Clove and Kin are an incredible team! On the day of our wedding we worked with Weston and Alyss on photography and Rebecca on videography, they were awesome. Weston really got me to slow down and take in the moment and was so great about guiding us throughout the day to get the best shots. He kept things moving but was still upbeat and fun. Your photog/videographer are with you in your most intimate moments of your wedding day and it's so important to have a team you like and feel comfortable with, they were exactly that. Before we started our search for any other vendors, I started looking for our wedding photographer because I knew it might take a while to find the right fit. Fortunately, the instant I called Clove & Kin and spoke with Kelsey, I knew we had found the right fit.

Weston, Kelsey, and the entire Clove & Kin team were a dream to work with - from our engagement photo session (which turned out absolutely beautiful) to the multiple covid-related postponements to our wedding in November 2021, I couldn’t have asked for better people to work with.

On the day of the wedding, both Weston and Jamie were amazing. We worked with them ahead of time to note which pictures were most important to us (such a life-saver on the actual day!) and they were amazing about sticking to the list. But my favorite pictures are the candid ones that they took. I don’t know how they captured so many moments so beautifully, but looking through the full albums brings everything from that day back to life. I also loved that they captured so many of the little details. The quality, composition, and editing of the photos are exactly what I had dreamed of.

After our wedding, we went in for the photo design session. Erin was so much fun to work with, she made the session feel so much fun and was so helpful with walking us through the various design options. I would absolutely recommend getting the professional photo album through them - my husband and I are just amazed at how stunning it is every time we look through it (as are our families!)

Clove & Kin was a perfect fit for what we needed for our wedding photography!

We had a few options, in similar price ranges, when trying to select the perfect vendor, and ultimately went with Clove & Kin based on the quality of their photography, that we were able to sample from Instagram, and their professionalism, that we were able to get a taste of when we had our first zoom call with the owner.

The completely sold us on the idea that the wedding day was going to be a complete whirlwind and that they specialize and trying to make the day as simple and enjoyable for the couple as possible. They provided a very detailed timeline for the wedding day, and worked in times for us to just take it all in and enjoy it, which seemed a bit more targeted toward a younger couple at the time, but looking back, we definitely appreciated it!

We had an engagement photo session a few months prior to our wedding to get comfortable with our photographer (Jamie) which turned out great, and gave us some amazing photo's that we were able to use for our guest book.

They were INCREDIBLY organized and definitely have the wedding thing dialed in. They had us fill out a few surveys up-front to make sure that the day went smoothly, like who we wanted in our family portraits, whether there were any family dynamics to be made aware of (like divorces, or people who shouldn't be photoed together, etc), if there were any special moments we explicitly wanted captured, etc.

They weren't on low end of the price range, but we would definitely say that we got every bit of what we paid for, and more!

It helped that our coordinator had worked closely with them in the past and was able to personally vouch for them as well!

We definitely wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Clove & Kin came highly recommended to us from a friend of mine who got married a year before us. From the very first interaction, we knew we had found the right photographer team for us. Everyone on staff at Clove & Kin is amazing to work with, and they help make the entire process so easy, communicate so well, and are always there to help answer any questions. Weston is truly amazing, I feel like he is now part of our family. He is so easy to work with, and truly provided me some of the best moment and memories from our wedding day. We are absolutely in love with all our photos - wedding and engagement - and we highly, highly recommend them!! They are very fairly priced, and they are worth every single penny! We will definitely use them again for family photos down the road.

Weston made sure we got all of the photos we wanted without making us feel like we were missing anything on our wedding day. We had great chemistry from our engagement shoot to our big day. We LOVED our entire experience with Clove and Kin. My husband and I interviewed a different photography company whose work I had admired for years - and their photos were beautiful, but I felt uncomfortable with the vibe - like maybe hiring this couple could include drama, stress, and lots of opinions. I had LOVED the Youngren's work for years - Jeff photographed one of my friend's weddings when the Youngrens were just starting out, but I knew I was absolutely priced out of their brand. When I heard they had launched a more affordable brand, I just had to check it out. Jeff Youngren (the founder of Clove and Kin) called me personally to talk about our inquiry, and it was a little bit of a stretch to our budget, but we were able to work it out. It was ABSOLUTELY worth it. Our images are GORGEOUS, but beyond that the people we worked with were fabulous. Kelsey in the office is very responsive, and everyone is kind and professional. Our photographers Lauren and Weston set us at ease immediately, captured beautiful and creative images, and helped us feel relaxed all day long. It was a high value to me to create a day where we would plan details ahead - and then just relax and be present with our guests on the day of. A lot of very kind, well-intentioned people warned me the day would fly by and I wouldn't eat - and I was determined that there CAN be a different experience of your wedding than that. Clove and Kin not only captured our day beautifully - but also helped us feel relaxed and present the way we hoped we could. They didn't just take us through the day, but helped us slow down and savor it. I could not be more grateful for their work and the kindness of the people who work there.

We could not be happier with choosing Clove & Kin to be our wedding photography studio. Taylor, Lauren and Kelsey were so professional and amazing at their jobs, and the photos turned out phenomenally.

Kelsey is enthusiastic and organized. She took the time to get to know us which was critical in choosing the right photographer for us. She answered all of our questions promptly, gave us tips and pointers for our engagement session, and even helped us choose the perfect location for the engagement session. She sent us an itinerary of our wedding day several weeks prior, and was very accommodating when we requested slight changes.

Taylor is an amazing photographer. We were nervous about our engagement session, but he suggested meeting at a bar beforehand, which gave us a chance to relax and get to know each other a little bit. The whole experience was really fun, and the photos were magical.

On the day of the wedding, Taylor and Lauren were very professional, made sure everything ran smoothly, and not only put up with our crazy pup, but took some amazing shots of her! They captured every special moment, and we absolutely love how the photos turned out.

Above and beyond quality and talent, genuinely kind and thoughtful, and oh, so professional! From the very first meeting at their studio to even a month after the big day, they made us feel comfortable, warmly welcomed, and assured. I remember my wife, Katie, and I going downstairs to the Starbucks afterwards and talking about how much we enjoyed meeting Lauren and Kelsey. They took the time to learn more about us (not so easy a task with us being a couple of awkward introverts!) and managed to perfectly capture our personality, tastes, and preferences from the photo highlights down to the minor details. You will not only get great value, but the photography is high quality. They work amazingly well with other vendors (even providing credit on their blog), they float around unobtrusively while managing to capture your precious moments, and even provide encouragement and perspective the day-of to help you slow down and thoroughly enjoy your special day.
