Leading up to the wedding she was responsive, reassuring and both welcomed different photo ideas for our wedding day, but also had visions and suggestions of her own. I never felt pressured to follow her suggestions, but at the same time felt guided throughout the process.

The day of the wedding she was punctual and was familiar with our venue so she had already thought out multiple shots, angles, and perspectives. She captured every photo idea I wrote down for her and made the family portraits go quickly and smoothly. She was detailed but efficient and though we did not have a first look so we knew we were not going to have much time at our cocktail hour, we still managed to have some time with our family and friends before the reception. She kept a tight schedule on the day to ensure every photograph idea we shared with her was done and included personal touches along the way. We appreciate her tirelessly following us around the reception taking glimpses of our night, while also somehow never being in the way.

Our backlit pictures outside in the courtyard at night were what sold me on her talent and style! She was absolutely lovely to work with and has the perfect mix of traditionally-styled photos as well as candid/ in the moment style.

I got married at Holly Hedge Estate in July 2024. Cindy's work is absolutely phenomenal- it doesn't get any better. She is very experienced and knew the property inside and out. She's very attentive to natural light, and will always give you the highest quality images. She gave us over 1,100 images, and they're all amazing- there's not even 1 that is mediocre. Back in November, 2023 I got married at The Lambertville Station in Lambertville, New Jersey. We are so happy that we chose Cindy to be the photographer for our wedding! Cindy is very careful with detail and she knows exactly where to place everyone and everything so that it photographs best. Every time I look back at our wedding photos I can’t help but smile because of how beautiful they all came out! Cindy and her assistant were at the venue from the beginning of the day when the bridal party was getting ready to the end of the night when we had a sparkler sendoff, and she captured every moment in between. Cindy knew some of the most beautiful scenic areas around the venue where she brought us to take photos. Most photographers would’ve picked one or two decent spots, Cindy brought us all around the property to ensure we have multiple photo ops, and I can’t even decide which one I love the most because they were all beautiful. Cindy DeSau as the photographer for our wedding was the best decision we made, and was by far my favorite vendor of our event. She is so talented in her photography, and she knows lighting and angles with her eyes closed. The photos turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined, but possibly more importantly, she put me at ease every step of the way. Her pricing packages were also the most competitive. We were looking for someone who really knew HollyHedge and Cindy is an expert. She had fantastic recommendations for the best spots to get photos, and I can't believe how even the lighting came out in the finished shots with how sunny it was that day. She was very professional and friendly, and got great coverage of our day considering we didn't add on a second shooter. Very imaginative and got some really interesting, artistic shots.
