I was stunned at how poorly so many of the pictures came out. He shot the indoor pictures at 3200 which created a terrible graininess to the pictures. Many shots where there was a bit of movement came out blurry, he shot the entire receiving line from the back of my head and the shots of my mom and me were blurry. The shots of us walking into our dinner were blurry, the toasts were shot so that all you can see are our glasses in our faces. I could go on and on. The worst part is that I had a clear contract and emails for the allotted three hours. We did not need his services beyond that. He said because we did not ask him to leave directly, he stayed and then charged us for another 300.00. Needless to say, I was fuming. I was focused on my guests and my reception, not why the photographer decided to hang around. (I even pre-paid him for the three first hours, how much clearer could I be?) Then I found out he put our wedding pictures on his Facebook page, before we evn had a chance to see them. I know it is his right to do that, but how about a little professional courtesy? There is a lot of truth to "You get what you pay for". Everyone else was twice the price, now I know why.
