I got married at Holly Hedge Estate in July 2024. Cindy's work is absolutely phenomenal- it doesn't get any better. She is very experienced and knew the property inside and out. She's very attentive to natural light, and will always give you the highest quality images. She gave us over 1,100 images, and they're all amazing- there's not even 1 that is mediocre. Please choose her- I'm extremely picky, I promise you won't be disappointed :) -

The Best Day
Back in November, 2023 I got married at The Lambertville Station in Lambertville, New Jersey. We are so happy that we chose Cindy to be the photographer for our wedding! Cindy is very careful with detail and she knows exactly where to place everyone and everything so that it photographs best. Every time I look back at our wedding photos I can’t help but smile because of how beautiful they all came out! Cindy and her assistant were at the venue from the beginning of the day when the bridal party was getting ready to the end of the night when we had a sparkler sendoff, and she captured every moment in between. Cindy knew some of the most beautiful scenic areas around the venue where she brought us to take photos. Most photographers would’ve picked one or two decent spots, Cindy brought us all around the property to ensure we have multiple photo ops, and I can’t even decide which one I love the most because they were all beautiful. I will recommend Cindy to every person I know who is getting married in the near future! -

Cindy DeSau as the photographer for our wedding was the best decision we made, and was by far my favorite vendor of our event. She is so talented in her photography, and she knows lighting and angles with her eyes closed. The photos turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined, but possibly more importantly, she put me at ease every step of the way. Her communication was fantastic and she answered every one of my questions and then some I didn't think of! On the day of our wedding, she was professional, kind, helpful, and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. She even stayed longer to capture some extra unexpected moments. Even months after our wedding, she checked in to make sure we had all of our photos. If you are thinking of booking with Cindy, look no further because she is the best!! -

Cindy was the photographer for my wedding at HollyHedge Estate in June 2022. She was absolutely fantastic, we interviewed a couple of photographers but meshed the best with her. Her pricing packages were also the most competitive. We were looking for someone who really knew HollyHedge and Cindy is an expert. She had fantastic recommendations for the best spots to get photos, and I can't believe how even the lighting came out in the finished shots with how sunny it was that day. She was very professional and friendly, and got great coverage of our day considering we didn't add on a second shooter. Very imaginative and got some really interesting, artistic shots. Overall we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend her to anyone! -

Cindy and her team were wonderful to work with the whole way through. Up to the day of the wedding, I was a bit nervous knowing that much of the day would center around photos, since I’m not the most comfortable when I know there’s a camera (or multiple) on me. I’m not exaggerating when I say I felt completely at ease from the minute Cindy and her team started. Cindy has a calm and pleasant demeanor, and nothing felt rushed. I felt like I was taking the day in as we got photos.
Months before the wedding, Cindy called to ask about our vision. She suggested that I revise the proposed wedding day timeline I mapped out so we wouldn’t have to rush for the most important photos, and let us know how much time was needed for each round of photos (getting ready, first look, bridal party, family, extended family, etc).
She was excited to hear that I wanted first look pictures. When I’d Google searched first look examples, many of them involved one soon-to-be-spouse sneaking toward the other, thus focusing on one of their reactions more than the other. I told Cindy I wanted to turn around at the same time as my husband, and she not only accommodated this wish, but executed it well. I’m so happy I can treasure the moment frame by frame from each perspective.
Cindy was also glad to hear that we wanted golden hour photos outdoors. On cue, we were snuck out during the dinner hour. Before she and the team packed up, we also got sparkler “send-off” photos at the gate of the venue. The team has the gadgets to ensure the best lighting, so if anyone’s hoping to get photos at sunset or after dark but is worried about them “turning out,” fear not.
There are thousands of high-quality photos to choose from, and many from different angles of the same moments, so it was hard to pick our favorites. Believe me when I say the magical atmosphere is captured perfectly in every photo. We’re delighted with how many fantastic pictures there are of our family, bridal party, and friends, too. Everyone who has seen the photos is pleased. My husband and I can’t stop looking at them over and over-- it’s like we’re reliving that day! -

A wedding day made perfect
Cindy was the photographer for my wedding in May of 2021. She was wonderful throughout the whole experience. She took the time to call be months before to get an idea of who I am, and what would be important to me for my wedding. We spoke several times leading up to the wedding; and she showed up the day of energized and excited. Cindy is kind, professional and genuinely cares about making the day exactly what the bride wants. I can't stop looking at my photos!!!! -

Our wedding was June 8, 2019. It was a beautiful day; we couldn’t have asked for better weather. My husband and I decided to do first look before the ceremony so we could take some of our pictures before to get them out of the way! Cindy cares so much about capturing your day. She has such a big heart and you can truly tell that she loved what she does! We got our pictures about a month after the wedding, I believe this is an incredibly reasonable amount of time! The photos were out of this world, everything that we wanted and more! Some traditional, some so creative. She is so good at taking advantage of the space that you choose. I believe that what Cindy does is such an important part of your day and the memories that you take away, and because of the person that she is, you will love what you see in her photos! -

