented, she is respectful and prompt in responding to any questions or concerns. Their photobooth (an additional service) was a hit. Our guests had a lot of fun. Cannot recommend Bo and this team enough!
