We were referred to CTL by a friend - I saw her engagement pictures and I was blown away by how natural and romantic they turned out. My fiancé and I met with Sammy at a nearby coffee shop in Fullerton. He was so considerate, and asked us for out coffee orders ahead of time, so we could have drinks as soon as we sat down. That alone spoke miles of his character - he truly cares about making his clients feel comfortable and valued. Right away, Sammy made us feel comfortable, and he did not pressure us at all. There are so many choices when it comes to hiring vendors for your wedding, and so much competition, but Sammy did not make it feel like he was selling himself to us. He spoke so passionately about photography, love, and family - that is what really sold me (2nd to his amazing portfolio, of course). Engagement Shoot - Sammy made us feel so comfortable and he made the process light and easy. He was so engrossed in the process, it made us forget about our surroundings and we were able to laugh comfortably and have fun. He made me feel beautiful! When we got our photos back, we were so satisfied! I couldn't wait for the wedding. Wedding Day Photos - The wedding day, as most wedding days are, was hectic and stressful and I was a ball of anxiety. But Sammy was on time, professional, and courteous. We were rushed, but he still managed to get all the photos I asked for. Sammy and his team were discrete and did not disrupt the ceremony, the speeches, dances, etc. The day flew by, and then we received our photos between 8 and 12 weeks as promised (I think it was around 9 weeks). We were absolutely blown away by the wedding photos, they were exactly what we wanted. I was amazed at how beautifully Sammy captured our special day.

Since the very first day I contacted them inquiring of their wedding packages to now, after they have photographed my engagement session and wedding, they have been so easy to work with, fun, professional, helpful and kind. My husband and I met Sammy 3 years ago when he photographed my sister in law's engagement session. I was so impressed by his sweet and charismatic personality and the way he interacted with the couple but I was even more blown away by how well he captured the moments even more beautifully than I had seen in person! I knew then that I wanted him to be the one to capture my big day as well.
From the first initial meeting until the day of the wedding, Sammy was an absolute pleasure to work with. Being in front of the lens can be a scary thing and my husband and I were so nervous the day of our engagement session. Sammy was so thoughtful when he pulled me aside right before the "First look," and reminded me to embrace and treasure every moment of the night and to have fun and enjoy it. That was probably one of the best advice I was given that entire day and it is just one of the ways that Sammy shows his clients how much he cares.