Cindy shot our wedding on 9/29. She was so easy to work with with and made us all feel very comfortable. She took phenomenal photos, got them back to us much more quickly than expected and captured all the love of our special day. She worked with us to create all the shots we wanted and more and I wasn't stressed at all on the wedding day because she had everything under control! Her photos use light in magical ways and all her photos look so natural. I would absolutely recommend asking Cindy to be a part of your day! -

Wedding Memories for a Lifetime
After receiving the vendor book the wedding venue provided, I immediately went to the photographers as I knew this was one of the most critical roles of the day. After seeing Cindy's portfolio of work, I knew I had found our photographer. Her photographs were pieces of art. Cindy worked to ensure we were comfortable ahead of the wedding date and went the extra mile when I started to get the wedding jitters. She ensured the day would be as close to perfect as humanly possible, and that it was! Not only did Cindy capture some of the most amazing photos, but she was super encouraging and supportive throughout the day. I felt like a princess! It really means a lot to have beautiful photographs of your special day, but her work is beyond anything you could dream of! My entire family LOVED the stunning photographs and we will always have tons and tons of photographs to cherish. Her attention to detail is truly spot on and she has pure skill when it comes to finding the best lighting, posing people comfortably in a visually pleasing manner, and capturing real emotions. She took photos of every single wanted moment, so it is really easy to relive the whole day by reminiscing over the photographs. You can absolutely tell that Cindy is FULLY committed to bringing you the best work possible and exactly everything you desire. For some of my ideas, she kindly proposed better ideas and I’m really glad she did because she knows what she is talking about when it comes to getting the best shot in every photo. It would be silly to waste time at certain areas if the lighting just isn’t right. She is very experienced in forming a super thorough and easy schedule that all of your vendors can go off of. She was also very good at keeping on schedule. Her set price is very reasonable and honestly worth every penny!! Ready for Anything
Cindy is great! She goes above and beyond to capture those special moments and isn't fazed by any weather. Our wedding day was supposed to snow and she called to discuss different options for snow photos. The day of it was pouring rain. She didn't bat an eye (just look at some of her rain photos in her gallery if you don't believe me). Thankfully the sun came out right before our first look and she was able to capture some beautiful shots of the sun on our faces. If you want beautiful, natural looking photos of your wedding Cindy is the perfect fit. -

"she's great" is an understatement!
It isn't enough to say "she's great" and then move on. It would do her a huge disservice. Cindy combines a fearless ability to move quickly around every nook and cranny of a location to squeeze out every last bit of detail on our special day. She worked independently and yet her finished product makes it seem like she was working with a team of 10!! "How on earth did she get all those angles so quickly?" I asked myself. Her eye for beauty is unparalleled especially if she is familiar with the location. Her eye for lighting is such that she does not need a team of lighting techs around her getting in everyone's way. She moves fast, works diligently, creatively and quietly to capture the very best of your special event. And as for wedding party photos, not only does she have the creativity and expertise to make suggestions on her own, she is incredibly patient to listen to exactly what you would like in your shots. Miss DeSau exceeded our expectations exponentially. -

We hired Cindy for our June 10th, 2017 wedding at HollyHedge Estate in New Hope, PA. She was highly recommended by their staff and she did not disappoint! She was easy to communicate, especially through email which is what I prefer. We booked Cindy so far in advanced, we planned a final meeting a few weeks before our big day and she put us as that everything would be great. On the day of, she was nothing but professional and we ended up with over 2,000 pictures from our special day! Our pictures are STUNNING and we are so happy we had Cindy there to capture our perfect day! -

Megan Sent on 04/25/2013Cindy is fabulous. We cannot say enough about her professionalism, kindness, PATIENCE and pure talent. Her picture is the reason we picked our venue, Holly Hedge Estate. We searched on the web and the picture she took caught our eye. A year later, we were married there! Cindy is so kind. I was not necessarily a Bridezilla or even an incredibly demanding bride, but I knew what I wanted and so did my new hubby. She allowed us to send her Pintrest ideas and was able to capture our entire day. She even stayed later than we expected in order to get some shots with sparklers and did not make a big deal about it. She works very well with the other vendors and I cannot tell you how pleased we are with our pictures. Her prices are reasonable. We chose to just buy our files and possibly make up albums later on. She gets back to you right away and was incredibly understanding about capturing certain moments with my sister on my wedding day because we lost our mom on New Year's Day. Cindy knew this and was incredibly sensitive and understanding. I was especially impressed when she called me the week before the wedding and asked every person's name in the bridal party and family so she could address them by first name. It's those little touches that earn five stars. WE HIGHLY recommend Cindy as she has a creative eye and knows how to capture the day when you're too busy to take it all in. I get butterflies every time I see our pictures and that is what is most important.
